Meta Knight listened to the agent's words and removed the emblem from his mask, he stared at it for a few moments before tapping it using his gloved hand. He fumbled with it some more before he accidentally activated a switch.
Suddenly, a small portal appeared below Meta Knight and sucked him in, dissapearing right after. He soon found himself on the bridge of the Halberd surrounded by his subordinates, where they claimed a portal had dropped him in there suddenly. He sighed in relief as he was back in his home dimension, able to protect it from harm once again.
On the edge of the Koprulu Sector was a planet, an ordinary planet, one that had life, but not sentient life, didn't have any rare or important resources, and didn't stand out at all. Nobody would care about it, and that's why Abathur chose it.
It had been a few weeks since he and his own swarm landed on the planet, they had dealt with the world's surprisingly hostile fauna and were reduced in numbers, only Abathur, 7 drones and 3 zerglings remained.
Local fauna. Impressive combat capabilities, large adaptive potential. Introduction into swarm could prove benefivial. Could not acquire sample, dissapointed.
He sought to hide on a nearby mountain, perhaps in one of the cave systems and start a hive there to reinforce the Zerg presence and gather samples from the fauna. As they reached the temple, Abathur noticed something odd in a nearby cave. It seemed to be a portal of some kind, similar to the ones of the protoss, although he sensed that this particular one seemed... different. His curiosity took the better of him as he moved into the portal as his minions followed him. The portal then dissapeared, leaving no trace of the Zerg behind.
Kaldalis followed her as she wandered throughout the town, saying something about eating more cookies than her sister. She seemed to have an incredibly short attention span and was distracted by nearly anything, and now that he could see that, Kaldalis was starting to feel a tinge of regret. Nevertheless, he continued walking, looking around the town himself.
Kaldalis: I'm not that hungry myself... Do you want me to buy you food?
@Raptra the plan is to actually have him be teleported to Cinix along with a few drones and maybe zerglings to start a hatchery. Then he can make his way forward by studying and collecting more biomass.
"Look at flesh, see only potential. Strands, sequences, twisting, separating, joining. See how it could be better. Eat flesh, splinter bone. Inside me, can touch it. Weave it. Spin it. Make it great."
Skill set/Abilities: Abathur is a unique zerg creature, due to the fact that he is created from numerous zerg creatures. His primary purpose is to serve the swarm as its evolution master, acting as a sort of craftsman and library of DNA. This allows him to modify the characteristics of zerg creatures and improve on them. He does this by ingesting parts of creatures and then gaining access to their genetic code.
He has minimal combat capabilities, instead being a brilliant strategic mind and an incredibly intelligent biologist. He uses zerg creatures to fight for him instead, directing and commanding them through psionic signals.
Abathur also possesses the ability to burrow into the ground and travel to other locations quickly, an adaptation he acquired from his feral wandering days on Char.
Background: Abathur was created by the Overmind using the DNA of various different zerg species and was an instrument of the Overmind's plan to attain Zerg perfection. Abathur was also responsible for creating the Queen of Blades herself, Kerrigan. After the death of the Overmind, he wandered the tunmels of Char, feral and purposeless, eating anything that attacked him.
As Abathur wandered Char without a master, he modified any zerg he came across, and grew fixated on diversifying the Swarm. The Queen of Blades retrieved him and took him under her command. With the de-infestation of the Queen at Char during the Second Great War, the Swarm fragmented, as the broodmothers vied for control. He was too strong for Broodmother Zagara to take control of him. At the time of fragmentation, he was aboard a leviathan.
Kerrigan had then found him again on said leviathan and he served her once again as her swarm's evolution master, evolving the Zerg to be faster, stronger and deadlier. He followed her up until the End War, where he then served Zagara after Kerrigan was gone.
Other Information: Abathur's true goal is for the Zerg to achieve biological perfection, although he knows it isn't possible, he still tries, claiming that it makes sense on a tactical level for him to chase it.
He also believes it is "purpose" which makes the zerg what they are. He states that without an overriding will, they are no more than beasts, much like he was after the death of the Overmind. To this end, he is grateful that the Swarm has a purpose.
Will be added during RP as Abathur collects more and more biomass, strength of creatures depend on the biomass collected.
He finally decided, he would accompany her. The main reason being that he felt pity for her being alone, and also some worry considering she's still a child. He convinced himself that he could learn something useful from this, and if something else came up, then he would figure out a way to take care of her as well.
Kaldalis: Would you like me to accompany you? I came here alone as well.
