Current Anybody wanna read a sloppily planned YA fantasy about a demigod that discovers the concept of love and family in a world that literally bends over to hate him? No? Yeah, me neither ;_;

Would probably get back into RPing if I wasn't writing my own stuff. And working.

"Ooh, mess with the tracking class, I like the sound of that idea!" Adrian piped up. "Was literally thinking about checking it out earlier, before we had the...y'know...hostile encounter at the target range." He nudged at Ephraim, already assuming he wasn't planning on agreeing with participating in the activity. "C'mon Free, live a little! Hey, when was last time you were able to get the drop on your sister?" He paused. "...Well, I mean, we wouldn't get the drop on her today (cuz, it's like her thing, no one can ambush the shadowalker), but it would still be fun, right?" He encouraged.
Joey couldn't help but look amazed as he watched the Master Illuminate work. He knew the man could heal, but seeing Silvana's gashes mend right before his eyes was something he couldn't exactly express with words. Out of all of the rogue's past experiences, this particular one would most likely be one of the more unique ones. As he sent her on her way, Master Alexander turned his attention to Joey. The situation turned urgent, and the Master needed to move quickly.

"...I can't promise this won't hurt, but time seems to be our enemy." Joey shrugged to the best of his ability. "That's fine, doc, Just do what you can, mate." He half thought his arm wouldn't even be fully functional after all this. He began to mumble a bit as Alex's glowing hands began to approach the injuries. "So, what, you just touch me with the light and it works-GGHHCK!" He wasn't exactly prepared for the pain that came with the repair. Much, MUCH, sharper than he was expecting. He couldn't even really scream or shout out in pain, but rather writhe in agony and let squealing noises squeeze out of the back of his throat.

Moments later, his arm and ribs were working again. He slowly rose to his feet, carefully testing out the arm. "Saying it's sore would be a fuckin' understatement..." He weakly commented with a cough, giving the Master a seemingly agitated look. "I'm forever grateful, Master, consider me indefinitely in your debt." He began towards the Commander. "Alright, s'ere anywhere you need me in particular? I don't think i'm ready to go back to the cannon bay right now..."
"Hey now, Ephidel, no need to make it sound like a competition." Adrian realized he's never really nicknamed the enigmatic individual, mostly due to it being a bit challenging to find a easy way of shortening his name. "I just wanna help Free vent, is all. Doesn't need to be anything serious." Adrian paused. "...Though, it would be a pretty fun match." He added with a laugh. "So!" He stood up. "You guys got anything else planned, or is Free gonna mope in here for the rest of the day?" Adrian asked, attempting to liven up the area.
Adrian sighed as Ephraim conversed with Ephidel, the son of Anuke's comment easily paralleling his own internal problems. "Preachin' to the choir, Free. You know that." It was why he considered Ephraim a friend, after all. "Ever tried meditating?" He perked up, adding to Ephidel's mention. "Y'know, something to keep your mind from that buzz. Helps me keep those same urges low. Might you the same for you, you'll never know." Adrian gave brief thought to Ephraim's usual less than cheery disposition. "...That, and being a little friendly doesn't hurt either." He explained with a welcome grin, giving Ephraim's shoulder a light pat. "S'not something i'm trying to force, just a simple suggestion." Thinking a bit on the situation, he couldn't help but chuckle at himself.

"Well, if anything, at least you have a release. Me releasing would kinda just..." He looked around. "...Burn everything down." He gestured wildly, flailing his arms a bit. He chuckled again and grinned, thinking light of the seven armed monster he had to keep down. "Also, you could just spar with me! I was literally just thinking about a sparring session earlier (had half a thought, if Nyct was gonna lead it today, but she's probably still doing her tracking class...anyway!). I sincerely doubt you'd kill me by accident." He added with a smirk.
"Hey hey, be careful you two!" Adrian called out, currently wasting time by looking over some of the kids playing in the residential courtyard. He sat at the steps of his apartment, lazily lounging on the stone. He couldn't help but make another silent mention of the comfortable weather they were experiencing on the day. Seemed like it was becoming a pretty simple day, all things considered. Or, at least, so far. It was nice out, the kids were playing, and a training class went off (mostly) without a hitch. Adrian just hoped there wouldn't be any more altercations today. But, knowing some of the egos and opinions of some of the more..."passionate" campers, he knew that might've been asking for too much.

"Well, if anything, I hope there aren't any more altercations that I get caught in the middle of." He wished. As he looked up from his thoughts, he could see the familiar healer Jake making his rounds through the courtyard. Looked like the child of Airmed was heading towards him. "Hey Jay, what's up?" He greeted as the healer approached, sitting up at his perch. "Do me a favor and visit the healer's cabin." He replied simply, not really stopping for a conversation. "Aight, sure." Adrian replied simply, groaning as he got to his feet. "Wasn't doing anything here anyway..." He started off in the direction Jake came from.

