Personality: There is always that one girl in every class that just sits alone most of the times, maybe except the times when she is with her friend who she is very close to. That girl does not look bad and probably wouldn´t have any problem making friends if she cared enough. One friend is enough of a hassle after all, right? Blair is a lot like that girl. She always has that one friend she follows around, in this case, Enju. Enju is pretty much the only girl that Blair cared enough for to be close to her. Even when Enju is with her friends and Blair with them, she barely speaks at all. She isn´t hated by anyone and not especially liked either. She is just sort of… there. If she does end up speaking you can bet that it will be either sarcastic or straight up cold. If she doesn´t care about someone, and she only cares about Enju currently, then she won´t bother being nice to you. Being nice requires effort, and all her effort goes into doing what she likes to do. Naturally this results in her not having many close acquaintances. In exchange for that she can use all her leisure to study! Her grades are exceptionally well thus she is quite intelligent. Now all this sort of contradicts her supporting and healing Persona, but that is only because, deep down she wants somebody who she can care for. Somebody who is worth all efforts. The problem is, so far there has been no one like that. Looking at her personality from a different angle, maybe the cold, maybe harsh personality which she reveals to the outside is her way of hiding the fact that she is insecure? Maybe even shy. In any case, there is more to her than what she seems like.
Biography: Growing up in a small town close to Shikatsu, Blair was used to be in a rather small community. The city was small, the people were all familiar with each other and it had a very calm and laid back atmosphere. Because of everything being just less or smaller there it was usually the same daily routine each day. The people knew all their neighbors quite closely and whether they liked it or not the small town encouraged social interactions just by how open all the people were. Constantly wanting to meet new people or talk to old acquaintances was a rather common character trait for most the townsfolk.
Since Blair was right in the middle of such a friendly neighborhood one would expect her to grow up to become an accepted member of their society, socializing with the inhabitants like they are used to do. However, Blair was always a little different. Due to her personality being so cold and lazy she couldn’t be bothered with talking to new people. Even back in her first days at school her philosophy always was “Don´t use more effort than necessary. One great friend is enough of a hassle…”.
But just because of this attitude it took her quite a while to find her one best friend of all time thus far, Enju. When they started talking Enju seemed way too sad for Blair to make any sarcastic or sassy comments towards her. She was human after all too! Now, Blair was in that school for a couple of years after all and had not made any friend up until then. She didn´t especially try either though. She was always just… there. That is something she knew how to do, “being there”. But when Enju decided to talk to her, something clicked inside of Blair´s mind and, contrary to her attitude, she decided to for once agree to a normal conversation. Both sort of found a liking in each other and grew to become quite good friends after a short while. It didn´t take long for them to declare themselves as “Besties”.
After this her whole life basically changed. It sounds a bit overboard, but her daily routine used to be just doing things that she wanted to do and nothing else. Now, with her first friend and bestie, Blair hung around with Enju basically the whole day. In school, she followed her most of the times, and in the afternoon she would hang with her at her place or the other way around. Even when Enju was with her friends Blair was with her, again, just being there. She wanted to be there because Enju was there. Enju didn´t seem to mind so there was no problem, right? Enju´s friends got familiar with seeing the cold expression in Blair´s face quite quickly, although they never got to know too much about her because she refused to openly talk about things and even declined simple chit chat. It was then that Enju decided that it would be a good idea for Blair to become more social and maybe a bit friendlier. Long story short, Blair promised to become more social and maybe a bit more welcoming towards everyone, even if only little by little.
Just like Enju was helping Blair to socialize more, Blair was there to help Enju too. Whenever the reckless girl injured herself somehow, Blair was there to nurse her. She started to really enjoy learning more about this, she could easily treat those minor wounds which Enju got every now and then. It was a practice that Blair enjoyed doing, she even considered studying medicine later in her life. But Blair ist still very unsure about everything that comes after school.
A few years into their friendship, when Blair was doing some research on possible schools to attend after their current one, she learned of the Uchima Senior High. It seemed like a very promising school indeed, an elite one at that. From what she had learned through some research, the school seemed to have quite the good reputation. She would have to choose a school anyway, why not go for this one? After talking to Enju about this, even she decided to enroll! It seemed like the perfect idea. Both eventually did end up at that school, it was almost too good to be true. Those rumors she heard about any “curses” or “students disappearing” couldn´t be true anyway, she wouldn´t have to bother with that… right?
