Name (must be a Disney character): Megan "Meg" Van Dyk
Nickname(s): "My friends call me Meg, at least they would if I had any friends."
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Twelfth
Appearance:
Personality: Meg is a cynical individual, to say the least, with a sharp tongue and an even sharper wit. She is outspoken and sometimes quite humorous, but she sees most as merely a means to an end. Due to her unpleasant circumstances, Meg has learnt to be quite manipulative at times. She is strong-willed, and stubborn, and hates to appear weak in front of others, and so keeps up a hard, sarcastic front that deters most from seeing her as a friend. She is tough, and charismatic, but can be very blunt at times.
Hobbies/Facts/Orientation (whatever you can think of that might be noteworthy):
~ Meg is terrified of heights.
~ Meg's teenage mother gave her up to an orphanage when Meg was just a baby, and so Meg grew up in the foster system. She was adopted when she was two, and lived with a family for three years, until they had their own child, and she was sent back. By that point, she had missed her chance at a permanent home, as children older than three are rarely wanted by wannabee parents. So she grew up in the foster home, and, when she was nine, suddenly met her Aunt. Her aunt was an unpleasant woman, but, upon the death of her sister, -Meg's mother- from alcohol poisoning, felt that the best way to carry on her sister's memory was to take care of her child, despite in reality wanting nothing to do with the child. Meg more or less cared for herself over the next six years, as her aunt, Adele, worked long shifts at the local diner. Meg had developed a habit of shoplifting, and she was quite good at it too. So when she got caught, she knew she was screwed. When suddenly, Alec showed up. Five minuted later, Meg found herself side by side with this handsome stranger, getting grilled about her 'lack of expertise' and her 'slack'. Alec was nineteen, four years her senior, and it wasn't long until she fell head-over-heels in love with him. They shoplifted together, burgled together, and even scammed together. Poetic, no? However, about a year and a half after their first encounter, Alec got into drugs and gambling. He began to go down the drain, and soon enough owed money to all the wrong people. He needed to get out, and so he and Meg decided to run away together. Meg went to 'Hades', a big-shot with a knack for making people 'disappear', and asked him to help, promising to pay him back. Meg and Alec planned to meet at the train station. Meg would bring their things, and Alec would bring the IDs and the cash. But when Meg showed up, Alec was long gone, taking the money, and their new lives with him. She was left to take care of the debt, and continues to work for Hades in order to pay off what she and Alec owe him.
