South was happy regardless when they made contact with the ship, her boots latching onto the hull and she quickly made her way over to North, who was waiting for her. Turning she waved slightly at Cal, but he was already on his way back to the ship so she doubted she saw her. Quickly turning her attention back to the tasks at hand. As they followed Wash inside South gulped slightly as he indicated to two other guards, obviously expecting them to take them out, as he did. But she wasn’t sure she could.

Sure, theoretically she knew how. But actually attacking someone and knocking them out was a completely different matter. She looked to North, once again her worried expression was hidden by the helmet but he clearly knew what was on her mind and nodded slightly, trying to reassure her. Taking a few breaths she nodded slightly. He moved over towards the taller guy, the one of the right and quickly pulled him into a choke hold. South went for a less tactical approach and raised the butt of her gun, ready to strike him down. However she hesitated. She couldn’t bring herself to hit him. He hadn't done anything to her.

Luckily at that moment the guard moved, only slightly, like he was trying to find a more comfortable way to stand. But it startled her; enough to have her make a small, surprised noise and strike him out of fear. He crumpled easily to the ground, the blow made worse by the amours enhanced strength. “I’m sorry…” South said softly as she knelt down and dragged him over to where the others had been stowed. “It’s nothing personal.”

Name: Summer Grant
Age: 45

Power/ Limitations: Chlorokinesi
Users can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers. The user can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants. Unable to create plants, being limited to manipulating only from already existing sources. Is powerless in areas without plants or at least potential for plants to grow (infertile/barren soil).

Personality: Summer is an incredibly nurturing and caring woman. She is much like her daughter, kind to a fault and very gentle. She treats Bryant like a member of her own family, even giving him a key to their house. Much like Kaya she holds no resentment towards her husband for being away as long as he does.

History: She is one of those rare people with powers who didn’t take up some kind of crime fighting or crime based career. She graduated school and went straight into university where she studied a degree in business management. Shortly after leaving she took out a small loan to start up her own floral business and is now the largest florist in the town, and has most of her business in weddings and corporate events.

Appearance: A tall, slender and elegant woman; Summer has elbow length dark caramel brown hair that frames a pale, heart shaped face with soft green eyes.
“Mum and I go there on Saturdays for bunch.” Kaya informed him with a small smile. It was this weird little thing they’d done for a long time, since she’d graduated primary school really. This was probably going to be one of the first Saturdays they wouldn’t have brunch together in a long time. “I’ve never really had dinner there before… but yeah the food is usually really good.” She said with a happy tone. She was glad, secretly, that he’d agreed to go out with her. It wasn’t like a date or anything, but it was nice to know he was happy to do things like this with her.

In all honesty she didn’t really see Bryant as someone who went out to fancy places where you had to dress up nicely. He seemed like someone who would be more comfortable going to a burger place or ordering pizza in. So she figured he was only doing it to make her happy, which was still a really nice gesture. “Oh that reminds me I’ve got another bunch of flowers for you to take home when we’re done with the burgers.” She informed him. Her mother ran a florist, a very fitting job for someone with plant powers. Some may call it cheating, her mother referred to it as ‘natural selection’.
Luka’s eyes were wide and he followed the girl’s actions closely, though he visibly flinched back when she offered the glass to him, pressing himself against the backboard of the bed. It was a very strange situation for him to be in. He felt so comfortable and in control with the daemons, safe. But here… here was a strange and frightening world full of creatures he was no longer familiar with whom he didn’t trust and could hurt him. Her words made about as much sense as they could given the situation.

The injury he’d sustained had obviously been more severe than he’d thought and Cade had brought him to the wall in hopes of getting him help that the daemons could simply not provide. She’d been there… for some reason or another and had brought him here. She’d saved him. Luka cursed softly under his breath. He hated the idea of owing this girl a life debt. “Cade.” He eventually said, figuring ‘your friend’ and ‘the big guy’ were silly things to refer to him to. “My friend’s name is Cade.” He then realised that, in all the time the pair of them had been over the wall, fighting and such he had never learnt her name, nor had he ever introduced himself.

