Looking for queer-minded writing partners

Hey there everyone, you can call me Em. I'm a 32 year old Dutchie who's been writing roleplays for well over 15 years now. If you see anything you like, please send me a PM!

What am I looking for?
- like the title says, I would love to write some queer stories. I really enjoy a good FxF story, but I'm also definitely up for some gender fuckery or off-the-binary kind of characters. I can also do MxM, but it doesn't have my preference at the moment.
- I used the word 'queer' for a reason. Give me characters that are real, characters that have bodies like people have and that do not necessarily follow the 21st century 'sexy' aesthetic. Characters that push boundaries and play with personal presentation and who fit in the setting we're writing in. Give me women who are fat, buff, hairy, disabled or anything else from the host of things that women aren't 'supposed' to be. Give me characters that push the boundaries of gender, or perhaps characters that are inhuman in ways that make the whole concept of gender a moot point to begin with. Give me something queer to play with.
- Along that line of thought: I like exploring the unusual, the strange, grotesque and ugly, and find the beauty and strength that lies within that. Let's take some risks and see where we end up.
- Romance is not a must, and within romantic-type pairings smutty stuff is not a must. I don't usually like to fade to black, but if we click well on other fronts I'm definitely willing to discuss it. I would absolutely be willing to do a more smut-heavy story as well, as long as the characters and plot work well. I might be up for kinky type shit as well, but it wholly depends on the details. Don't be afraid to ask!
- Please be over 18 at the very least.
- I prefer to RP over PM.

What can I offer?
- My posting speed varies, but it usually varies between once a day and once a week.
- I write at least 2-4 paragraphs, and would ask the same from you. One-liners kill my interest in a story fast.
- I love working together on plots and world building, whether it is adapting a setting or coming up with something new entirely.
- I'm totally up for exploring strange and unusual ideas. Let's get creative!
- I'll let you know if I lose interest, and I welcome hearing from you as well. That said, I don't mind it if you ever accidentally drift away. If you ever feel like picking it back up, just jump back in- no explanation necessary!

Plot ideas
(italicised is my (negotiable) character preference)
- Phantom of the opera inspired, Female PhantomxChristine
- MermaidxStranded Pirate
- Trained attack 'dog' werewolf X person who steals/saves her
- Beauty and the Beast inspired
- Jurrasic World inspired with female Owen
- Anything with werewolves, really
- Shifters being used as pit fighters
- Mage accidentally getting stuck with a summoned succubus
- lab experiment escapes with help of fellow experiment/janitor/remorseful scientist
- Something venom/symbiote inspired? Perhaps something with original characters/setting or

If you have something else you think I might like, I'd love to hear about it!

Haha, sounds like quite an undertaking :p I hope you managed to come to a compromise, even though you'll never actually write it :P
No worries :) Did you get far with the novel? It sounds like quite a project!
Zach was leaning heavily against the door frame when the priest opened the door, and the next moment he was stumbling inside, supported by the taller man. His eyes flicked briefly over the assorted books littering the floor, but most of his attention was on the man leading him across it.

"I... I'm sorry," he rasped, slightly exaggerating how difficult his ribs made it for him to talk. "I didn't know where else to go..." He winced as he sat down in the chair, hand coming up to clutch at his ribs. He could feel the priest turning his head this way and that to get a good look at the bruised littering his skin, and he made sure to gasp when a tender area was touched.

"There was... I was," he swallowed, as if he couldn't bring himself to say the words. "I did something wrong. I thought they were going to kill me and I didn't know where else to go," he choked up a little, voice breaking as he let tears spring to his eyes. "I heard that you are a good man, and I don't want to be... I didn't know where else to go," he repeated, softer this time.
Name: Autharyx

Race: dragon

Age: Several centuries. He experiences time differently in his dragon form, so he didn’t count.

Height: 6’0’’

Weight: 150 lb

Hair: Thick and black, in a braid reaching halfway down his back.

Eyes: blue/green

Skin: Pale

Build: He is somewhat slender of build, with wry rather than bulky muscles. His movements are fluid and graceful.

Appearance as a dragon:

His scales are a deep, iredescent blue/green. His mane and eyes are the same colour as his human equivalent’s

Clothes: He wears the somewhat fancy garb of a more wealthy type of trader. The tunic is dark blue, with embroidery in a rich green along the bottom, sleeves and collar. The pants are black. Although the clothe are of a high quality, they are wrinkled and the seams are unravelling in some places. He wears leather shoes that were soft before they got soaked and dried a couple of times.

Accessories: He wears colourful beads and shiny shells braided into his hair. He has a small embroidered shoulder bag filled with various knick-knacks he couldn’t bear to part with.

Powers/Skills(If Applicable): He’s attuned to the energy of nature, particularly of rivers and water in general. He can shift between his human and dragon form within moments, but cannot consciously alter the appearance of either form. Even in human form, his senses and strength are superior to those of mortals.

General Personality: Curious and inquisitive, but does not like to show if he doesn’t know something. He looks down on mortals in general, which can quickly turn into animosity if they try to take something that is his. Like all dragons, he has a penchant for shiny and wondrous objects, which he will defend with extreme prejudice. In spite of all this, he keeps his word and always pays his debts. He prefers to talk around the truth rather than lie outright.

