Aliya walked along the crystallized mana paths in the Leyline thinking about the mission Azurius had just tasked her with. If she wanted to keep the power that allowed her to research this place she would have to do this mission no matter what. Part of it didn't sit well with her. She wondered if she was even strong enough to fight a Celestial like Azurius requested. She gave the mission to Aliya rather than one of her generals. Aliya couldn't help but think there was a reason she trusted her with this mission instead. As it is, given the state that Mombi was in, there was no way she could get in without the help of Volarius. The Leyline point was way too guarded and the city was now surrounded by mountain peaks too high to scale and too expansive to traverse safely. She had no choice but to see if there was any way Volarius would be able to at least help her fly in from above.
Aliya stepped out of the Leyline closest to Gaylette, the city of wind. She almost tripped over someone as soon as she did. She narrowly avoided the young Wind Seraph. “My bad!” She laughed it off and bounced on down the hill towards the city. She could have stepped out in the wind shrine, Locasta, but she didn't want to seem intrusive given the tense times during this war among Fae and it kept her ability secret. At least the city was in view from the Leyline point she chose. She quickly made her way through the city, trying to avoid unnecessary attention. Volarius has been rather neutral in the war so just about anyone can be in the city and it made her a bit nervous.
She asked one of the Fae guards where she might find Volarius and they said he was atop the shrine tower. She looked up and sighed. She has to climb the steps to above the clouds. One of those times she wishes she was a Wind Fae.
She was rather in awe of the tower as she climbed. The architecture was amazing and a brilliant culmination of Wind Fae Magic Artes and human ingenuity. She slowly forgot the trouble of climbing the steps as she studied the architecture. When she reached the top she was in awe. The shrine itself offered the most beautiful view. Clouds stretched on for what seemed like forever. They looked like hills of fresh snow. Some spots over the ocean were clear and the water sparkled with the sun rays that bounced off it. The air was nice up here, perfectly clean and surprisingly warm.
“I can only imagine why a Water Seraph is here...” A voice came to her before she even noticed the Celestial before her. He looked a lot like Azurius. Their faces were so similar but instead of the blue that adorned Azurius’s curly blonde hair and filled her eyes, Volarius had a pale green. He had a very similar stoic expression as she did but his had an air of happiness behind it unlike Azurius’s underlying sadness. “You can tell Azurius I'm not going to change my mind.”
“My mission for her may bring me here but she is not the one who sent me,” Aliya bowed her head out of respect.
“Who sends you then?” He looked at Aliya with a bit of curiosity.
“I bring myself, this was my idea to come here and request something of you,” Aliya took a deep breath. “This war cannot continue. It's causing so much strife among Humans and Fae. The Darkness alone as a result has turned countless of our kind into Fomorians. Even if you'd rather stay out of this conflict that can't sit well with you!”
“What do you want?” His voice held a bitter tone. He never wanted to be a part of this. He knew whatever she wanted involved having to choose a side like so many others have wanted.
“If it is in your power I'd like for you to drop me into Mombi from the sky…” she felt winds swirling around it made her uneasy. If he wanted he could just as easily throw her off. “I seek to end this conflict once and for all. I'll knock some sense into Turfirius.” Aliya hid her nerves with her confidence in her mission. However when Volarius started laughing at her she couldn't help but feel silly.
“You think you can fight Turfirius?” He shook his head. “What a joke!”
“Azurius seems to think I can!” She grew bitter. She had the utmost faith in Azurius’s decision.
“That is not what I asked,” he glare at her. “Child, if you do not believe in yourself, you're sure to fail.”
“So are you refusing my request?” Aliya pouted.
“Defeat me and you will find out!” He stood at the ready for any attack she might throw at him.
Aliya looked skeptical about this. She knew she needed to test this power she holds. If Azurius believes she can defeat an Celestial then she needs to be able to win this battle and get her passage to Turfirius.
“Wander in frigid mist! Perish to frozen fangs! Frigid Photon!” Aliya cast a spell to freeze Volarius in place. So she can cast her next arte, “Burning red, freezing blue, hail in tandem! Violet Storm!” A glyph beneath Volarius, as well as red and green wisps, which briefly float over it. The wisps then turn green and blue, facing toward the Volarius, and rush toward them, resulting in a large, violet swirl that launches him into the air. Aliya then launches off the ground and punches him with and ice infused punch. Knocking Volarius back but not down.
“What a shame. It's simply not enough…” Volarius brushes off the dust from his clothes before raising a hand up. “Come, divine wings! Swarm the skies! Sylphystia!” A storm of bladed feathers, fall from the sky striking Aliya. They then create a triangular crest on the ground, exploding it in a burst of wind. Knocking Aliya back towards the stairs. Aliya could barely stand back up. “You aren't strong enough to defeat a Celestial. I will not help you to your death. Now leave. I will not aid anyone in this war.”
Aliya bit her lip and punched the ground out of anger. The ground cracked widely under her force. She got up and simply jumped off the edge. Her heart raced as she dropped through the clouds. She waited until the ground was in view and she could see where she'd would land. "Forces of nature, pierce through the heavens! Diffusional Drive!" Water formed a pool below her and came up to greet her slowing her fall. She landed easily and stormed back into town. She stopped in an alleyway, somewhat away from the noise of the street. She leaned against the wall and slumped down. “Lady Azurius, I need help…” She sent out a quiet prayer looking up at the sky while sitting against the wall.
Name: Aliya
Race: Water Fae
Fae Name: Ameyascu Navjewew (Aliya the Wanderer)
Tether: A dagger and later Erik
Gender: Female
Age: 536
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 130 lbs
Appearance:

