Looking for queer-minded writing partners

Hey there everyone, you can call me Em. I'm a 32 year old Dutchie who's been writing roleplays for well over 15 years now. If you see anything you like, please send me a PM!

What am I looking for?
- like the title says, I would love to write some queer stories. I really enjoy a good FxF story, but I'm also definitely up for some gender fuckery or off-the-binary kind of characters. I can also do MxM, but it doesn't have my preference at the moment.
- I used the word 'queer' for a reason. Give me characters that are real, characters that have bodies like people have and that do not necessarily follow the 21st century 'sexy' aesthetic. Characters that push boundaries and play with personal presentation and who fit in the setting we're writing in. Give me women who are fat, buff, hairy, disabled or anything else from the host of things that women aren't 'supposed' to be. Give me characters that push the boundaries of gender, or perhaps characters that are inhuman in ways that make the whole concept of gender a moot point to begin with. Give me something queer to play with.
- Along that line of thought: I like exploring the unusual, the strange, grotesque and ugly, and find the beauty and strength that lies within that. Let's take some risks and see where we end up.
- Romance is not a must, and within romantic-type pairings smutty stuff is not a must. I don't usually like to fade to black, but if we click well on other fronts I'm definitely willing to discuss it. I would absolutely be willing to do a more smut-heavy story as well, as long as the characters and plot work well. I might be up for kinky type shit as well, but it wholly depends on the details. Don't be afraid to ask!
- Please be over 18 at the very least.
- I prefer to RP over PM.

What can I offer?
- My posting speed varies, but it usually varies between once a day and once a week.
- I write at least 2-4 paragraphs, and would ask the same from you. One-liners kill my interest in a story fast.
- I love working together on plots and world building, whether it is adapting a setting or coming up with something new entirely.
- I'm totally up for exploring strange and unusual ideas. Let's get creative!
- I'll let you know if I lose interest, and I welcome hearing from you as well. That said, I don't mind it if you ever accidentally drift away. If you ever feel like picking it back up, just jump back in- no explanation necessary!

Plot ideas
(italicised is my (negotiable) character preference)
- Phantom of the opera inspired, Female PhantomxChristine
- MermaidxStranded Pirate
- Trained attack 'dog' werewolf X person who steals/saves her
- Beauty and the Beast inspired
- Jurrasic World inspired with female Owen
- Anything with werewolves, really
- Shifters being used as pit fighters
- Mage accidentally getting stuck with a summoned succubus
- lab experiment escapes with help of fellow experiment/janitor/remorseful scientist
- Something venom/symbiote inspired? Perhaps something with original characters/setting or

If you have something else you think I might like, I'd love to hear about it!

"Could be," Kara shrugged. "Or the other girls killed everyone sent after them." She didn't really care either way. Even though she got along better with the girls on the streets than the boys, she wasn't looking for friends here. The cat-lady had given her a thorough look-over, but then just as easily dismissed her again. Cats were solitary, right? Not the alley cats , of course, but the proper big ones. Did something like that carry over into a hybrid as well? Kara could play well enough with others, but she wasn't even sure what kind of animal she came from. It couldn't be a wolf, she reasoned, or the semi-wild dogs wouldn't have hated her as much as they did.

A slightly disturbing grin spread over the cat-lady's face and Kara mentally added a mark against forming an alliance with her. That was the same kind of grin Knives sometimes got, and she was terrifying. Kara wasn't an angel herself, and she'd messed people up pretty badly plenty of times, but never for fun.

Kara's attention was drawn away from the scene between Jerric and the snake-girl when the silver-haired woman suddenly spoke to her. She'd given up on the conversation minutes ago, but apparently the feline woman deigned to speak to her after all. At hearing the words a smile tugged at the corner of her mouth, showing just a hint of teeth.

