"...." Sun's eyes darted around, trying to make sense of this. No reason for so many dead wasps, yet the rest of them being fine. It just didn't make sense. But, now wasn't the time for that.

"Catiel." He said, getting her attention. He raised his hand up, a blue glow surrounding it. "I have some ice magic, but nothing much. " He explained, holding it's hand up to the wasps. "I'm gonna try to freeze them, and they'll probably scatter. If any of them come towards us, open fire, alright?"

And before even waiting for an answer, he sent a blast of ice magic at the giant wasps. They were close enough to the exit they could escape, and he was pretty sure he could pick up Catiel and run off before the wasps all came for them. But, here was sure trying to scatter them was the wisest thing to do.

And, if it works, then great! Infact, Sun was sure of it works well enough, he would feel like going in deeper and killing the queen!
Now, Sun considered himself a peaceful. However, somethings he would not stand, same as any man. Threatening him, that was fine. Ordering him to do something? Fine?
Threatening his crab, as in this case? He could only put this in one way. Ah HELL NAW.

"You have ten seconds to put that gun down before I break it across your face " Sun said, tilting his head and glaring at Tiberius. Who the hell did this guy think he was? You don't just aim a gun at a person, and not at them and their pet, crab or not! "Why don't you be more like him! He isn't aiming at anybody!" Sun asked, pointing to Gren.

"Hey, mate, keep me out of this." Gren said, holding up a hand in protect. "I'll admit, aiming a gun at you is unpleasant business, and a...bit dodgy. But both of you need to calm down, bloody hell. Wait until he shoots, THEN tell him to sod off."

Alright, the funny sounding man had a point. Atleast, Sun thinks he did. What does sod off even mean. "Alright, we can do this...peacefully." Sun said, raising up his hands. "Why do you not like my crab. Please do not shoot the crab, or me. Have you ever been shoot? Not nice! Think about what if i shot you. Would not be nice!"
For Amane's trouble, her machine got filled with bullets, the white machine narrowly dodging the punch, getting it's wing like boosters teared off. "I warned you..." The pilot muttered, turning to Max and Shinji.

"Hello." He said, aiming at them.

"Please step away from the machine, little brother."
The other machine met the red and gold one head one, expertly dodging it's attacks. It's movement was fast, but the white machine's bullets were fast, getting a few good strike.
"I'm not here to fight, actually." The pilot admitted, stopping his assault for a moment. "And I admit, I might have been too rash to attack. I am willing to stop this fight if you are." He was only here to find something, and these machine seemed rather powerful. Why destroy them, when he could find them later and offer them employment?

"...." Max scanned the ground, the sand suddenly becoming hard. He got on his knees, patting, wiping around the sand, finding white metal. "SHINJI!" He yelled, standing up. "This is it! This is IT" He cheered, bouncing up and down. "Help me find the cockpit!"

The rookie watched Akira leaving, thinking. He was right, this group were dead in the water anyways. And he already got paid. "Hey." He said, sending Akira one more communication. "The name is Mark Tone. Thanks." He said, boosting off.
Gren watched the scene from behind a nearby tree. It seemed rather peaceful so far, but one wrong move from ether of the two would probably end up in blood. And, if they noticed him watching...he couldn't say for sure it wouldn't end with him shot. Better make himself known, at least that way, he can know if things are about to go south. He stepped out slowly, keeping his gun at his side. He didn't actually need to aim it, so he was just as safe, and it was a better greeting that aiming at ether of them.

"Hiya, fellows. Wonderful day for a forest clearing meeting, wouldn't you say?" He asked, raising his free hand in small wave. He gave a quick look over of the ship. Fairly advanced. "Something of Aaron's?" he wondered, before deciding it wasn't. Not humanoid enough, colors weren't right, too detailed. Looking at it didn't send him into a flying rage.

That last one was kind of the decider.

"So, ether of you blokes know what's up with this barmy forest?"
"Creeeeepy." Sun muttered, walking through the forest. He had seen some odd stuff in his life, but this was different. It was nature, normally a wonderful thing, but perverted into something...not right.

After a few more moments of walking, he entered a clearing, Racky walking besides him. The giant metal bird was there...no, that wasn't a bird. It was a...machine, he guessed? Faaaar more advance than any thing he's ever seen.

And also, there were people there. Two were dressed rather oddly, but one seemed properly decked out in armor. "Huh...hey!" He smiled, waving. "What's up?"
"...Hey, mate. The hell is that." Gren said, looking at the red thing.
"It's my friend Racky, geeze. Haven't you ever seen a crab?"
"Urrrh... well, no. Not really."
"....Oh yeah." Max muttered, taking off his short and wrapping the key in it.
And Akira dodged right into a shot fired by the rookie, blasting his machine's head off.
"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Akira yelled out in pain, the ONI system transmitting to his brain the damage reports in the form of equal pain.
The rookie's eyes widen. Shit, were the cockpits in the head? The machine was still moving...
He forced open a communications with the machine, his question surprising the pilot.

"SHIT, You alive? Come on, PLEASE say yes."
"What the-?" The ONI Core pilot stopped mid-sentence, groaning in pain. "Dammit that hurts..."
:"What happened? I jsut shot your machine in the head! Not the cockpit!"
"Ugh, feedback from the ONI System. Links my brainwaves and nervous system to my machine for ease of movement. But the downside is that it is linked to my nervous system. So I feel any damage my machine sustains... Wait, why am I telling you this?"

