Name: Sakuya Bowen
Age: 23
Specialty: Scout-Sniper
Origin: UEA native
Service: Five years of service in the UEA Mobile Armor Corps
Backstory: Growing up, Sakuya was always a rather sickly child. She was far too young to remember the war, but she remembered its affect on the people around her. Growing up in the countryside was dangerous sometimes, so Sakuya's father was quick to teach his daughter how to fend for herself, even if she was in a wheelchair. It was only due to a brand new (and morally questionable) medical procedure that Sakuya became healthy again. Wishing to follow in her father's footsteps, she joined the UEA's Mobile Armor Corps, where she excelled in her use with a rifle. She was eventually selected for Scout-Sniper training, and spent several years in the role with nothing going wrong... until two years ago. While investigating reports of a small UC force trespassing on UEA territory, she and her partner were ambushed, and only Sakuya returned alive, if requiring an extensive amount of medical procedures to bring her back from the brink of death. She volunteered for the second round of the Driver Program, and hasn't looked back.
Description: Usually calm, quiet, and observant, Sakuya has multiple issues that may or may not be related to the augmentations, namely recurring nightmares and night terrors. She is among the more professional of the Drivers, though she's not above being snarky or passive-aggressive towards her teammates.
Infantry Loadout: Argus-20 anti-materiel rifle (anti materiel rifle chambered in 20mm, effective against infantry, light armor, and equipment);
Coppherhead Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) (close-mid range weapon, highly customizable for whatever mission is needed; effective range is roughly 100 meters, depending on attachments);
combat knife;
Tarnhelm-class exoskeleton (semi-powered armor utilized by scouts; in addition to providing physical protection and a small boost to physical abilities, Tarnhelm armor muffles the wearer's infrared signature, and is treated with a photoreactive compound that, when exposed to an electrical charge, bends light so the wearer is nearly invisible; this ability must be used sparingly, as it lasts only a short amount of time and requires a relatively long time to recharge)
Lancer Loadout: GSR Railgun Sniper Rifle (high-density rounds are propelled by electromagnetism faster than the speed of sound; sensors and cameras located near the front of the weapon smart-link directly to a Driver's HUD; built-in AI assists in lining up accurate shots);
Ravager-class greatsword (slow and heavy, but delivers powerful blows, and can be used as a shield in a pinch);
Inquisitor cathode pistol (Lancer-scaled handgun that fires electromagnetic energy);
molecular knife (a last-ditch weapon that, with its ability to vibrate at extremely high frequencies, can cut most organic substances all the way down to the molecular level)
Driver Reference: Has trimmed her hair to regulation length and no longer needs a wheelchair, but still looks like this.Lancer Reference: Norn Bravo; slightly smaller than the average Lancer (if only by a few meters), what Norn Bravo lacks in aerial combat ability (as it's limited to thruster-assisted jumps and gliding without an external module) it makes up for in stealth, tracking, and scouting capabilities
