"Take 'em down, Recon!"

Shona's GEAR shook as her rifle cracked, simulation shells zipping out across her viewscreen to "impact" the enemy machines - or, that would have been the case, if she hadn't been so nervous her first shot arced over her target's shoulder. Swearing under her breath, she quickly corrected, pumping another trio of shots downrange as the GEARs began to react. These caught her opposite number in the leg, the mecha lurching and falling in a heap as it tried to make a run for cover.

That'll do... She switched targets, concentrating her fire with Myrnia while that still had clear shots. The rumble of the near mortar miss could be felt even through her hull, and the bat's eyes went wide, darting over her scanners.

"Roger!" She replied, voice tight, lowering her rifle and wheeling around as her computer plotted another firing position.
As will I ^^
Alright, Isra is in ^^

I'm still not sure about how to get Erika involved, I kinda want to go with something other than "randomly mugged by a puppeteer". Any ideas, Amaya?

@ Vita: Well, AA seems interesting, I wouldn't mind seeing another one if you don't want to keep it a secret ^^
Isra (with Diego)

Strands of purple light winked into existence behind the woman, tracing out a shape in the air, a complex septagon of violet energy. The moment the last connection was complete the outline filled with black glass, unfolding from nothingness in triangular panes until it the black mirror hovered a foot above the cobblestones. Then the glass rippled, and as casually as a one might step down from a train car, a figure crossed the threshold into the world and dropped down to the alley floor, a long black coat flapping with the motion.

Isra took in her first view of the human world with a glance through the faceplate of her mask, her glowing purple eyes soon falling on the pair struggling on the ground before her. Eyebrows coming together in a frown, she took two steps forward, planted her gloved hands on the woman's shoulders and heaved, turning on one heel to toss her target down the length of the alleyway with inhuman strength.

"Stay behind me if you don't like dying." The Doll's voice was soft and insistent in the still evening air, slightly muffled and filtered through her mask as she tossed her future master a glance. A spitting hiss filled the air as she deftly drew her axes, the glowing serrated blades leaving trails of light as she spun the hafts around her hands and advanced down the alleyway with measured steps.
Yeah, sorry about that ^^; Like Ardent, I don't often find people who've read Worm who didn't find out about it from me, so I tend to get chatty when I do. I'll take it to PMs if any other worm-readers feel like continuing.

(It's a really well-written superhero/supervillain web novel, BTW. You guys should check it out ^^)
@ Ardent: Oh yeah, Bonesaw is somewhere on my list too. And I mainly include MM because of her general attitude, the same reason I really like Weld, Chevalier and Legend too.

Defiant is in there somewhere too, for his character development.

*Is also an official Dragon/Defiant shipper <3*

@ Rin: Sorry, I've never seen go-busters ^^;
@ Sickle-cell: Yep ^^;
It really is an awesome setting! I had also started setting up the groundwork for a Worm RP on another site, but then RL started whacking me with the schedule stick ^^;

No. 1 favorite character is Dragon, no contest. After her, It's harder to rank =P. Weld, Miss Militia, Skitter, Clockblocker, Dr Yamada, Tattletale... I could go on.

Also, I now realise that there are people here who will recognise where I got the idea for Isra's power from >.>
I do indeed read it! I'm actually halfway through my first re-read ATM ^^
... do I spot another Worm fan? 8D
