"Um... Joe. There's a cabin, right over there, it'd probably be for the best if we were to stick together. After all, we don't want them to be searching for the both of us all night if one of us goes wandering off and getting lost." I rubbed the back of my head awkwardly. After trying so long to try and get away from them, it was kind of weird that I was saying "Hey, let's wait for the others to find us".

I looked over at the office door and then back at the doctor. I raised my ax and brought it back down in the center of his head. I just wanted to be sure. I didn't know the rules of these things. Were they like the classic zombie where if you get bitten you get infected? If so, then I definitely did not want him to bite me while I was busy searching through the office...

I turned around and walked down the hallway to the office door. I noticed the bloodstains on the walls of the office. I slowly and cautiously stepped into the room, doing my best to ensure that nothing got the jump on me.
Is this dead?
I panted softly, looking at the now dead doctor... or... well... maybe dead again...? I don't know. I took a deep breath, walked over to the doctor, grimacing, and then pulled the ax out of his head. "Well, this'll take some explaining." I looked at the now bloody ax head and backed away from the body, wary of it not actually being dead, but rather, stunned.
I thought that I saw movement behind the trees. I might be able to get the drop on it if I'm careful enough. I took a deep breath and walked out of the cabin slowly, doing my best to make sure that the door doesn't squeak too loudly and alert whatever's hidden behind the trees. I slowly crept around the cabin the scythe resting on my shoulder, as to make sure that it doesn't make any sound in case I accidentally let it hit the ground or drag and alert it.

I crept behind the trees, staying close to one of the trunks. It was pretty dim, but I could make out a figure. I took a deep breath and silently crept behind it, making sure that my feet avoided any leaves or sticks. I brought the scythe up as I got within range and then I recognized the figure. "Oh, it's you." It was that boy from before, the one that wanted to talk to me before we had been attacked. "Is everyone dead?"

@Letmehaveone2

Sorry guys, just got back from my orientation, I'll post right now.

[EDIT]

Oh, yeah, Joe's pretty quiet, used to sneak up on people all the time without meaning to. Unless he was feeling somewhat mischievous, but that's pretty rare. XD
I did my best to try and wrestle it away from him. But, I could already tell he was stronger than I was. I was having far too much trouble getting it out of his hands. So... I let him have it.

I twisted the ax, making the blade face him, yanked upwards with as much strength as I could, so then it would be level with his head. Then, I shoved forward, trying to bury the ax's blade into his head, with his help, of course.
And Joe's gonna be alone with Jyden. This is gonna be fun. >:3
I'd imagine that it's getting close to midnight in the RP. XD
I shivered softly and zipped up my jacket, I put my hands in my pockets and yawned softly. There wasn't really much to do in the cabin. Well, except explore the basement, but I'd really rather not do that... then I thought about it. What if someone were to attack me while I was waiting here? I didn't have anything to defend myself with...

I got up and walked over to the corner where the farming tools were. I picked up the scythe. It was old, the blade was dull and rusted, but it was something. I could at least cause some kind of damage with it if someone were to try and attack me. I walked back to the desk and set the scythe against the wall next to the desk. "I feel... a little bit safer I guess."