Personality: Aliya is full of attitude, she isn't afraid to speak her mind, if it needs to be said she'll say it. She's very knowledgeable about how the world works thanks to her research and will give out this information willingly despite any usual taboos among Fae. Aliya likes humans but has a tendancy to mistrust them at first meeting. She is very devoted to Azurius and always speaks fondly of her.
Weapon: Fists
Fighting style: Aliya is an expert with Fae Magic Artes. She has great healing abilities and can utilize her artes to make a weapon if she needs it out of ice. However when it comes to physical attacks she usually prefers to use her fists. She fights up close using martial artes involving mana-boosted punches which can cover up to mid-range when she layers water and ice into her punches. Aliya’s specialty is breaking through defense of her opponents with both speed and power behind her fists and artes.
Fae Artes:
Freeze Lancer - Water/Earth - Aliya creates a glyph in front of herself, from which multiple blades of ice are launched at the enemy in varying patterns, often invoking fixed linear trajectories or aerial bombardments from varying angles
Ice Reaver - Water/Earth - Aliya conjures two ice swords beneath the enemy, angled at 45 degrees, that close in on them.
Frigid Photon - Water - Aliya sends a snowball floating in a straight line that, whether it comes into contact with an enemy or travels a certain distance, bursts into an icy, spiked structure, which then shatters after a few seconds.
Frozen Forge - Water - Aliya creates any weapon she likes out of ice that will deal several blows before it breaks unlike most of her artes that break in one hit. If she needs to use something other than her fists she'll use this arte.
Aqua Split - Water - Aliya fires a water projectile at the enemy. Upon impact, the projectile splits and also damages enemies to the sides of the initial target. It can also poison enemies.
Flood Wall - Water - Aliya conjures a line of water on the ground beneath her foe, which bursts several times with a wall of water.
Diffusional Drive - Water - Aliya summons a small pool of water, from which liquid orbs rise into the air to pierce through enemies, and ends with a small healing effect.
Violent Storm - Fire/Water - Aliya conjures a glyph beneath the enemy, as well as red and green wisps, which briefly float over it. The wisps then turn green and blue, facing toward the opponent, and rush toward them, resulting in a large, violet swirl that launches them into the air.
Malestrom - Water - A whirlpool appears over a large area of the battlefield, dragging all enemies into the center and causing damage.
Guard Decay - Void - Aliya conjures several colored spheres that strike the enemy in a spiral and explode in a burst of the same color, breaking defense.
Fairy Circle - Water/Wind - After Aliya executes the spell, four butterfly-themed fairies appear in the center of the battlefield and symmetrically fly outward in a spiral pattern until they reach the edge of the battlefield, creating a detailed glyph printed full of runes and leaf-like patterns as they fly. Once the glyph has formed, spheres of light rise up, purifying all party members restoring their HP and curing them of any status ailments before finally granting them a stat boost in Attack, Defense, and Magic. While party members are being cured and boosted, the circle also damaging every single enemy in the glyph.
Elixir Vitae - Void - Three white circles at slightly varying angles appear around the target, white wisps surrounding them and mildly bursting. Removes all status ailments from an ally and greatly restores their health.

