@Oblivion666: You gotta admit, his facial expression is pretty blank. That could be a "good" thing though, means when it comes to lying, or decieving people, or keeping secrets, people cant read your facial expressions. Your just...blank. LOL
There we go. Check it again, its all fixed @AbigailTenshi My bad! LOL Dont know how i got 18 when it clearly reads 19. Hahaha
Oh whoops! SORRY! LOL Let me fix it real quick. Hahaha
I was gonna put mysterious as his trait, but i figured even that wouldn't sum up the oddball he is. So question marks seemed be the most fitting thing. Hahaha
WOW! Sorry it took me so long to make my post! Been super distracted all day and held it off. And I kinda wanted to see how everyone else would post to get a feel for a the flow. Very good so far. I love the amount of detail put into these post, with the bolding, italics, colour coding. Its a treat. I always like RPs that read like a book. Those are the best kind. ^_^ Fighting!

"Seven minutes...23 seconds...", Paneru whispered to himself in a tone of disappointment. He placed his hands on the end of the pool and pulled himself out, shaking out and squeezing his long blonde hair of the excess water and sitting on the edge with his feet dangling in. He moved his toes around in a circular motion as he started drying off his hair with his towel. He paused briefly and looked back at his water proof stop watch. To some degree...he was disappointed. One would think that being able to hold your breath for over seven minutes was an remarkable feat in and of itself. Sure, for your average person, this was incredible. But when it came to the water, to swimming, this felt like his territory. It wasn't new for him and with a goal of 10 minutes lurking in the deep crevices of his mind, only being able to hold his breath for 7 minutes was unsatisfying. Second by second he would constantly remind himself. Every second he could hold his breath longer was a victory. He smiled softly at the thought and felt a sense of self-importance that boosted his spirit.

Having gathered back a immediate burst of confidence, he quickly stood up and made his way into the locker rooms to change out of his swimming trunks and into the school uniform. With the swimming competition coming up, he was one of the few freshman accepted on the team, so he had to make sure to work his hardest and put forth his best effort. Momotaro...as his mom used to affectionately call him...Your like a fish out of water. Standing at his locker, he smiled softly at the thought, and briefly began to cry, quickly trying to wipe away the trickle of tears that had formed. From behind a voice spoke, somewhat deep and harsh, but oddly comforting.

"Hey...Paneru...you okay?", the voice spoke softly in a worried tone. Paneru spun around quickly in shock and slipped on his towel, losing his footing in the process. As he was about to fall to the floor, he found himself caught in a sudden embrace. It was a senior and the leader of the swim team, an expat from America named Ben. Ben was one of the taller boys at the school, about 6'3. For a brief moment, Ben held Paneru in his arms tightly and looked in his eyes as though he was concerned before awkwardly letting go. Paneru chuckled in an awkward manner as he turned back around to face his locker and finish putting on the rest of his uniform.

"Oh...hehe, thanks for the save. Looks like I would have been a goner.", Paneru said to him teasingly. Ben chuckled lightly, sitting down on the bench that lined the center of the lockers and swiveled his body around to face Paneru. "So...", he began calmly. "I saw you were crying from outside the hallway and....I mean...I didn't mean to intrude...It's just...seeing you crying didn't feel right. You know?", he said bashfully, rubbing the back of his head and smiling awkwardly at the same time. Paneru smiled warmly as he finished buttoning up his shirt before closing his locker and gently sitting down on the bench beside Ben.

Paneru turned his head to look at Ben briefly, before turning away and speaking as he looked down at his hands that were clasped together on his lap. "It's nothing...I'm just...just having a moment is all", he spoke in a sorrowful tone. "It's about your mother huh?", Ben chimed in. Paneru nodded slowly. After his mother died and after the ordeal with his father, he'd never been the same. Sure his mother wasn't the greatest parent, heck, she wasn't even a great parent...but, there was an undeniable bond he felt like he missed out on with her. For the period of his life that he had with her, it was enough to make him wish she hadn't left so soon. Abandoned him to fend for himself against his abusive dad.

