This is a CLOSED RP between myself and El Taco Taco
2 Quick things:
-I'm not looking for a high school romance thing ATM, I'd like the characters to be at least 21
-I usually post about 3-6 paragraphs

(This plot can be mature rated if you’d like but it’s not a necessity)
So I prefer to work on plots as I go with my partner, so I never go too in depth, but here is the gist of it:
Your character is new to the area, a beautiful, but small coastal beach town, and she one night stumbles across a beach party hosted by the locals. It's there she meets my character and his group of friends, who's families have lived in the town for generations. The pair hit it off and become quick friends, romance eventually follows but I'd like it to be established and come along at a realistic pace.

I do have a couple of ideas for possible plot points later in the story, depending on what you're into. One of the main ones though will be centered around his and his friends' secrets, how much is he willing to tell her? How will she feel when she finds out how much he's been keeping from her?
Name: Blake Ayres
Age: 11
Appearance:
The train was impressive. Blake wanted to believe she had prepared herself for how she’d feel, looking at it but she still felt overwhelmed and anxious looking up at the large, red locomotive. She took a long, deep breath to try and calm her nerves when she felt a hand on her shoulder. The girl flinched slightly and turned and smiled nervously at the woman behind her as she smiled back reassuringly. The two shared many physical features, same wavy, brown hair, same hazel eyes and soft faces. The woman could only be her mother.

“Don’t be nervous, you’ll do fine.” She assured her daughter with a gentle, nurturing voice.

A man knelt before her, placing both hands on her shoulders, his look proud and strong. His hair was darker than the girls, his skin more olive and his eyes grey but some of their facial features looked similar. “Remember to practice and don’t let the other kids intimidate you.” He advised before giving her a firm hug.

The whistle caught the attention of the people on the platform and Blake quickly hugged her mother before she moved off towards the train. “Don’t forget to write!” Her mother called as she waved energetically. “Tell me what house you got put in, about your friends, your classes, everything!”

Blake nodded and waved back, moving inside the train and quickly moving to the closest carriage, opening the window and continuing to wave at her parents as the train slowly pulled out of the station, even when they were out of sight it took her a few minutes before she finally retreated into the carriage and stored her trunk below the seat, she was nowhere near tall enough to reach the top and set a covered cage carefully beside her, hearing a small noise come from within, but she knew to leave it closed so her bird could rest.

The train travelled swiftly across the countryside, once it got going, the click clack of the wheels on the track were oddly soothing. But otherwise it was quiet; she was alone now with her thoughts. Hogwarts. Honestly she had been waiting for this most of her life, her parents had been so excited when her letter had arrived and her mother had done her best to try and describe what it would be like, but she knew stories could only go so far and they wouldn’t compare to the real thing. And her house… her mother had been a Ravenclaw but she had read a lot on the different houses and what they represented, she’d be happy to join any of them. And friends… what if the other kids didn’t like her?
North chuckled slightly at Cal’s comment and nodded his head slightly, “hey you don’t need to tell me. I know what my strengths and weaknesses are.” Of course he could probably still beat most military personnel that weren’t in the top ranks of the Freelancer Project, but at the same time it was important to know your strengths and weaknesses and have a realistic expectations on what your own limits and skills were. He was good, he wouldn’t be here if he wasn’t, but his friends were better. North couldn’t help but feel a small pang of… something when Cal asked to take Alaska away.

He pouted slightly in confusion, however this vanished and was replaced with confusion as Cal suddenly mentioned South. He looked to the others as the pair exited the room, still with the same baffled look on his face until Wash suggested they move on to a new activity and he eventually shrugged, giving them a reluctant smile. “Sounds more like my game.” He confirmed with a small nod.

South’s eyes flickered open and she sat up with a small yawn as she stretched out, looking around the room. For a moment she was confused as to being alone but eventually her senses returned to her and she shrugged it off and stood, leaving the room and heading down the hallway. She slowed, a smile appearing on her face as she saw Cal rolling towards her, eventually stopping as they met up. “Hey,” she greeted. “Where are you headed?” It was kind of obvious where he was going, though she was more interested in the why it seemed polite to ask where first.
Sorry guys :( Things have been super hecktic IRL on this end, I'll get a post up soon
North simply looked at Iowa with a mocked- shocked expression. “Hey, pretty sure I was the one who suggested hand to hand.” He challenged as the other man moved into a fighting stance. He glanced over to Alaska worriedly as her and her brother did the same and, with a small sigh he readied himself. The match began and Iowa came in surprisingly fast, North was just able to get his defences up against the three swings before replying with a jab of his own, but Iowa had obviously been expecting such a move because he’d already moved to defend.

They continued on like this for a few minutes, blows finding their marks every so often. However when Alaska cried out, all of North’s concentration flew out the window. He could argue that he wasn’t in the right mind-set because it was just training and he hadn’t expected anyone to get hurt. But the reality was that his protective side had come out and he had simply been very easily distracted. The next thing he realised he was on the ground, Iowa holding him in a somewhat painful lock. “Okay, okay you win.” He conceded before standing up, giving a worried glance over to Alaska and Wash to see what the damage was. “Next time, you can fight him.” North said to Iowa with a small chuckle. Not that he really thought going against Alaska would give him anymore of a chance of winning.
Still in :)
Soooo... may we begin soon? :D
*High Five* @karamonnom for having the only character besides mine to be born with their disability AND to not have a tragic back story ^_^
