SUN
Sun would definitely be more than happy for Marcus to join along. Honestly, who was he to stand between the blooming flower between Shay and Marcus. Shay needed a distraction from the distress that plagued them today. So much has happened in such a short number of hours, that it seems like it could spand over a week at least. She was scratched, almost infected, seeing hallucinations, incapacitated, and in agony. At this point, Shay can get whatever she wanted. Or at least thats what Sun thought at the moment. And he literally had no quelms with Marcus joining. Hell...if you think about, its kinda romantic...you know...the two of them flying together...holding hands as the breeze pushed against their faces and they look at eachother in utter purity.
Sun playfully swiveled to Marcus and nodded his head. "Of course you can Marcus! Who am I to deny you special time with your girlfriend?", Sun said teasingly as he let out a boisterous laugh. His eyes opened wide and he quickly slapped his hands over his mouth..."Oops, nevermind!", he quickly stated. He wasn't actually sorry though, and was in fact, feeling incredibly light. Speaking of which. Sun made a quick clapping gesture of excitment and walked to the door of the room they were in. He looked back and forth between Shay and Marcus' faces, grinning like he was reading the part of a romance novel when the main guy and girl kissed. "Okay! Let's fly!", he shouted gleefully. He paused for moment and pointed to them both with his frail finger, sternly warning them of flying, "Just be sure you two lovebirds don't fly to far from me, otherwise you'll drop like an egg", he said in a teacher-esque manner.
Once Shay and Marcus were ready and understood his simple instruction, he'd put his hands to his temples, close his eyes, and concentrate intensely. It would only take a few moments, and then beautiful ethereal butterfly-shaped sprites would begin emanating from the center of his forehead and drift leisurely through the air over to Shay and Marcus, swirling themselves around the pair as if they were in orbit. Sun would also surrond himself with his sprites and after a few seconds, they would feel a lightness to their bodies and then...not feeling at all. It was a marvelous, but akward sensation that made them feel weightless. Sun was used to it, but for Shay and Marcus, it would feel a little awkward at first. And as soon as that weightless feeling washed over their entire bodies, they would begin to float off the ground.
A side effect of being weightless within the entanglement of the sprites is that the body feels almost nothing, like numbing. And in Shay's case, she wouldn't feel any of the pain that had been coarsing through her veins. It would take a little getting used to at first for Shay and Marcus, and they probably wouldn't have proper balance while in the air either. Sun wasn't worried though. Actually, it would be rather endearing to see the two of them awkwardly tumbling about through the air. But, when they finally found the balance...when they were finally ready to take to the skies, Sun would wink to them both, motion for them to fly with him out of the hospital, and then they would take to the skies towards Shay's home. Shay's home wasn't relatively close though, so it wouldn't be an ultra quick trip but the scenic view of flying...absolutely priceless.
ELIZA
"Seriously Geo, what were you thinking? Someone could have seriously been hurt! Don't you realize that?", Eliza was saying to her brother sternly, pacing back in forth in front of him as he sat on the grass, almost feeling a bit shameful. His face suddenly turned red when he had a thought. "Well you didn't have to go and start spraying your pheromones over me. I could of handled it.", he said in a brash tone. She looked away from him and huffed, rolling her eyes and looking back at his face with a cold countenance as she placed her hands on her hips. "Umm...obviously not. You let your anger get the best of you and it was getting way out of hand!!", she angrily retorted. They were in an isolated area, so not too many people were around to hear their conversation.
"Whatever sis...I just didn't need you coming to my rescue is my point..", he coldly stated, turning his eyes to the ground as he began to pluck out handfulls of grass and toss them to the side. Eliza let out a deep sigh and her face of frustration turned into a face of understanding. Her countenance lightened up and she let out a soft chuckle...walking over to her brother and sitting on the ground beside him. She looked to him and smiled delicately. "I'm sorry I controlled you with my pheromones, but...you should have been in my shoes. I felt like I didn't have any choice", she stated to him sincerely. He looked to her and returned a slight smile and nodded.."I know...I'm sorry too...you know...for putting you in that situation. I know after the whole thing with dad...you don't really like using your power".
Eliza made a slightly cringed face and looked away from him, nodding her head in agreement. "Thats an understatement", she said in a obviously upset tone. She took her hands and trailed them through her hair, pushing it back as she let out a deep sigh. She had a habit of rubbing her hands through her hair when she was feeling frustrated. She stood up, brushing off her bum from the grass and dirt and held out her hand to her brother and let out a wide smile. "Come on kiddo. Let's go back to the celebration. I still think we should help. Maybe just...somewhere else", she said in a teasing and elated manner. Geo gripped her hand and practically pulled himself up, restraining his strength so he didn't accidentally dislocate her arm or break it. "Who you callin kiddo?", he retorted jokingly while he laughed out loud.
They made their way back to the festitives, and some major progress had been made. The set up was quite inviting and warming, well...as nice as it was going to get for a Dead covered world. Eliza walked around while Geo followed her, but then all of a sudden, she noticed the boy from during Cypher's speech. The one who was giving her a stank look. In fact, he was standing near Cypher now, looking as though he wanted to impatiently talk to him. Eliza stopped in her tracks and quickly hid behind a barrel of rum. Geoffrey looked at her and cocked his head, folding his arms and giggling awkwardly, "What...are you doing?", he said in mid-laughter. She frowned at him and peeped over the top of the barrel and pointed in the direction of the boy. "Thats the guy. The guy who was looking at me funny during the speech.", she retorted in a low tone. Geoffrey rolled his eyes and laughed once more..."Looking at you funny? Oh dear God! What should we do?", he said as he teased her. He then walked over to her, grabbed her by her arm and started pulling her along with him towards the guy. He stopped in his tracks though when he realized that the boy was talking to Cypher. He let go of Eliza's arm and frowned.
She looked up at him and laughed..."Now who doesn't want to go over and say hello...", she retored, returning his prior tease right back at him. He let out a deep sigh and continued forward, talking to her quietly as he proceeded..."Just wave and smile...", he barely worded through the skin of his teeth. "And look at how that turned out...", she retorted in the same quiet tone, following behind him. Geoffreys smile was most definitely a coy one. He had no reason to trust Cypher, but after his last incident, he wanted to prove to Eliza that he could carry on respectful conversation, even with people he didn't particularly care for. As they slowly walked up to the pair, they both took notice of a bird that landed on Kaiden's arm. He seemed to be...in talks with it. It was so very odd to see. Eliza and Geoffrey looked at eachother and made a funny face, simultaneously going.."oooooooooh" and quickly laughing afterwards.
When they finally reached Cypher and the guy with the bird. Geoffrey grunted and nudged Eliza. She looked at him and rolled her eyes before looking back to Cypher and Kaiden. She spoke in a calm and casual tone, smiling pleasently, "I'm sorry to interrupt you both but..", she began, directing her words towards Cypher. "I don't think we properly introduced ourselves. So....I'm Eliza and this is my brother Geoffrey. We just, wanted to thank you is all and let you know we would like to help in any way we can.", she said in a lovely tone. She looked to Kaiden and smiled to him warmly before looking to her brother and giggling. He was obviously having a hard time faking a smile.