"Only when there are so many strong people around," she said easily. She liked her. The woman was clearly powerful, arrogant and aggressive and Kara could appreciate that. With someone like her around, none of the guards would be particularly interested in her- at least as long as she kept her head down. It would be a shame if the cat-lady insisted on broadcasting Kara's attempts at subtlety all the time, but if that was the case she would just need to try and stay out of her way.

@ViolentViolet
Kara narrowed her eyes at Jerric’s words. So he was in league with the men that captured them, or at least agreed with them enough to try and help. The tail squad next to her seemed to be happy enough to be there as well, which meant she was the only one who didn’t want to be caged like an animal. Well, her and the big… lizard… thing scowling at the world in general. She didn’t particularly feel like trying to buddy him up, which left her with at least making an effort to fit in.

As much as she didn’t like the situation, Jerric was right on one account: she couldn’t change her situation, and she was planning to make the best of it. Acting out would only draw attention to her. She might have a bit of a temper at times, but she knew how to be patient when she had to.

With a small sigh, she pulled back her hood and made an attempt at an apologetic smile. She felt naked with her ears on display like that, but it wasn’t like she stuck out here.

“You’re right… I’m just a bit shaken from all this I guess. My name is Kara, nice to meet you guys.” A couple of years she would have balked at a display like this, but she had learned that being underestimated was her secret superpower. Disregarding her fuzzy ears, she had soft features and big eyes that always made her look younger than she was and she’d learned to use that to her advantage.

She'd heard another car arrive, and from the corner of her eye she could see a blur of movement. Her eyesight might not be all that great, but she'd always been able to catch even the slightest bit of movement. Still, she made a show of startling when a woman landed beside her, even going so far as to take a small step away from her.

"Oh, hi to you too I guess," she said, even as the woman straight-up ignored her to look at Jerric. She could figure out later if any of them would be up for an alliance of sorts, but for now she wasn't going to show what she was capable off.
Name: Kara

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Appearance: Kara is short (5'4''), but stocky and heavier than she looks. She has short brown-ish hair, and a thin dusting of fur in the same colour on her lower arms and legs. Her ears are furred as well, and she can move them slightly. She has a lithe, muscular built and often looks like a young man in the oversized sweaters and loose pants she prefers to wear. Her eyes are a really dark brown and her canines are just a bit sharper and bigger than you would expect of a human.

Hybrid Animal: Wolverine 30%

Abilities: Kara can hear and smell about as good as a dog might, but her eyesight is worse than a human's. Her main advantage is her strength. Her skin is thick and hardy enough to slow down some bullets and she is much stronger than she looks. Her nails aren't exceptionally long, but they are thick and strong.

History: Kara was six when she was selected from an orphanage to be experimented on. She was meant to be a covert agent that looked more human then animal, but had unmatched fighting prowess. After being let go, she stuck to the big cities, living on the streets and hiding her animal heritage. Her temper was quick to get her noticed in the criminal circles, and she started there as an errant-boy (or girl) and slowly worked her way up to hired muscle mostly. It afforded her enough money to get by from, and even some people who didn't really care about her animal side. When the facility started rounding up the hybrids, she went into hiding. Someone must have tipped them off, though, because it wasn't long before armoured guards came knocking to get her back. She went somewhat willingly, rather than trying to fight off heavily armed people.
So how will this work in the IC? Will there be a predetermined posting order?
"Don't touch me," Kara snarled as she shrugged off the hand of the guard before it could land on her shoulder. Just because she was short, big guys always thought that she was a pushover or something. She didn't mind, usually. It was better to be underestimated, after all. These ones didn't seem to underestimate her, though, judging from the weapons and tasers she could pick out on their person. She could hold her own in a fight, even when outnumbered, but this time she'd known better than to try and attack. She'd scurried away to hide when she’d learned some people were after… people like her, but someone had ratted her out.

