Bio

I'm an adult (most of the time) so I enjoy mature content and good stories. Most of the time you'll find me in some Sci Fi thing or another but I do sometimes end up in fantasy roleplays and ,in very rare occasions, slice of life stuff. I've dabbled in other sections of the GUild over the years but Casual Sci Fi seems to be my comfort zone. I'm probably the least intimidating person you'll ever meet and I'm always open to suggestions. I look forward to making some great stories with you all!

Plot

You are all dead. Somewhere, somehow, you died and you remember every last detail of what happened. It might have been a rather quick or peaceful death but more than likely you were in excruciating pain when it happened. Now you go to heaven right? Maybe you don't believe in that stuff. Regardless, you find yourself in what appears to be an unassuming apartment. You can even see the Tokyo Tower outside the window so you know you're in Japan, at least you think you are. You're not the only one there either, there are others who all look just as confused as you. In the middle of this room of strangers is a metal crate of some kind and a laptop sitting idle on top of it. After some time the laptop displays a message for all of you.

"You are all dead. You belong to me now. That's the way it is."

Summary

In this Roleplay you'll all be playing as normal people from many different walks of life. The story starts just as you are dying and takes place in Japan but not always in Tokyo. You'll be given instructions from the mysterious person using the laptop and that's when I'll introduce the gear that will be provided for the missions. At first missions will appear simple but not everything is as it seems.

That's the gist of the story. More will be in the OOC if this garners enough interest. Any questions are welcome. Ultimately looking for somewhere around three to seven people excluding myself as I find that any more than that can be unweildy. Standard Guild Rules and such. Just be cool (like the Fonz)
I'm interested but I have to ask; which iteration of Star Trek will you be pulling from TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager?
I have decided to make some changes and move this concept over to a different section so this thread is now officially closed.
I don't mind the wait, I'm just glad you didn't deliberately disappear without warning.
I've added my shennanigans for Feb 4, 2020 to my previous post to avoid clutter.
Hiya! I'm Midori and I have an unusual story I'd like to explore with someone fairly open-minded. If you're looking for some seedy romance novel fluff I'm sorry to say that's not why I'm here. I mention that you need to be open-minded because there will be some themes in the story that some people may take offense to or be uncomfortable with.

Plot Tease
Somewhere in Tokyo, Japan two people are about to die for some reason. Did they die trying to save someone else? Maybe they had an accident? Or perhaps they took their own life? Regardless of how you died you end up in a room with another person. The room is part of a simple apartment, the only thing in the room besides the two of you is a suspicious looking metal crate and a laptop sitting on the crate. You clearly remember dying yet here you are. And who is this other person? How did you even get here? As you ponder these questions the laptop on the crate activates and instructions start to type out on screen. Just what exactly is going on?

Because of the Guild rules pertaining to mature roleplays you'll have to inquire inside (PM me) as to the grittier details of the story but I can say that there will be plenty of gunplay, violence, and morally ambiguous decisions that will challenge our characters.
Finally got around to a post. Glad to be done with E3 finally and back home at least for now.
Lady Xephos

She did her best to observe the 'Shadows' as she slid down the slope towards them. At first glance they seemed to wander aimlessly through the burning town but she noticed that none of them were within arm's distance of any of the raging fires. Since these shadows are the absense of light it makes sense that strong light sources would disrupt these formless creatures in some negative way, useful information indeed. Suddenly all of them detected her at once. A shared consciousness? Or perhaps someone is controlling them? Thoughts sped by as she continued to streak down the slope and the Shadows suddenly charged forward. Saha took note of their movement, they seemed to be unhindered by the terrain.

In less than a moment they were upon her. The first thrusting it's ghostly blade straight for her heart. Saha was curious as to the effectiveness of their weapons but not so keen on testing them out. Instead, she dropped down underneath the malicious form, falling off of her makeshift sled, and tumbled a few feet before springing up into a sprint. She began to wonder if her haste to alleviate the situation had landed her in an unfortunate position as the Shadows quickly surrounded her. They didn't hesitate to attack as soon as they were close enough. Saha did her best to evade them but with so many surrounding her it was impossible to avoid damage completely. Every time Saha tried to counter she ended up striking clear through the enemy's ethereal body. It was difficult to compensate for the lack of actually impacting a solid object. It was clear that fighting them the usual way was not working and so she tried something different.

"LUX!" Saha thrust her hand palm up to the sky and a ball of light emerged. To her satisfaction the Shadows started to back off for a moment in what she assumed must have been surprise. Once they realized what she was doing they seemed to be much more wary of her. Saha increased the intensity of the light to be almost blinding to look at. They started to circle around her to see what she would do, Saha had recieved several cuts from the Shadow's blades though luckily none of them were life-threatening. Then after a moment one of the Shadows attempted to attack from behind. She moved quickly and landed an elbow in what she assumed was it's face and, to her surprise, she had actually felt the impact as the Shadow fell back and landed on the gorund slowly fading away as it lay there. It had taken far less hits than any of the previous Shadows to take down. It seemed as if strong enough light sources were indeed detrimental to these creatures. Saha was absolutely giddy at the discovery and satisfaction that her plan was working.
I have no doubt that Mika will end up in the basement. It's kind of unfair for the inmates since she was trained by a champion MMA fighter...
I was kind of expecting there to be a lot of daily beatings, rape, and other really terribly humiliating things going on in the prison to be honest but I guess I can keep it toned down if that's the consensus of the group.
