Appearance: The Sentinel can be divided into two parts, the lower half and the upper half. The lower half comprises four giant mechanical spider-like legs, and it's immensely powerful engines. The upper half is the "head" of the mecha, which comprise the main facilities. Its outer body seems to be made up of a dark-colored metal of some sort and a few visible weapons such as turrets and missile launchers could also be seen on the outer hull. Dim blue lights can also be seen emanating from some parts of the mecha. Three large glowing "eyes" are also present in the front of the "head".
It came from: Cape of Good Hope (First recorded sighting) East China Sea (Latest modern sighting)
Abilities:
Armored Hull: The Sentinel's hull is covered in heavy armor that's made out of an incredibly durable metal that is unknown to man. It is very resistant to cold and heat, but has limited resistance against corrosive acids. Although it is immensely durable, that does not mean it is unbreakable, as enough damage will be able to destroy it.
Shield Projectors: The shield projectors of the Sentinel projects am energy shield in front of any given area of the mech. They can create multiple shields at once to shield multiple locations, but they have a limited maximum capacity, only being able to cover about half of the Sentinel's area at once. The shields, although durable, are vulnerable to EMPs. Fortunately, they regenerate when not in use.
Mechanical "Arms": The Sentinel posseses six mechanical "arms" that are used for manipulating objects, as well as physically attacking other large objects such as buildings and other kaiju. The "arms" more closely resemble mechanical tentacles, being made out of many different segments, and thus, have excellent flexibility. At the end of each "arm" is a claw, it has four digits and is capable of grabbing objects.
Energy-based Weaponry: The Sentinel's primary method of attack are its massive array of laser turrets, plasma mortars and proton missile launchers. They are effective against smaller targets, such as infantry, vehicles and aircraft, and are not effective against larger targets, such as other kaiju unless uses in large amounts. A moderate amount of them are still under repairs however, around 25%.
Purifier Beam: The Sentinel's most powerful singular attack however is the Purifier Beam, a large, immensely powerful laser that can level buildings. It is also effective against kaiju, able to deal a substantial amount of damage in a single blast. However, it has a lengthy cooldown, often requiring about 20 hours to recharge after use given the current state of the mech.
Sublight engines: The Sentinel's sublight engines are rocket boosters located on each of its four legs which are used to traverse large distances in short amounts of time, such as allowing it to cross the Pacific Ocean in several hours as compared to months. However, the sublight engines are, as of now, disabled, due to heavy damage.
The Forge: The Sentinel's most versatile tool of all is a factory located in its interior called the Forge. The Forge is capable of producing a massive amount of drones in a relatively small amount of time to support the Sentinel during battle. There are currently three types of known drones:
Vanguards are the main type of drone used and produced by the Sentinel. They are the easiest to produce, and are relatively small and fragile, being slightly taller than the average human. They are less effective in small numbers, and instead used en masse to overwhelm opponents. They can switch from an aerial form to a walking ground-based form, and are armed with laser cannons and a small amount of missiles.
The Arbiters are the stronger, more durable cousins of the Vanguards. They also take more time and are more expensive to produce as compared to the Vanguards. Though they lack the ability to fly, they make up for it with better armor and more powerful laser cannons.
The Preservers are the drones responsible for maintaining and repairing the Sentinel and all of its respective systems. They are even easier than the Vanguards to produce, but are extremely fragile and lack any sort of weapons.
Weaknesses:
Slow Speed: The Sentinel's primary means of locomotion, its legs, move at an abyssmaly slow pace, even when compared to other kaiju. Due to this, it has a difficult time retreating and moving to different positions.
Suboptimal Systems: Although the core that powers the Sentinel is powerful, it is currently damaged and is currently operating at around half its maximum capacity, the cause of this is unknown. Fortunately, its power is slowly increasing, but at a very slow pace.
Under Repair: The Sentinel has also sustained moderate damage in some areas from unknown causes, most notably in its sublight engines and its weapons systems. Like the core, they are slowly being repaired as well.
EMP: The Sentinel is also susceptible to EMPs, as they are capable of disabling some of its important abilities such as shields and weapons, as well as doing substantial damage to electronics.
Weak Points: A number of cooling vents located around the Sentinel are considered weak points, as they are exposed and not protected by its heavy armor.
History: The earliest recording of the Sentinel's existence was a primitive drawing found in an African village located near the Cape of Good Hope around 5000 years ago, depicting it rising out of the water and trekking across the sea using its four giant legs before sinking back into the depths. Throughout history, sightings continued to appear, with most of them coming from ships who sailed into remote and uncharted waters. Nearly all who witnessed it thought it was a sea monster of sorts, and some even claiming that it was some sort of divine entity. Despite all the reports, no one knew what it was or what its purpose was, further shrouding it in mystery.
The latest sighting took place in 1986, when a UN research vessel located in the East China Sea spotted the Sentinel. However, this event was unusual as the mecha turned its head to face the vessel, staring it down with three large blue eyes. The ship would then receive an encrypted transmission from the Sentinel before it disappeared back into the water. The information acquired by the vessel would then be sent to UN, which would then be sent to Terra for further study. 26 years later, Terra's scientists would ultimately decipher the message, which contained only one word, protect.

Hey there, almost done with my CS. I can probably post it around tomorrow or the day after tomorrow depending on the circumstances. Just letting you know.