At the time it had seemed like a pointless endeavour, since he had assumed she wouldn’t be in his life for very long and it would have been easier to forget a nameless face. However fate seemed determined that they be together for whatever reason. It would be easier if he knew her name. “And… thank you, for saving me. I’d probably given you more than a few reasons to hate me and want me dead.” Though he supposed he could always leave out the debt part. “My name is Luka, by the way. Where are we anyway?” He’d rather distract is mind from his current situation.
I am so sorry D: I have no clue what happened... I culled a bunch of RP's recently (one's that had died) and I must have gotten rid of this one by accident. I'll get a post up ASAP
Seeing that South was in good hands North smiled to himself before placing a hand firmly on Wash’s shoulder. “You ready?” He said in a friendly tone as he made his way over to the airlock.

South nodded slightly as he told her what she had to do. Sounded simple enough; just don’t do anything. She followed him over to where they were supposed to exit the ship however she flinched slightly when he spoke to her and she found herself nodding for no apparent reason. “Let’s… let’s just get through this all in one piece first.” She said with a small nervous laugh. She was vaguely aware that North and Wash were both close by, since they were being dropped off at a different spot on the ship to the others since their missions were on nearly opposite sides of the ship.

As they stepped into the airlock and the door to space opened in front of them South watched her brother take a confident step out into the nothingness. She walked with Cal however once her feet left the ground she felt this small sense of panic overcome her that she tried to quickly quell. However she couldn’t stop the gasp that escaped and she quickly clung to Cal’s arm before looking to him and then looking away quickly, glad that the helmet hid the blush quickly enveloping her face. The feeling of being weightless, of nothing beneath her feet was something strange that South doubted she’d ever get used to.
“Damn straight you will.” She said with a gentler smile, having resolved the issue. His second question surprised her a little, because usually they just hung out at each other’s houses after school. However it wasn’t such a strange request that she really had to think about it. “Sure, sounds nice.” She said with another gentle smile. “Oh hey, that actually reminds me, my mum is going out of town this weekend for a business thing.” She then quickly pointed at him with a threatening look, warning him not to say anything bad about her mother because of it.

“Anyway, she won’t be home Saturday night, so do you wanna have dinner with me somewhere? I still can’t cook to save my life and there’s this cute little café place a couple of blocks away from my house?” She asked, either way she didn’t overly mind, she just didn’t really feel like sitting at home on her own on a Saturday night. “I mean… we don’t have to go out if you don’t wanna, I can order pizza or something.” She also offered.
South looked up to Wash as he came over and explained the plan to her, however when asked if she’d ever done a space jump before she looked to North for a few moments before shaking her head slightly. “I’ve done a couple.” North answered evenly, he smiled at Wash, but then remembered he had a helmet on, which really made the gesture pointless. “I was planning on helping her across.” Even though he didn’t have as much experience as he’d like to attempt something like that. As far as he knew, no one knew South had next to no military experience, and he’d still like to keep it that way.

So when Cal came over and offered to do it he was hesitant. He was right; of course, Cal was more qualified than he was to help her. In the end he decided to just let his sister decide who she wanted to help her. However he saw her hesitation, she was probably worried about hurting someone’s feelings. “Cal’s more experienced.” He assured her. “And he’s right; we kind of need you over there.” He said with a small chuckle.

South nodded slightly and pulled the pack on as she stood up. “You’ll probably have to tell me what I have to do.” She said uncertainly. It didn’t sound overly hard or dangerous, but they were about to board an enemy ship.
Kaya quickly held up her finger, giving Bryant a look that was partially glare partially something else. “Seriously, quit dissing my family. I know they’re not perfect, but they could be a lot worse. Say anything bad about them again and I may have to renounce my vow of pacifism to kick your butt.” Her tone wasn’t threatening, but it was serious. Having that out of the way she shrugged slightly at his question to her. “It’s nothing fancy.” She dismissed casually. “Just… promise not to laugh okay?” She asked, giving him another serious look. This was a really personal thing for her, it’d hurt a lot if he made fun of her dreams.

“I’d really like to teach alchemy. I mean it has so much potential! And I don’t even mean for fighting super villains. Think about what it could do for the medical industry! Construction! A competent alchemist could create a building in a day with all the materials provided.” She understood why it wasn’t taught, alchemy could be used for a lot of evil. But without the materials provided there would be no way someone would just be able to stumble across those kinds of things. And, as far as she knew, her family was one of the only alchemists left in the world.
