Ahhh shit. Nvm Newsun.
The Eternal Verdance would have suited me perfectly, but its already claimed.
So then I'll just claim the Searing Wastes and use that. I can use that.

I'm probably going to add more Planes. PM me some ideas you had for demons. And a bilateral leadership would work, provided the sum power of the leaders does not exceed that of a singular lord of the others.

Excellent ^_^

*Creates cool setting with ability to make powerful inhuman demon lords and magical, unholy armies in vast, unique outer planar worlds**Saturated with Human applicants*

xD lol

I did want to play as a Demon Lord, but the plane I wanted was claimed :P Although the NS for it hasn't been created. Unless we could create minor champions within the ranks?

EDIT:: What Planes are left for taking? I'll go look.

We already have a whole bunch of Human players / champions. Is such a thing (even playing Human) vital to your plans, or can you work with different ideas?

It is vital to the idea. They'd essentially be two heads of the same faction. A Yin and Yang type of concept. But I figured having them control one faction would level it out.
I was wondering if I could make two human champions that are closely linked and play off each other?

What if they're sexy laws?

Laws are laws, and they are evullll even if sexy
Mortal Kombat!!! *queue the 90's theme*
@Enix: I love Animorphs. They recently put it on Netflix and I marathoned it all with my brothers.
It was crazy, I didn't realize how much of it I watched as a kid, but I pretty much remembered everything. I need to read the books. My older brother said they're much better than the show.

I think those are suitable constraints, and I guess to explain the function of the spell, both the spirit and soul of the caster are sent to the raven (so we don't contradict ourselves, regarding the realm's mechanisms). Therefore, the caster, when using the spell, is literally a sack of potatoes, until mind and heart are returned to the caster. With this, I would say the consequences of the spell level out the functions enough that you don't need a long casting time, perhaps just a few incantations and a short ritual, but nothing inconveniently lengthy. If you even wanted to go a step farther, you can have the spell exchange the raven's spirit for the caster's soul and spirit, meaning that while the spell is in effect, the raven has control of the caster's body, although it can't stop the spell because the raven-inside-the-caster still has no soul to do so. This is a bit of an extreme effect, but I can see some major RP potential, in regards to problems, if you take this step. "We forgot to tie up [the character] after they casted the spell. Now, the raven is going crazy and causing some problems." This is just a spontaneous idea I had; don't even consider it as a suggestion, unless you want to. Don't know why that'd even deter you, Tatsua. :p I've known you long enough to know that you're better than that, but you don't have to feel pressured to join. Do whatever you want.

Just to throw in my own two cents on the ability, remaining too long in the Raven's body could make the transfer permanent. The spirit could be overridden by the animal body, although I imagine the mind could be retained, but if the spirit was overridden by the animal instinct, he could be stuck in its body with his soul trapped. Kinda like animoprhs.

@Milieu: Atlas seems much better adjusted now; I formally accept the character. I'm glad the discussion idea worked out! :D

Awesome :)

I have some concerns regarding Castor's character as well. First off, he bears the last name of the D'Cerf? Is this just an adoptive name applied to those without a surname? (For instance, would Atlas be Atlas D'Cerf simply because he doesn't have an original surname?) Or is this the name of the High Priestess, and she passed it on, if so, wouldn't that mean succession would pass to Castor's character? Originally, I thought D'Cerf was simply a sorta clan name, applicable to anyone apart of it, like how American, is typically used to describe a person from the United States.
I might just be nitpicking, but I figured with all the detail put in to make things more succinct that it might pose an issue. Idunno though.

And the ability is kinda confusing too. Does the glyph making requires using fancy materials to boost the power of a spell? If so, why these particular materials? You mentioned, gold, silver, diamonds, bedazzlement- are these valued for magical channeling properties versus the toilet paper?
You also seem to use "rune" and glyph interchangeably, which are kinda synonymous, yet I think glyph suits your purpose for the elemental magic your character would be utilizing. What's the process to utilize it? Does he have an activation phrase? If so, is there a cool down on the spell? Or is the energy embedded in the glyph, via preparation ritual, and it has a one time use?