It was probably that weasel Runner, she thought. Lora would find out, and whoever had snitched would have broken arms and legs before they could enjoy the monetary reward they had doubtlessly received. She didn’t know how much had been offered, but Lora had said it was a lot. That was why she had to go to the safe house, she’d said, and had to go in secret. She frowned at the thought. How had Runner found out where she was staying anyway? He must have been eavesdropping again, that was the only option. Otherwise there was only Lora who knew where she was, and there was no way-

Kara cut that thought off before she could finish it and instead focused on the truck that had now fully come to a stop. The doors opened and she jumped out before the guards could try and tell her what to do again, hands shoved into the pockets of her oversized hoodie.

There were three… people standing in front of the entrance of the biggest house she’d ever seen and another was walking towards the group at the left of her. She snorted when a dude with weird arms welcomed them to their ‘home’. As if they were here by choice. Perhaps some of them were, she thought as she looked over a skinny kid with pale fins and a tail. She could take him in a fight, she decided, and perhaps the weird-arm kid as well. The other two set the hairs on the back of her neck on end, with their sharp-slick lizard scents and bulkier bodies. Best to keep on their good sides.

“Whatever arm-boy,” she scoffed, brown eyes peering out suspiciously from beneath the hood of the hoodie she wore even in the warmth of the afternoon. She supposed it wouldn’t be necessary to hide her more animalistic features here of all places, and it wasn’t as if she got sunburns with her brown skin, but she welcomed the familiarity. Living on and off the streets had been harsh, but it had been more familiar than being imprisoned in some posh mansion with freaks like her.

“Does ‘welcome to prison’ sound too bad for your taste or what?”
Hmm, seems like I'm in a different timezone from the rest of you guys, is that going to be a big problem? If it is, I guess I can bow out, but it would be a shame. :( Anyway, here's my character sheet and I'll have an IC post up in a while:

Colour me interested as well. Curious to see where this'll be going.
Zach is beyond grateful that Kiel takes the time to talk to the interrupted lovers as he composes himself. He's been careless, letting himself get too comfortable with his assignment and now he was paying for that. He knows the priest can see something's up with him, and it is essential for the success of his assignment that the priest doesn't start suspecting that he is not the 'lost child of god' he is pretending to be. Sure, he won't get offed for failing a mission, but blowing this chance will ensure he is negated to grunt work for at least a century.

He manages not to roll his eyes at 'love is a wonderful thing' and even schools his face in just the right mix between closed-off and vulnerable by the time Kiel turns his attention back to him. The hand in his neck was unexpected, and he stiffens to keep from leaning into the touch. No matter. It'll fit with his story anyway.

"Yeah, shock," he mumbles, avoiding the priest's eyes with a practised air of 'obstinate youth'. "Though I don't understand why you were so nice to them. I mean, you're a priest right? Shouldn't you have told them to 'wait for marriage' or some shit?" He lets a hint of anger leak through before shrugging off his hand and taking a step back. It will mean a small step back in his plan, but it's important to play this right.

"Isn't that what you religious types get off on? Judging people?" He puts enough venom in his tone to make it seem genuine, but a bit of a wobble at the end to make sure the priest knows this isn't so much directed at him as it is a part of his 'fractured soul'. He catches Kiel's eyes again, making sure his own are shining with just a hint of unshed tears. "Telling them what they do is wrong and that they are sinful?" He lets the last bit hang in the air for a few moments before visibly deflating.

"I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lash out. It's just... Some people can have everything, you know?" He lets his voice catch slightly. "It's not that simple for all of us..." He trails off for a bit before composing himself again, sheepishly plucking some imaginary lint off his sleeves as if he's trying to cover for accidentally letting slip too much.

"I think I'm done," he says as he slings the bag holding his art supplies over his shoulder. "I'm tired anyway, can we just go ho-" he catches himself, embarrassed, letting the silence go on just long enough that is was clear he was going to say 'home' but short enough that it is plausible he's trying to cover it up. "- to your place. Let's get back to your place."
"You're such a sweet man"
"I bet you could kill plenty of people if you wanted to"

Isn't he sweet? ;)