High Artes:
Frozen Ascension - Water - This attack creates several columns of water that rise up from the wave created by the preceding spell. The water and columns are subsequently frozen, encasing the target in an icy structure. Aliya then walks toward the nearest pillar and then knocks on it causing it to shatter.
Accel Finality - Water - Aliya begins with one arm pointing up and one pointing down. She moves both by 180 degrees to form a glyph, in which ice knives appear on the outer ring. Aliya directs her hand forward, causing the knives to shoot from the circle and attack the enemy, subsequently moving outwards in a circle formation. Aliya then directs her hands upward, causing the knives to pick up the enemy from below and move it into a starry sky in which a glyph appears, formed by the knives which then return to Aliya. Finally, the knives spin in turn with Aliya, and the glyph erupts with a strong light beam aimed towards the earth, inflicting damage to the target caught within.
Ice Cold Fury - Water - Aliya creates several weapons from ice that rains from the sky to rain down upon the target. She grabs one of the weapons and hits the target so hard her weapons break, repeatedly, attacking from all directions. After making the final hit, the target is snared in a burst of ice, that she breaks with the last ice weapon on the field.

Bio: Aliya was created from the Leyline point in the Billina Plains. She always had a tendency to travel and had a curiosity about things in the world and how it works. Over the years her curiosity about the Leylines grew so she focused her research on the Leylines. She went to Azurius in order to ask for an Arte that gives her access to the Leylines. She made an oath to Azurius to serve her faithfully in return she can come and go from the Leyline points. She tends to have issues finding a tether that can allow her to travel that doesn't deteriorate so she frequently has to look for a new one.

He took up rather rebellious deeds in the criminal world going by a new name instead so as to not bring shame on the name his family wanted to protect. He managed to win his Mana Gun in a bet against Zephyr, the Fae doesn't remember due to drinking, and Zephyr has been trying to get it back since keeping Erik always on the move.

Height: 6’1”
Weight: 154lbs
Appearance:

Personality: Lance is very charming and eloquent. He always knows what to say and how to make any situation better. He's a great strategist and well versed in ancient knowledge. Lance is always very calm even in tense situations, where he will often make jokes to ease the atmosphere. Even though he appears to have an ever-gentle expression, he can deliver a piercing gaze with his eyes, indicating that he can be very serious when the time calls for it.
Weapon: Spear
Fighting style: Lance wields spears in battle. He does not physically carry his weapon in battles; rather he produces it seemingly from nowhere and then sends it away again after finishing his attack thanks to a Fae Arte. His combat tactics are a bit unusual, frequently including kicks and palm strikes as well as surprise attacks with his spear. He is an expert in Fae Artes and frequently casts complex artes rather quickly.
Martial Artes:
Lion's Howl - Earth - Lance slams the target with extreme force with his palm, creating a blast of energy in the form of a lion's head, which forces all nearby enemies to be blasted away and knocked to the ground.
Earth Drake - Earth - With his spear, Lance performs a powerful full-spin swing to the left, emitting a line of yellow energy bursting with rocks.
Hurricane Thrust - Wind - Lance thrusts his spear forward to send a projectile force of wind shear at the target.

