How's it going? :D

I'm the guy who's name you can probably literally see at the top right now, I'm also known as Nanite/Kighte/Nightin and some other names I might've forgotten about. I like a LOT of stuff, games, movies/film, literature (electronic or otherwise), animations (anime, western, everything in between), and comics (webcomics, manga, manhwa, etc.)

Besides the above, I also like to do a lot of stuff, namely: animate, make films, write code sometimes (not lately), write stories, browse along the net, and of course, RP XD

Feel free to PM me about anything, I won't mind suddenly seeing a message pop up.

Good day c:

That would do some damage.

I mean lessen the damage by blocking at least... forgot to add that

The monster isn't facing any way because he's spinning, but he was facing toward the trap when he started to spin and will end up facing behind him. If you try to block such a forceful blow it would shatter the bones of any normal human.I only have wifi in hotel rooms for the night time when I'm not busy helping getting things situated with the house.

The block was going to be for the probable explosion that Raen was probably gonna cause, probably ._.
I think it was in Demon's Souls where you could do that, though I confuse the two games often

EDIT: I think I was referring to the "partial-parry" that lessens the damage you receive, and prevents the knockback from even larger enemies like Sentinels. Though I don't know how that applies here, but I was just hoping to lessen the damage on Maybird caused by the explosion

You know I can't control the explosion without my ring so you would get hit too. Trying not to team kill here but if there is no other choice then I will kindly take your noble sacrifice and hit the monster hard. Seriously though, either way your screwed,

Its not a problem, take a look at my post ;D

I think that would be viable, I mean srsly tho, in Dark Souls, you could parry attacks from creatures at least 2.5 times your character's size, so I think my post would be viable? Although, we have no way of knowing since IN is gone for the week ._.
As Maybird struck the dagger, he was delighted to see it embed deeper into the beast's flesh, and better still, he could hear bones cracking, within the next moments, the monster then fell with a loud thud and right into the trap. At least, thats what Maybird thought would happen. The beast steadied itself with its left leg, just inches, inches before the trap! How frustrating it was! It was not over, though, far from it.

The beast then let out an extremely loud roar, which caused Maybird to instinctively close his hands around his ears. Now, were it not for his experience in Dungeons, he would be dead by now, as the beast spun with its axe bared, read to cleave through the poor man. Adrenaline started pumping into him, everything started playing out in a significantly slower motion, even himself, so this was the feeling of those meeting death the first time. His consciousness sped up, he could still observe the room. The beast's axe descending slowly, the glowing rune placed as a trap just in front of the beast, the man who set the trap's surprised expression, and another man in a corner, doing what seemed like preparing, as purple flames danced around his hands.

"Explode it!" Maybird yelled, not addressed to anyone in particular, and worded as short as it could be understood, yes, an explosion would be extremely sufficient, it would both save him, and perhaps knock the monster a few inches back and into the trap. Though he didn't know if anyone had anything even close to a force as powerful as an explosion that could reach his position within a matter of a second. One second,

Now, Maybird would time a barrier creation just as the beast's axe reaches at least an estimated, 1 and a half meter away from his head, it might not be powerful enough to stop the strike from cleaving through, but it might prevent damage unto himself if an explosion were to occur, nonetheless, it would at least mitigate the beast's strike. Even for a bit.
Awesome, that IN posted.

Well crap, I don't see how Maybird can survive this one without external help. If he went to boost away, he would get hit by the axe's blade, He can't roll under the axe's kill-arc since its too low, he can't jump-boost either, at that speed and momentum the axe has, even the blunt part of the handle would catch his shin/feet, giving him fractures there, AND spinning him in mid-air. Though, if people were to help, just getting its attention wouldn't change the predicament, since physics is already applied. The only way to stop this is to either block the swing, blow the monster away with something, blow Maybird away with something faster than his energy magic, or blow both away.

Raen, help! D:
We seem to be at an impasse, all the players that may move have already exhausted their turns, and the rest either can't move, since they're waiting for a strike, or can't do anything very useful in particular.

Maybird finished his turn
Same with Garrok, and Rick
Kenzo's luring the thing
Diescogito is preparing the trap
Raen is waiting for a chance to strike without accidentally hitting the others
and Jeremy can't do much right now, seeing as the beast is hairless

This leaves IN to write their turn and the beast's reaction to the current actions, but seeing as tomorrow is May 20, its gonna be a bit long. :/
Maybe he could like throw it to someone and they could use it better?