Paneru sighed deeply, as did Ben, who then began thinking about something, and after a few moments, a cheeky grin appeared on his face. Paneru looked up from his hands and couldn't help but chuckle at Ben's silly grin. "What are you smirking for Captain? I gotta be honest...you look insanely mischievous right now. Your totally giving off a weird...creeper vibe", Paneru said to him teasingly. Ben giggled and shot up off the bench like a rocket and held out his hand for Paneru to take it. "Come with me skipper, I think I know something that will cheer you up", he said to Paneru in a confident and assertive tone. "Really?", Paneru chimed playfully. Ben nodded and reached out his open palm a bit closer to Paneru, waiting for him to grasp it with his own. "You won't regret it. I promise", he assured him. Ben couldn't help but smile....and neither could Paneru.
LOL well however u wanna play it out for yourself, go for it. I'm still planning on getting captured though, so u can tag along or not. Hahaha ur choice amigo. Edit: Oh, i just read your post Subject Zero. Just to clarify, Nate is talking to me right?
@Subject Zero: Oh yeah, go for it! My character still hasn't interacted with anyone yet so im game. But...I do plan on losing the battle and getting captured. I have a side-plot that I'm trying to flesh out. Maybe ur character, after he stumbles in, tries to help, but...gets captured in the process too. Then we will be in this side-plot that eventually leaks into the main story. :) It'll be fun!
Charlie Cho
Charlie was uncertain what to do once the dark skinned woman pointed her finger at him. They were about 50 feet away. Maybe he should run for it. But he was frozen like a deer in headlights. He tried to control his heartbeats and began exhaling and inhaling at a much more stable pace. When the two men looked at him, their posture became very aggressive and their eyes slanted and furrowed. It was like they were ready to pounce. Charlie, sensing the situation was beginning to unravel negatively, slowly eased his way from behind the wall and gave them an awkward and coy smile. He put his hands up in front of his chest and let out a deep breath. "Ummmm...its not what you think. I'm just simple college student...on my way home. I didn't even hear anything. I swear.", he tried to say as boldly as he could. The woman took one more puff and yawned as she flicked the cigar on the ground behind her. Charlie's eyes followed her cigar as it flew in the air, but he quickly diverted his attention back to her and her goons. "Well dear...", she began softly. "I don't know that for sure, but I most certainly find out. And if your telling the truth, your free to go. But as it stands darling, you have to come with me". She looked to the tall Indian man and gave him a peculiar look, followed by him slowly beginning to step forward. And as he did so, Charlie slowly began stepping back. "Please...just let me go home. I....I don't wanna hurt you and I don't wanna get involved into your mess", Charlie said as calmly as he could. She giggled briefly as she held the back of her hand up to her face as she did so. "It's already too late for that hun", she said quickly. And with that, the Indian reached behind his pants and pulled out a pistol. "Try to run and...well...certain unfortunate things may occur.", she added. Charlie didn't move except to slowly sit his brown messenger bag on the ground. He was deathly nervous, but did his best to comply. As he stood frozen, the two men, followed by the woman, walked up to him. The Indian man placed his hand firmly on Charlie's shoulder and motioned for him to move forward. "Move it. We've got a ride waiting for us. And your invited", he grunted meanly. Charlie nodded awkwardly and slowly began to walk, the 2 men and woman pacing behind him. Halfway through the alley, the Indian man yelped in agony and fell to the floor, flailing his body around like an injured child. The woman watched intently, intrigued, as Felix knelt down to the Indian man. "What the hell is wrong with you man?", he asked in a confused tone. "I was bit! I was fucking bit!", he yelped once more as he felt another sting sink into his lower back. As he continued to thrash around, it seemed as though he was starting to convulse, as if he had been poisoned. Charlie crept back slowly, keeping his eyes intent on the Indian man and the other two who were watching intensely. From out under his shirt popped a black scorpion. Felix yelped and fell back on his bosom as the scorpion crawled slowly toward him and hissed, before crawling over in front of Charlie. Charlie smiled brightly, and nodded to the scorpion as it began to morph and grow, and in moments, the once lethal scorpion had transformed into a silverback gorilla. Charlie took a moment to rubbed his fingers through the gorilla's fur before looking back to the woman and Felix, who was still freaking out on the floor. The Indian at this point had passed out from the poisonous stings. "Thank you Chunsa...my guardian angel as always", Charlie said to the gorilla affectionately. "Always Charlie...no thanks needed. Now how would you like me to handle these two goons?", the Gorilla spoke back to him in clear and remarkably pronounced English. The woman's blank face, seemingly obtuse through the entire occasion, soon became an interested and mischievous smile. Felix, still on the ground, looked on with his jaw dropped. Charlie's furrowed eyes followed back from Chunsa to the woman, and his facial expression was aggravated, but nervous. He spoke softly, but firmly, like a mother disciplining her child. "Like I said mam...I didn't wanna hurt you".