Crown Fire - Fire/Wind - At first, a few wisps of wind circle around the enemy, then suddenly burst with fire, damaging enemies in a medium area while launching smaller targets into the air.

Around the glyph's rim form twelve vertical icicles in midair that fire upward. Lance then strikes his staff upward conjuring a large, swirling pillar of water beneath his target elevating it into the air where the previously launched icicles surround it from all sides. The icicles then strike their target forming a spiky ice formation.
Spiral Ascension - Wind - When the arte is used, Lance, with his spear imbued with electricity, stabs the enemy three times and follows with a swing to launch the enemy into the air. Lance then jumps and spins, slashing the air to produce a cyclone of wind and electricity that propels the enemy further into the air. Finally, Lance performs a diving kick through the enemy.

Finally, she causes a glyph consisting of the four elemental colors to appear around him as he gestures with his arms to emanate forth streaks of supreme power.

Bio: Lance is the Arch-Druid in what remains of the Abbey. He's always been a natural born leader and rather talented in utilizing Fae artes. He travels around trying to deal with the Darkness produced as a result of the war among the Fae. He has a strong Guardian Field that expands far so he allows his tethered Fae to roam free but he can still use their powers to cast artes.
The four Celestials have awakened. The world is shifting at a rapid pace, islands are becoming continents, ecosystems are changing, cities rise and fall. The Fae have yet to fade from regular humans perception. Unfortunately the Earth Celestial, Turfirius refuses to give his protection to humans any longer and is causing conflict with the other Celestials, specifically Azurius, the Celestial of Water, causing disaster all over the world.
Aliya is a faithful follower of Azurius, she sets out in search of aid from the other Fae and willing humans to put a stop to the trouble caused by Turfirius and other Earth Fae.

“Do we have to?” Livid pouted strutting around the hall with her hands behind her head. “They are all such buzzkills! Let's just go to the bar!” Livid heard a meow and looked around to see a small cat with faint stripes among fur of sepia tones looking up at them with large celadon eyes. “Awe! It's a kitty!! So cute!” She bounced up to it like a little kid. Livid adored cats but the feeling wasn't usually mutual. She'd still try to say hi regardless.

Hansa took a deep breath of the fresh outdoor air and tilted the robotic foot back and forth and rolled it. He was excited to be able to stand up again. He bent the knee of the leg that was in the air. He wanted to be sure these new legs would listen to him.
“Well, what are you waiting for?” Eve smirked watching him test out his new legs.
“Can't be lazy forever kid!” Yoki cracked a smile. “Not if you want to be a Huntsman.”
“You sure it's alright?” Hansa suddenly felt nervous. “It seems a bit soon don't you think?”
“As surprised as they are the Doctors okayed it! They seem to be working just fine,” Eve waved it off. “But wait.. You aren't scared are you?” She peered at him skeptically.
“No way!” Hansa jumped up. He almost lost his balance but quickly caught himself. “These feel a lot lighter than I was expecting!” Hansa giggled happily as he lightly tapped the ground with his new legs.

