Hey there everyone, you can call me Em. I'm a 32 year old Dutchie who's been writing roleplays for well over 15 years now. If you see anything you like, please send me a PM!
What am I looking for? - like the title says, I would love to write some queer stories. I really enjoy a good FxF story, but I'm also definitely up for some gender fuckery or off-the-binary kind of characters. I can also do MxM, but it doesn't have my preference at the moment. - I used the word 'queer' for a reason. Give me characters that are real, characters that have bodies like people have and that do not necessarily follow the 21st century 'sexy' aesthetic. Characters that push boundaries and play with personal presentation and who fit in the setting we're writing in. Give me women who are fat, buff, hairy, disabled or anything else from the host of things that women aren't 'supposed' to be. Give me characters that push the boundaries of gender, or perhaps characters that are inhuman in ways that make the whole concept of gender a moot point to begin with. Give me something queer to play with. - Along that line of thought: I like exploring the unusual, the strange, grotesque and ugly, and find the beauty and strength that lies within that. Let's take some risks and see where we end up. - Romance is not a must, and within romantic-type pairings smutty stuff is not a must. I don't usually like to fade to black, but if we click well on other fronts I'm definitely willing to discuss it. I would absolutely be willing to do a more smut-heavy story as well, as long as the characters and plot work well. I might be up for kinky type shit as well, but it wholly depends on the details. Don't be afraid to ask! - Please be over 18 at the very least. - I prefer to RP over PM.
What can I offer? - My posting speed varies, but it usually varies between once a day and once a week. - I write at least 2-4 paragraphs, and would ask the same from you. One-liners kill my interest in a story fast. - I love working together on plots and world building, whether it is adapting a setting or coming up with something new entirely. - I'm totally up for exploring strange and unusual ideas. Let's get creative! - I'll let you know if I lose interest, and I welcome hearing from you as well. That said, I don't mind it if you ever accidentally drift away. If you ever feel like picking it back up, just jump back in- no explanation necessary!
Plot ideas (italicised is my (negotiable) character preference) - Phantom of the opera inspired, Female PhantomxChristine - MermaidxStranded Pirate - Trained attack 'dog' werewolf X person who steals/saves her - Beauty and the Beast inspired - Jurrasic World inspired with female Owen - Anything with werewolves, really - Shifters being used as pit fighters - Mage accidentally getting stuck with a summoned succubus - lab experiment escapes with help of fellow experiment/janitor/remorseful scientist - Something venom/symbiote inspired? Perhaps something with original characters/setting or
doctor Skirth and the unnamed symbiote aren't as dead as everyone thought?
If you have something else you think I might like, I'd love to hear about it!
"Gah, get off me, you oaf," Loki squirmed as he slapped Thor's hands away. He wished he was surprised that his brother had woken him up in the middle of the night, but it wasn't like this happened more often. Wasn't he supposed to be the older and more responsible one? He sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, grumpy mood dispelling a bit when he saw that Thor had brought him a book.
"A place to go, you say?" he said, paging through the book. It was one he was familiar with, and Thor probably should have been as well. Anything that wasn't about battles or killing however, did not quite manage to keep his attention.
"Have you forgotten all the stories about Midgard, brother? The people there are crude and primitive. Last time father visited they thought he was a god." In spite of his words, Loki was getting interested. He had been trying to find ways across the branches of Yggdrasil that did not involve taking the bifrost, and this would be as good a opportunity as any to try them out.
"And I am guessing you realise Heimdall will not let us pass?"
Gabriel winched as the taller Winchester took a hit from the ghost. He really shouldn't be following him again but he couldn't help but be curious. Curious enough to send them little snippets of clues from time to time (to mess with them by making the riddles kind of ridiculous, of course) and interested enough to trail them invisibly as they went about the bothersome business of snuffing out monsters. He should just stay as far away from them as possible, but after tv world he couldn't help but be curious. And Gabriel had never been terribly good at denying himself anything.
He watched as the human got battered around some more, but eventually- unsurprisingly- he managed to burn the bones and put the ghost to rest. Rather than take it easy, though, he stumbled off in the direction of the farmhouse immediately, where the smartass and his dear brother would be waiting. Unsure of exactly why he did it, Gabriel snapped his fingers and the next moment he looked like a young man- also blond- driving a car into the driveway. When the headlights hit Sam, he immediately braked and got out of the car.