"Beats me." The man said...aiming his weapons at Akira's machine. "We're fighting, but I'm gonna feel awful about this." He muttered, opening fire.
The white machine took to the skies, it's short, plane like wings adjusting in the air. It was more proportioned like a a human, with white, large, It didn't seem to be well armored, and several attachment ports littered it's body, mostly on the legs and back, with one on each shoulder. It was rather simple in design besides that, along with a knight vaguely V shaped head with two horn like antennas, a Y shaped visor, and thick forearms.
The panels of the forearms shifted, moving and rearranging themselves, turning into gatling like guns, which it then used to open up fire on Anna and Amane.
"Amnesia?" Sun asked. That seemed to answer why a teenaged elf was all alone. "I...I'm sorry." Sun answered, figuring that's all he could say. Sure, he had some things he would like to forget, but...so does anybody, and to forget it ALL? He wouldn't be able to handle that, and especially ft if he was alone...wait, was she alone?

"Catiel...do you know anybody? Any other elves?"

Eyes downcast, she shook her head slowly. She could feel a tear trying to form, so she decided to preempt it by using her sleeve. Why is it that she alwasy starts crying she starts thinking about other elves?

All alone? Sure, he had to admit, Sun didn't have many people his self...but he CHOSE not to. TO be completely and utterely alone....he didn't want to try to imagine it. The mere thought lowered his spirits, a great sympathy growing for the elven girl.

"...So...if you have nobody....do you want a somebody?"

She didn't say anything, looking away. It seemed like she was mulling it over, her suspicion no doubt caused by years of having no one to turn to. Eventually she spoke. "We should probably keep going, if the wasps find us in the middle of a conversation, we'll be in trouble," she said quietly, moving on. It wasn't much, but she seemed to be a little happier the first times she said 'we' or 'us'. Before he could finish processing that, she was already a few feet ahead. "Hey, are you coming or not?" She called back, not even looking. Even though it was hidden... There was an ever so slight smile on her face.

Sun smiled, nodding. Guess this wouldn't be the last time they were together..and, he was fine with that.

He was NOT fine with the swarm of wasps they found as the caved opened up. Atleast 25...and even more on the ground, already dead.
The wasp fell to the ground, dead. "Hey! Good job." Sun said, giving her a thumbs up. "Alright, now I'm feeling a bit more confident! Let's go!" He cheered, all nervousness gone form him. IF that was all these wasps had, they would be out of here in no time!

"Hey, Catiel, you're really good with that bow." He complimented, taking a look at it. "...Seems a bit worn out, but as long as it works, doesn't matter! So...how long have you been an archer?"

Deep in the cave, a black fog covered a figure. He stepped through the swarm of wasps, any of the flying insects that touched the fog dropping to the ground. "Weak creatures, to die so quickly." The figured mattered, holding a gem in it's hand. To think, it was here, a random cave. "Where it was matters not, I supposed." He said, looking up, seeing two figures. A human and....an elf. How odd. "No need for unneeded bloodsled." The figure said, the fog growing thicker and dark, soon disappearing, the figure with it.
Sun followed, knowing it unwise to be behind an archer. He would let her lead and attack any enemies that came their way, stepping in if the got too close.

As they continued in, the buzzing louder and louder, and, Sun had to admit, filled him with some nervousness. Nothing he wasn't used to, it happened when he was fighting.

Suddenly, a black and yellow insectoid was flying at them, about the size of a wolf. "What the...?" Sun muttered, stepping next next toCcatiel. Something seem wrong, it was heading towards them. How did a single one notice them, and attack by it's self?

It was then Sun saw it's eyes. Black, with streaks of purple. "Get back!" He said, stepping in front of catiel, swinging with his blade. The wasp moved it's body, actually deflecting the sword. "Catiel, take aim!" He said, stepping to the side.
Sun, for once, frowned. He didn't disbelieve her...but he still had doubts. What if she was saying that to save face?

"You know...how about we go hunting together?" He offered. "Please? I'm not saying you're weak, but...I'm gonna be worried about it." He looked to his left, towards the nearby forest. "There's a bunch of wasps taking up a cave, just nearby, in fact! So...please?"

He just wanted to make sure she was okay, that's all he wanted. He...didn't know why through, why he cared so much about this elf! Something about her just seemed...special.

She was going to say no, but then she remembered last night. If last night was any indication, he's really not going to take no for an answer, is he? So, surrending to the inevitable, she nodded with a rueful sigh.
Sun sighed, deciding to just ask. He wanted to help, but she didn't seem to want it. He gave her a gentle look, trying his best not to seem judgemental.

"....I don't have to, I guess." He finally admitted. Maybe he was worrying too much? He was probably coming off as creepy, as well. "If you really think you can handle yourself....I'll leave you alone, no problem!" He said, the light returning to his face as he smiled.

She blinked in confusion. He was giving up? Just like that? How odd... Then again, she probably could trust him for a bit. "Well... If you really want to, I suppose you could come along," she coughed, trying to make it sound like she was the one offering. Sun caught onto this, chuckling. "Why, then I guess I'll come on along. Come on, this way!"
He brought her to a cave, ,a soft buzz emitting from it. "Alright, we don't want to go in TOO far." He pointed at several strains on the caves walls. They were dried and miscolored, but were obviously the blood of those who came unprepared. "There's only a small group we need to clear out, but they're still dangerous.