“Well if I lost mine I guess that means no luck for us!” Hansa laughed at Charon’s comment. “Sorry if I startled anyone. I guess I'm so used to it now even if it's only been a bit over a month. I kinda forgot it might be a bit weird to see.” He looked around among his team and could see, to some degree, what they were like when they were unsettled. He made note of each one, Glas was stunned, Kaldyr takes a second to process, and Charon didn't seem phased by much.
“Ah! Yeah!” Kaldyr brought his attention to the fact he didn't properly introduce himself. “Hansa Agouti, at your service!” Hansa did a half wave with a smile. “But feel free to call me Han if you'd like!”
Hansa smirked as he laid down. He was so excited to have some friends his age that weren't all about killing to get their way. It didn't last long as he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Hansa awoke to the sound of his scroll going off but it wasn't an alarm. It was a call. He groggily answered and quietly said, “Hello?”
“Han! You little punk! You made leader?!” Eve's voice came yelling out of the scroll. “How was initiation? What is your team like? Hope you are making friends! Certainly hope your team gets along better than either of mine. Ohhhh! I'm so proud of you!”
“Eve can you not yell?” Hansa yawned as he sat up. “I just woke up…”
“Oh yeah it's a bit earlier over in Vale, sorry!” Eve giggled. “At least I don't catch you in class.”
“Yeah I need to get ready how about I call you back later and we can chat, if your mission doesn't keep you,” Hansa droned on trying to wake up a bit more.
“Nah, we'll be here the rest of the day!” Eve chimed happily. He could tell by her tone that wasn't the plan though.
“Are the others on your team going to be cool with that?” Hansa looked completely deadpan.
“They don't have a choice,” Hansa could hear the smug tone in her voice. “Later!” She hung up and Hansa shook his head.
“Well leadership went straight to her head,” Hansa sighed. Hopefully I don't end up with attitude like that... He looked to his sleeping team and checked the time and realized she called long before his alarm went off. He tried to be quiet little is said for Eve though. She wasn't on speaker but almost sounded like it. He yawned again as he reached for his legs on the side of the bed.

&

Eve was relieved to hear he was feeling alright. She was growing rather attached to these new teammates of hers, even if she'd only known them less than a week, even if they didn't feel the same. They were her team and she was ready to do what it takes to lead, even with the learning curve.
“Not me,” Eve shrugged at Marlin’s flask inquiry. She glanced over at Yoki.
“Don't look at me!” He scowled back at her. He looked at Livid and so did the others.
“What? I ain't left this bed yet!” Livid raised her voice. She glared at everyone before flopping down on the bed and burying her face in the pillow. “Screw all of you!”
Eve sighed and glanced at Rhythm knowing he probably wouldn't and was confirmed by a simple shake of the head. She then glanced over at Diana before deciding to declare it either the doctors or just lost to the street.
“Livid Tumbleweed,” Livid pointed to herself rather dramatically. “You sound pretty hardcore Kitty-cat! So you and Red are Foxy and Stardust’s replacements for King and Heart. Hopefully you don't end up like them.”
“I knew I told you!” Yoki lifted his invisibility to reveal he was sitting in a chair in the corner of the room. “Why didn't you tell your brother?!”
“Yeah!” Rhythm looked his head around the corner. “How could you?!”
“I didn't want to deal with you being all blue,” Livid scratched her thigh uncaring.
“You should have told me if you knew!” Rhythm raised his voice as he stepped in the doorway. Livid shrugged and Rhythm sighed exasperated and looked over at Eve. “Is it too late to lock her up?”
“It's never too late for that!” Eve poked her head in with a sinister smirk. That smirk turned into a sweet smile as she looked at Marlin. “How you doing? You alright?”

“My brother knocked my ass out,” Livid replied with a bitter smirk. “Feels like a concussion. Been in enough bar fights to know.” Livid's eyes looked over his bandaged arm with a spot of curiosity. “You look pretty wrecked, Kitty-cat.” Livid nodded in his direction, “How exactly does one do that with a punch that didn't hit anything?” Livid couldn't help but laugh at the last part. “Also why would such a fine cat like you bother saving someone as lame as Stardust?” She stuck her tongue out in disgust. “What you got the hots for her or something?” She never could stand Eve. Even after she saved the twins, Livid couldn't stand her. She felt her brother was more or less taken from her with how much he changed. Part of her just wanted to beat her once to take her down a few pegs.

Eve saw Diana's cue and bounced on over but stopped upon hearing Livid rambling. Being nosey she decided to linger a bit. She leaned against the wall outside the door. Rhythm leaned in next to her being just as nosey. Eve realized Yoki vanished. She thought he might have left while they moved in. She shrugged and listened in.