"Oh my god, what happened to you?" He said, "Are you okay?"
History : He used to be the messenger of God, but after that whole mess with Lucifer he could not watch his brother slaughter each other any more and went into 'witness protection'. Since then he's masqueraded as a trickster in some shape or form. Until he met the Winchesters that is...
Personality : Gabriel is clever and mischievous, with a sometimes savage sense of humour. Underneath his wisecracking façade he cares deeply about many things. Losing things he cares about has made him jaded, but not without hope.
~Zach would have rolled his eyes at 'little one', but he managed to keep a straight face as the scene slowly changed around them. He had known the man had a bit of a saviour complex- had been counting on it in fact- but the dramatics still came as a bit of a surprise. He was used to judging humans on their dreams alone, but he was starting to realise he never had a chance to see what they were like in the physical world. It was both interesting and slightly disheartening to see how much he still had to learn about human nature. This priest, for example, had a very modest home and spent his days on the streets, and yet his dreams were filled with plants and vibrant colours. He supposed the only way he could learn more about him, was to keep watching...
"You brought me here?" he said, letting a little quiver into his voice. Seeing as the priest obviously still viewed him as a helpless 'little one', it couldn't hurt to play into that a little. He needed to change his opinion eventually, but that would have to be in the physical world rather than in his dreams. Any ideas he planted here had to come at least close to his own subconscious, or he would eventually get suspicious.
"I did not think anyone would do that for me," he continued. With the sense of helplessness in his voice would trigger a memory and he could observe some more. Otherwise he should slip out of focus for a bit again and see where it went. Unless his subconscious focused on him, Zach couldn't risk taking up too much of his attention this first night.~
It didn't take Autharyx long to find a stall that would trade his valuables for currency. The older female that ran the stall made her own jewellery, so she told him, and was more than happy to take some of his gems and pearls out of his hands.
"We get a lot of pearls here, seeing as we're close to the river," she chatted happily as she pulled up a lens to get a closer look at what he'd laid out. "Oh, but these are lovely. There are some imperfections in the shape, but I can put them in a setting and the colour more than makes up for it."
"They are adequate..." Autharyx said modestly, but he smiled as he did so. He hadn't liked the concept of 'small talk' earlier, but at least this human was polite. It also helped that the stall was some distance away from the busy food market, so that the drone of voices in the background died down to a small murmur at the edge of his hearing. "I am confident you will put them to good use, though."
"That's very kind of you dear," she replied with a smile. Her hands were swift and sure as she examined the two small gems that he had chosen to get rid off. "I'm sure that none of this is up to your standards, but I do enjoy the craft. We don't often get fancy gentlemen such as yourself. I take it you came from up the river?"
Autharyx nodded his assent. It was true, in a fashion. "I'm just passing through, I think."
"As you should. Not much here for a dashing young fellow, especially one with the means to travel." Autharyx had no idea how to react to that, so he just nodded and looked over the stalled wares as the woman appraised his offerings. Most of is was set in bronze, with a little silver thrown in. But though the materials were humble, there was a simple elegance to the work that he could appreciate. Perhaps he would drop by on his way back to see if she could fashion him something. If she still lived, of course.
In the end she bought all of his pearls and one of the gems, deeming the other too expensive to be of any use to her. Autharyx insisted she took it as a gift, after which she insisted he'd take a delicate silver chain he wrapped several times around his wrist. She showed him several of her more flashy pieces, and Autharyx showed off his favourite gems. All in all it was over an hour later by the time he left the stall, and he was already feeling a lot better about this whole venture. Turned out he only needed to find someone he could bond with over shiny things and he would be fine. Mrs. Simmons might be nothing but a frail human, but she had a good eye for items of beauty and he could appreciate that.
It was on her suggestion that he moved towards the caravan next. Mrs. Simmons had told him there was a merchant selling a new type of colourful beads. They were made from simple glass, but he had been quite taken by her description of the vivid colours. As he made his way through the crowd, a niggling sense at the back of his neck had him look around. There was a male human walking some paces behind him, one that he remembered had been loitering around the stall when he'd been counting his money and laying out his gems. He was trying to make it seem like he wasn't paying attention, but Autharyx could feel the heat of his focus without trying. His eyes narrowed and he was considering to stop and confront the human when he felt yet another presence. He turned his head just in time to see Tezy look away again. He watched the not-quite-human disappear into the crowd and when he looked back the man that had been following him had left. Just as well, he supposed. He hadn't really planned on making trouble on Tezy's ground anyway.