Background: For most of his existence he found humans a nuisance: just a more disruptive type of mortal that moved in his territory. Over time he came to appreciate the things they could make, even if he didn’t really see the point of their fast-paced lives. When dragons started pulling back, he could also feel his own nature fluctuating. This made him restless, which eventually led to him to seek out a human city, if only to keep his mind off things.
The rain was not particularly heavy, but it did not show any signs of relenting even after two hours of pouring. It had certainly drenched Zach completely as he came walking from the other side of town. At first he had worried that the rain would make his injuries seem less severe, as it had washed away most of the blood. Thankfully, a few stains had already set into his clothing and he had some impressive bruises to boot. The attack would have left a human unconscious, but the force of their blows hadn't even manage to break any of his dense bones. He did have some strains though, and an impressive amount of cuts and bruises. It would be tedious, but he should be able to keep up a human healing factor throughout the healing process.

As he neared the church, he looked for the little building where he knew the priest would live. He hadn't even needed to ask about the man, as his name was on everyone's lips in the right areas of town. He seemed to be a proper do-gooder, which was what Zach was counting on to provide him the opening he needed. Sure, some narrow-minded people might think a bruised and bloody body would do nothing to seduce a target, but Zach knew to take his time. He only needed to make sure he got to stay with the priest, rather than be sent to some shelter where he couldn't work his magic on the man. Once he was in, wounds would heal, and from what he had heard this 'Kiel' was a sucker for a sob story.

He slumped over a little when he reached the door, and raised his hand to rap on the wood. By that time he didn't need to fake a wince of pain, as the long walk over hadn't done his ribs any good by the feel of it. He might be stronger than humans, but that didn't mean he couldn't feel pain. He would deal with it, though, especially if this ploy turned out to work...
Sounds good :) I'm already pretty far into a sketch of the dragon form of my character, and the human form would be easier to describe with words. Same format as the cs for the other RP I presume?
I can write something up, yeah :) Let's say we start in the evening with dramatic rain to boot? (gotta time your entrance, right?) :p Zach would wait until Kiel was asleep, to catch him off guard with his 'performance'. Would that work for you?
It sounds really nice, lot's of directions for us to go in. As for the technological age, I was thinking Middle ages? We can play around a little, but have the most advanced projectile weapon be a crossbow and the most cost-effective transport be horse-and wagon or something. Ordinary people would be able to afford very little of those luxuries, making the world a dangerous place. Very few people travel far, and if they do it tends to be permanently. There is a law enforcement system, but there is little they can do to completely safeguard the wilderness, do bandits are very common among the roads.

Originally I was thinking of having the dragon come from the mountains, but now you mention the lake that also seems like an interesting option. I like the idea of a water-influenced design and he would have had enough contact with humans to at least have a decent idea on how to imitate them. Water is also often associated with change and transformation, so that would give an explanation for his powers.

What do you think?
I like it! It offers a lot for me to work with :) Here is my character. I went into the background on the church and demons a little, so we have something to work with should we want to go into that later. This is not his natural form, of course, but I'll go into that if it comes up in the story.

Name: Zach (real name Enoiziach)

Race: Incubus

Age: 85 (inexperienced for a demon) Appear to be somewhere between 18 and 22

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 140 lb

Hair: Black, in a shaggy cut somewhat past the jaw line.

Eyes: Really dark brown, appear almost black.

Skin: Tan

Build: Lithe and athletic.

Clothes: Run down commoner clothes: pants, shirt and a vest in shades of blue and grey. The clothes don’t seem to be quite his size. His shoes and coat are slightly better, of simple, but serviceable make.

Accessories: none

Powers/Skills(If Applicable): Can modify his appearance. Can walk between plains (he can use this to travel into people’s dreams).

General Personality: It is in his nature to be manipulative and cunning, but that doesn’t make him sadistic. He watches and listens carefully to see how he can use a situation to his advantage. He does not like to use blackmail or coercion, finding those tools blunt and inelegant. When he seduces people to do his bidding, he likes to make them believe it is their own decision. He likes to see manipulation as an art, rather than a necessity. When he is backed into a corner, however, he will strike viciously and without hesitation to preserve his own well-being.

Background: Enoiziach is young for a demon. Like all demons he came into existence in the infernal plane, without any parents being involved. He was quick to adapt to the hierarchy, and knew how to stay under the radar. He has no interest in the politics of the higher demons, who are involved in battles with the church of the humans. He feeds off human desire, and most of his contact with mortals has been in their dreams. He is a natural at slipping in unnoticed and guiding the dreams without human being aware of it. It was only in recent years that he started to move onto the physical planes as well. The contact with humans is pretty tightly regulated by the higher demons, as it would be against their agenda to have humanity become aware of their existence. At the same time, interacting with humans opens up a lot of possibilities for them. Incubi and succubae are amongst the more common demons that are allowed into the mortal plane, as their seductive natures open up doors that violence might not.
Enoiziach has proven that he does not need to be closely monitored, as he knows how to keep his nature hidden while getting what he wants. His skills have sparked interest in some of the higher demons, and they have now sent him to seduce a virtuous priest to see if he will be of any use to them in their on-going conflict with the church.
He has taken a human identity and spent the last couple of weeks living on the street to build up the image of a troubled youth. He’s kept an eye on his mark from afar, but has not approached him yet. When the story begins, he has put himself in a satiation where he got beat up pretty badly, before making his way over to the church to knock on the door there.
I really like your ideas. Maybe these dragons are tied to some kind of natural force, that had it's ebbs and flows across the ages. In the past they were abundant, but times have changed and a lot of the dragons have gone dormant or withered away. They know their time will come again eventually. The ones that are still awake will find their natures become less grounded, which can cause strife. With my dragon it causes a restlessness that eventually leads him to live amongst humans.