&

“Yeah,” Eve nodded in response to Diana. “At least for a while. We don't want him to overwork himself.” Eve glanced through the doorway with a sour expression at a happily sleeping Livid. “Why does she have to be so difficult?! Ugh!” She walked over to the bench in the hall and sat down.
“She's always been that way,” Yoki shrugged. “You really expect her to change?”
“Rhythm did!” Eve pointed at the quiet man in the middle of the hall. “For the better might I add!”
“That was like 20 years ago.” Yoki was completely deadpan. “If she was going to change it would have happened already.”
“He has a point,” Rhythm laughed lightly. “She has always been stuck in her ways. I've tried but Livid is Livid.”
“I just wish she wasn't so infuriating!” Eve growled. “I'd have her arrested if I didn't need her!”
“So who's muscles and miss intimidation here?” Rhythm pointed over his shoulder at Diana.
“They are our new teammates!” Eve perked up. “This is Diana and the sleeping tiger is Marlin."
“New team?” Rhythm cocked his head in confusion. “What happened to that yummy husband of yours and your brother? They decide to retire or something?”
“Or something…” Eve trailed off.
“I thought you knew,” Yoki looked a bit surprised. “Rufous and Cyrus were killed about 6 months ago.”
“Why didn't you two tell me!” Rhythm looked more upset than he sounded as he glared at both of them with a dead serious expression. “No wonder I haven't seen you two in a while. You said killed. Who did it?”
“That's sort of what we wanted to talk to you about.” Yoki shrugged. “We need your help on finding out what he's up to.”
“Then spill it!” Rhythm crossed his arms. "I want to help you catch that bastard!"
“Well we found out recently that he and his organization have ties to the White Fang here in Vale,” Eve explained. “He's been attacking them but it sounds like they were working together. If you can I'd like you two to find something out if you can.” Eve stood up and walked over to the room Hansa was currently sleeping in, “Speaking of the White Fang, there's this kid that's been held against his will and we are trying to get him out. I'm worried someone might target him.”
“White Fang or otherwise,” Yoki added.
“After Marlin recovers a bit more we are heading to Mistral to find his sister so do you mind keeping am eye on him for us?” Eve put her hands together in a pleading manner.
“No problem,” Rhythm smiled.
“Awesome!” Eve cheered. “I'll introduce you to him in the morning.”

Livid woke up her mood went from good to annoyed in no time flat as she remembered what happened. She rolled over away from the voices in the hall and rested her head in her hand. She saw Marlin sleeping in the bed next to hers and smirked. She didn't get a chance to check him out while fighting Eve given the fact he self-destructed. “Mmm, yep. One sexy kitty.”
Eve caught Diana's gaze amidst her combos against Livid. She stumbled unable to maintain her focus with such an uneasy feeling. Livid back handed Eve stunning her even more before kicking her away. As Livid hopped back on her board she spotted red out of the corner of her eye. She looked at Diana and felt terrified. She let out a slight screech unwillingly amplified by her semblance. She didn't activate her headphones and she stopped quickly.
“Damn Red you scary!” Livid was about to attack her when she heard a familiar sound of music. She looked over with a smirk which turned to a fake pout. “Rhythm! Eve attacked me!” Livid noticed Beat Wave in full cannon form. She smirked thinking he was going to attack Eve and friends until she was blown back and slammed into the wall knocking her out.
“I really doubt that,” Rhythm shrugged as Beat Wave turned back into a backpack. He sighed and looked around at the damage her little instigation caused. “Sorry about her...”
“Rythym!” Eve stood up and bounced up to him with a smile. “It's been so long.”
“She deserves just about anything you seem fit, Eve,” Rhythm shook his head looking over at his unconscious sister.
“We'll figure that out later,” Eve glared over at her.
“Marlin, doesn't look so good at the moment,” Yoki knelt down by Marlin. “I called for a medical transport. They should be here soon.”