Dealing with the bead merchant took only half an hour, after which Autharyx had exchanged several of his newly traded coins for a selection of beads. They were worth considerably less than the gems he usually favoured, but there were swirls of colours in there that were shades brighter than his clearest gemstones. By that time he'd had his share of human interaction for the day, so he walked off into the direction Tezy had indicated. He didn't recognise the man's house by description as much as by smell, and sat down on the porch to wait for him. As he waited, he unravelled his braid so he could thread in some of his new beads amongst the shiny bits of shell and scale, using an antique ivory comb to get out any tangles.
The colours in the dream were vivid, but sounds and scents were muted. It always took him a bit off guard how dull his senses felt in the dreamscape. But all that existed in here came from a human mind, and their senses were not as good as his own. It meant there was nothing for him to pick up on beyond the human range, but it also gave incubi like himself a valuable insight into the capabilities of humans. Of all demons, his kind were most at home in dreams, which made their input valuable to the higher-ups.
Once the priest's world came into focus around, it took Zach a while to figure out where the priest was in the mass of green. By that time the scene had already changed, but it didn't matter. When left on their own, dreams were usually fragmented and disjointed. Interacting with the dreamers usually had a stabilising effect, but thankfully it didn't really seem to carry over into the waking world too much. Unless he forced something really out of character, it took a lot of training to be able to recognise involvement in a dream. When the mass of bodies presented itself, Zach decided to just jump in. All he got from the priest so far fas the feeling of being lost, and that wasn't going to help him any. He closed his eyes and let himself be pulled into the narrative of the dream.
~He was moving effortlessly through the press of bodies, Kiel's presence a beacon in the less-than-real world around him. He let the priest's unconscious come up with his attire, but made sure that his body was unharmed in the dream world. He kept a slightly alarmed look on his face and made sure the priest saw him several times before he finally bumped into him. His hands came up to the human's arms to steady himself and he let his face break out in a relieved smile.
"Thank you," he said in an echo of their earlier conversation. He muted the sounds and sights of the dance floor, leaving room for the priest's subconscious to fill it in with a different location. He wasn't planning on pushing anything just yet, as he first needed to find out what his target was like in the first place.~
For a moment Autharyx thought his gesture would be rejected, but it seemed to be acceptable after all. He surprised himself by feeling slightly relieved. It was ludicrous to even think he could have an obligation of any kind to the man, but that didn't mean he would be impolite. 'I did not anticipate meeting anyone worthy of respect. That might have been a slight oversight on my part...' he thought as he watched the other pick through the fruit. Mortals just seemed so much smaller and insignificant when he could feel the rush of the river and the skies as a part of him. Even just taking this human form made him feel strangely contained. The worst part was that he did not mind all that much. He might be smaller in more ways than one, but to experience the world as something separate from him was... not unpleasant.
Autharyx nodded slightly when the man made his excuses. It was inconvenient, but he supposed he couldn't expect humans to drop their business for him when he asked. He was planning to try and blend in after all. He frowned when Tezy stumbled over his words to imply ambiguity as to the coming of the storm. Was it impolite to state a certainty in human society? From the stall-human's behaviour he hadn't thought these humans cared a whole lot about politeness, but then Tezy seemed a cut above the rest of the lot.
"I agree," he finally said, "though you should have at least several hours." He deliberately followed the other's example by leaving in room for ambiguity. In reality he could feel the turbulence draw in over the mountains, water in the air drawing together in thick grey clouds. He doubted the humans could feel the shifts and turns of the air as he could, but they'd have to be dull beyond measure not to feel the pressure hanging in the air.
He smiled when Tezy offered the location of his house. "I will find you later then," he said as the man walked away. Autharyx turned back towards the marketplace right away. He still needed to get some of the human currency, but he was pretty sure he'd seen a stall that would be able to take some gems off his hand. At least he wouldn't have to be hungry any more and he already found something to keep his interest for a while. As far as first days went, he was off to a good start.
Well, Sam was 22 in the first season, and I'm thinking we're starting in the fifth season, after changing channels? That would probably make him around 27?