It wasn't too much of a trek from the houses to the cabin, and Adrian was courteous enough to knock on the door before entering. Coming in, he was quick to spot the two familiar faces inhabiting the cabin. One face (understandably) was less familiar than the other. "Ephidel? Usually don't see you hanging about, did Ephraim get banged up again?" He didn't even need to answer, as Adrian already began examining the new scars Ephraim was sporting. Some of which made him wince in reaction.

"Jesus, Free, you don't think some of your forest adventures might be a little self-destructive?" Adrian showed some concern for his friend, using the nickname he was sure Ephraim only barely tolerated. "Didja at least say 'thank you' to Jake after he patched you up?" He chided playfully as he continued his examination.
Lammy's anxiousness melted a bit as the group approached the city's walls, what once seemed imposing and fearsome looked quite pitiful up close. The soldiers watching the wall were nothing more than bewildered children, surprised to see equally confused individuals approach their moat. Their weapons were old, and damaged, and looked like they could fall apart at any second. "Someone should look into ironwood for this army..." Lammy pondered as he watched one of the kids summon for their superior. And then he had to look on as their commander approached them. The druid had to admit, the man moved kinda fast for someone his age.

"You must've lost your way, no one comes to Falstaff." The Sergeant mentioned. Given the pitiful state of affairs the city seemed to be in, Lammy could understand why. "This was the nearest thing resembling civilization, so we didn't have much of a choice-" Sheeva flapped down in this moment, landing at her usual perch. "Chiiiweirk chiweirk! (Y'know, I don't know why I was so scared of these soldiers. Ha, These kids couldn't hurt me even with good weapons!)" The red-tailed hawk would've scoffed if she could've.

"So...Falstaff? Is that like, the name of the town...or the whole country?" Lammy questioned with hesitation. "I'm also wondering if the fog teleportation is a typical thing for you guys, or if the lot of us were just in the wrong place at the wrong time." Just as he mentioned the foggy phenomena, another individual entered the scene, her bow at the ready.

"Where is this?" She interrupted. Sheeva's head cocked towards the girl, curious at the mystery archer's urgent demeanor. "Falstaff, apparently." Lammy mumbled back quickly, before turning his attention back to the elderly Sergeant.
Not to speak on behalf of the GM, but i'm sure it never hurts to throw a character in anyway.
"W-well, I'll be sure to consider it as our plan b." Lammy replied, face reddening through a sheepish chuckle as he got a look at her personal smile. It was the first he'd seen something like that from her, he wasn't prepared for such a left jab of cuteness. By that time, a horse drawn wagon appeared alongside the group, with a woman resembling a fortune teller pulling the reins. Listening to Lily and Eranah introduce themselves using their full titles was somewhat imposing for the boy, even if he couldn't say the same for himself. "Hey, hi, I'm Lammy." He began casually. "...Don't really have a title, I mean, unless you've heard of my parents or sister...i'm just a simple druid." He then turned his attention towards the red haired fortune teller. "Got any room up there on your carriage? My little piggies are freezing down here." He queried.
"Oh, uh," Joey found himself being snapped out of a mindless daydream as Master Alexander began tending to Silvana. "Got smushed in by a loose cannon during the rough landing." He described. "Might've fractured it. The pain is wicked sharp, but tolerable if I keep it still." He talked as if such an accident was something he's experienced at some time before. His curiosity ran wild once more, and he wondered just how extensive the Master's abilities could get. "You can do that, yeah? Mend bones and whatnot?" He asked.
"I'll go." Lammy was quick to volunteer. He had to push the millions of questions to the back of his mind for the moment, as there was a more important task at hand. But, one thought did manage to slip from his tongue. "Whew, it's a little nippy out here, innit?" He mumbled and shivered, his bare feet crunching down into the thin layer of snow. Had he known he would've been traveling into colder climates, he would've at least brought a cloak or something.

"Had half a mind to turn into a polar bear or something warmer, but I don't want these guys getting the wrong idea. I'd imagine a big white beast barreling towards your walls won't paint the best image." He mentioned with a anxious chuckle, making a quick turn towards the cold establishment on the horizon. "Wanna take the high road, Sheev?" He asked his mighty hawk companion. Naturally, she wasn't entirely sure that was a good idea at the moment.

"CHI-weirk? (You don't think that might be a bad idea?")" She questioned. She wasn't too keen to the thought of being shot down. "You should be fine, girl. I didn't see those guys shoot down any of the crows that flew by. I'll be right behind you." He reassured the hawk. She was still a little unsure of the plan, but willing to comply with her companions wishes. She took to the skies, leaving the dopey druid down below.

"Alright, i'm going. Don't hesitate to like, follow behind me or anything." He glanced towards the newer faces of the impromptu group. "I won't bite...not in this form, anyway." They were interesting looking folk, he'd have to remind himself to formally introduce himself to them whenever there was time. With one last confirming nod, began a careful walk towards the city.
