Okay so I'm thinking the plan is after cal and souths midnight rondevous well let Phoenix have his intro post and then well skip the next four days or so of training unless anyone has anything major they'd like to cover and then send them out on the first mission. Sound cool to everyone?
South lay lying awake in the room. She could hear North sleeping soundly but she knew he’d wake up at the slightest noise. Mostly she was just monitoring systems. She felt bad, a little bit because she was essentially spying on people but most people were asleep at this time anyway. The time ticked by and eventually midnight drew near and she decided she should head out to find Cal. As she slid out of bed she heard North stir and he looked over at her drowsily. “Where are you going?” He asked; his voice groggy as he rolled over to look at her.

“Bathroom.” South replied casually as she walked to the door. She heard a small groan as North settled back into sleep and the girl quickly slipped out into the dim hallway. It was too late to bother putting on her amour, not to mention it would look a lot more suspicious walking around this time of night in it. As she was she just had a pair of underpants on and one of North’s shirts. It seemed much more believable if she said she was merely going to get a midnight snack this way. The hallway was dim and she was mostly relying on the map on her data pad and the dim light the screen gave off.

She eventually made it to the kitchen and peeked inside the dark room cautiously. “Cal?” South called quietly as she made her way inside, unable to see into the darkness. “Cal are you in here?”
I just wanna say I love all you guys. Your loyalty to this RP means a lot to me :)
“He looks like he’s recovering well enough. The fever has gone down and his shoulder seems a lot less irritated. Make sure to keep reapplying that cream to his wound every few hours and changing the bandages. He should be waking up soon… sometime today hopefully. Sam’s still not ready for visitors. He woke up briefly this morning, but once he ate something he was back out again.” The voice was a strange one, not one he recognised and her words made no sense to Luka. It sounded like she was talking to someone.

His eyes fluttered open to see a woman leaving and it took his hazy mind a few minutes to realise fully what was going on. He was in a strange place; that much was painfully obviously. He was lying in… a bed he thought. Though he wasn’t sure if that was the right word. Looking around he realised he was in a house. His memories from before the wall were hazy to say the least, but he vaguely remembered something like this from his childhood. His eyes eventually fell on the girl from the other night and instantly his body tensed and he went to grab for his blade before letting out a hiss of pain.

This finally brought his attention to his shoulder, which was covered in a soft piece of white stuff that he wasn’t familiar with. But he was aware it was throbbing very painfully and as he pulled back the gauze he revealed the deep arrow wound, which was slightly inflamed and red and memories of being shot slowly came back to him. How he got here though he had no idea and he turned to look at the girl curiously. He hadn't really said anything since waking up and at this point he was considering whether he should just run or not. But his knife was missing. Along with his shirt. And he felt weak, uselessly weak. He wasn’t in much condition to run anywhere.
Kaya smiled and gave him a slight shrug. “If that’s what you want to do.” She told him, probably not something he’d expect from her but she figured it was their last year, if he really didn’t want to go she really didn’t want to be that whiney friend who made him. Kaya doubted she could make him go if he didn’t want to anyway. Personally she didn’t agree with it being a core subject anyway, since for people like Bryant it really wasn’t useful. He was never going to learn how to use his powers by sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher lecture.

Similarly to how her powers were mostly theoretical application. The practical part was really quite easy once you did all the theory work. Hence why she usually opted out of power practical. It wasn’t hard, people were usually more than eager to get in the ring and she was easily overlooked. “Go have your nap.” She said with a smile. “I’ll see you in practical.” The girl then turned and began making her way down the hall. Perhaps this wasn’t the best start to the year for them. If anything she was just worried about how he’d go in the end of year exam. Theoretical assessment of his powers had never been Bryant’s strong suit.
Only mine and Cal haha
I've been a bit busy recently sorry. I'll probably get a reply up this afternoon
“It is getting late.” North agreed as he stood up, taking in a big breath. It wasn’t quite a yawn but it was getting there. “And we have to be up early tomorrow for training.” He said, giving South a pat on that back. She turned to him, giving him a face as he simply walked away, not even waiting for her. “What? But… North wait! How early is early? North!” She stood up and made a few steps to go after him before stopping, going back to the table and picking up her desert. “Gentlemen.” She said, bidding them a good night. Honestly she had no idea when she’d see them again. Hopefully tomorrow but who knew how hard North was going to train her tomorrow. And she still had to meet up with Cal later tonight. Midnight in the kitchen. That’s when he’d said they should meet up. The girl made an internal groan. North was going to have her up early but Cal was going to have her up late. Military life was hard. Still, she reminded herself. It was better than jail. Anything was better than jail. At least that’s what she’d convinced herself of all this time. After today… she wasn’t so sure anymore. Catching up to her brother the pair walked side by side for what felt like a long time in silence as they made their way back to their room, the only noise was their footsteps on the ground, echoing with each step they took. They even didn’t speak as they got ready for bed. South lay there in the darkness for a while before she eventually took a small breath. “North?” She wasn’t sure if he was still awake or not. But she couldn’t remember if she’d said something to him or not before. “I’m sorry.” Silence was her only response for the longest time as she lay there in the darkness, listening for the sounds of him sleeping before she heard something that made her smile. “Yeah, me too.”
Hey guys sorry for going AWOL. I'll get a post up today some time if anyone's still interested. Phoenix your guy is accepted so you're welcome to chuck him in the CS tab if you'd like. It's too late now to tell his story from the start, so I think you should just try to slip him in somewhere. I'm thinking I'll send out a PM asking everyone if they still wanna do this or not.
Really? Wow... when I started out I considered 'free' to be 1 line- 2 paragraphs, 'casual' was 2-5 and 'advanced' as 5+. You go away for a year and apparently you miss a lot...
