So, looking at the remaining potential match-ups... For Isra, right now Diego is her only option, and I'm not sure if they'd work together. She's pretty quiet, he might see her as boring. EDIT: On the other hand, her schtick is that she's a wanderer in a cyberpunky urban wasteland - she thinks on her feet rather than meticulously planning things and she'd find social ambition to be kind of amusing.

For Erika, Gateway might be interesting? There's some contrast in their personalities there.
And here is my Doll.

Name: Isra

Gender: Female

Appearance: "Take care of yourself now, OK?" Under her mask her skin is pale with a slight grey tinge, and her hair is short and a little shaggy, a dark grey-purple in colour. The rest of her outfit consists of a zippered long-coat, light body armour, a skintight bodysuit and combat boots. She is shorter than average and appears to be in her mid twenties.

Personality: Isra has a perpetually weary air about her, with a soft voice and a watchful demeanor. She can apparently sleep anywhere, in any position, and will often seem to nod off while waiting against a wall or in a corner. Despite all this, she has a surprisingly nurturing, sisterly personality, taking pains to ensure her master is eating and resting properly and tending to their wounds however she can - she can't stand seeing someone becoming careless with their own body. She has a deadly fear of being without her mask and will only remove it to eat, or in dire emergencies. If it's damaged or stolen, she tends to fall into an almost berserk state as she tries to get it back or repair it.

Abilities:
- Isra has perfect night vision, and is much faster and more agile than a human. She is a skilled parkour artist and hand-to-hand fighter.
- Dark Prism: Her main combat ability. When she activates Dark Prism, she splits into two copies of herself. Each copy can act independently and are controlled by one consciousness. However, they can only hit half as hard and take half as much punishment as the original. She can dismiss one copy at will, though, and regain her normal strength. If one copy is killed, the remaining copy will remain, but will only slowly regenerate to her full power over the course of several minutes..

Weapons: A pair of hand weapons that resemble ice axes, with forward-curving handles and serrated blades. The blades have a spinning, glowing heat-orange effect around their edges, which burns anything it touches and chews through material like a chainsaw.
OK, here's my Master:

Name: Erika Matzkie

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Wearing something more period-appropriate, of course

Personality: Serious and methodical, Erika aspires to be the picture of a modern scientist – inquisitive, logical, well spoken, an intellectual. With a curious nature and an unending store of patience for study and research, she spends most of her time in her college’s library. However, she tends to get flustered easily in certain situations (Usually if someone mocks her height, if she’s thrust into fieldwork without warning, or in romantic dealings of any sort), after which her usual eloquence goes out the window.

Backstory: A scholar hailing from a long line of scholars, Erika was practically raised on books, her somewhat-absent parents often leaving her content with food and stack of tomes. After a fairly average childhood, during which she was a star pupil in her early education, she applied for a scientific college as soon as she was old enough, studying botany and ecology.

Skills: A fairly extensive knowledge of botany, her general intelligence.
You could also make some technobabble (magibabble?) about the effect being at its most efficient when emanating from a long, thin, round penetration. So you could try to make a sword or an axe or a bullet, but it wouldn't work well enough to kill the doll/puppeteer.
Question regarding my Doll Master idea: In Saulbine, how strange would it be to see a female scholar/scientist? Would academia be considered a traditionally male area, or the other way around?
*Begins bingeing thread*

I can tell you that I'm thinking of an adult female Doll and a teenaged female Master, for what it's worth.
I picked up on that, yeah. Awesome. I will have a read through the characters already accepted to make sure my own ideas aren't stepping on any toes, then see about signing up ^^.
Whoa, this looks interesting! You have got a heap of characters already, though, are you still accepting sheets?
Shona frowned, heartrate picking up a bit, as her sensors chimed with contacts. Nothing solid, but there was something out there. Oliver's intercepted transmissions popped up on her combined data-feed, and she glanced at them, silently concurring with the tiger's analysis.

And then there they were. Her first view of the enemy. Three decidedly makeshift-looking GEARs. Blade reported the main body had contacts too - that was a little disconcerting. Had the enemy managed to slip through the recon formation? Her map automatically updated with the positions of the two elements of Riders and the two enemy units. No, they were coming from an area off to the side of their sweep. Just bad luck.

She tapped one finger against her joystick, thinking. "Between Stone and me, only I'm configured for long-range." She said over the comms. "With the drone feed I should be able to set up a decent firing solution if we can get close enough, but I'm not sure if I can take out three GEARs that fast." She didn't say it, but she probably wouldn't engage yet if she had a choice. Better to wait and be in a position to help the main element if needed, and have the rest of recon at their backs for their contacts. Myrina had command, though, and more experience than her.

The bat continued to scan her eyes over her feeds, waiting for the call.
"Do it. Fan out, staggered line formation."

Shona's hands darted across her controls as she deftly set up the channel, allowing each of the scouting member's GEARs to use everyone else's telemetry for their firing solutions, streaming a collated version back to Blade and the Claw. That done, she returned her hands to her sticks and moved the Rapier into formation with the others, staggered out across the country side.

She noted with satisfaction that her machine's software automatically integrated Stone's drone feed into the rest of the stream - until she saw what he had decided to zoom in on. Balking, Shona had scrambled to cut the drone's feed out of the rest of the scout team's stream, but it had already gone out to Silver. She winced as the CO's angry voice came over the com - even if it wasn't directed at her, it wasn't a good start to the mission.

As more voices joined the chorus of annoyance, the bat just tried to keep her mind on the job, scanning the horizon with her optics package. Oliver didn't need any more berating anyway.
