Viral didn’t know how much further he could take his recovery at this point, whether he would be able to go all the way or if there was going to be a certain point where it would completely stop and he’d be stuck in a constant state of illness like he apparently had been for the last couple decades or so. He didn’t know whether he was going to notice a difference or if everybody else would be the ones to call it out for him. Not really agreeing with what Vegeta believed he frowned, staring down at himself for a moment before sighing and folding his arms. “I just need to be able to eat and sleep properly again and I’m fine. I don’t need much else done for me when the rest isn’t a big deal…” he sighed, not really agreeing that the priority should be everything as soon as possible. He was a little tired of all this medicine and these treatments were where were truly stressing him out. Looking off to the back of the house he frowned slightly, his eyes going back to Vegeta before he decided to head on to the clearer space. “I doubt you’d have to worry about me ‘letting loose’ my strength, anyway, nor will I be firing my attacks so the most damage I can probably do is throw you into something…unless you decide to fire stuff at me, instead…”

T’charrl had been wondering when he was going to get some company again and no sooner had Yumi approached him was he feeling better again. He was still pretty sore and not completely better, but to have someone to talk to made him feel warmer inside. Smiling as she sat beside him he quickly looked back to the flowers, raising his shoulders slightly. “Y-Yeah…I mean, I was given some medicine, so I should be better soon even without help”. He didn’t have his medicine with him, it was all the way back in his room but he had taken some recently and wasn’t in need of any more anytime soon. Feeling a little nervous he gasped when Yumi offered him a flower, taking it with the tips of his claws as he turned to look at her, curious to what she was asking of him. “You want to…hang out with me?” he asked, soon smiling, “Y-Yeah! I mean…I would like to do something, if that’s alright with you. I don’t know where to go here or what to do, I might end up getting in trouble here. I heard there’s a lot of monsters out there who might want to eat someone like me and to go by myself seems a little risky. I remember when we came here I went to a flower field, but I don’t really remember where it is very well. I mean…it’s hard to remember things like that when a building falls on you”.

Shu gave a little nervous giggle before looking away hastily, not sure what he was supposed to say. To talk about Krom and anything relating to him was a little tough and he did know he was supposed to be thinking positive, but it was always hard regarding Krom and anything that he was essentially failing at. Sighing lightly when Takeshi tackled the subject of him doing badly as well he lowered his head, wondering if he had failed Takeshi by making him feel as if he was the one who failed. It wasn’t fair to force that kind of thought onto him, seeing how he was the one who had been jumping around all stupidly. “No! You no did the wrong thing! Not know either! Learning would had been good for me to do so there would be no failing, yes? To learn how to fight good…” Not really knowing what he could say to defend himself he stopped when Takeshi did, staring at him for a moment before looking around as if wondering if this was where they were destined to stop for just now or if Takeshi had spotted something of concern. Not really finding his answer he squeaked when he was brought closer to Takeshi, staring up at him. He didn’t really know how to feel about Takeshi talking about his transforming, considering the fact he was talking about when he got really big. “Umm, I-I haven’t done that in a very long time. Not even look at moon just in case it full…” he spoke, not feeling entirely sure where he was going with this, “My Oozaru isn’t bad or wrong because-…because I fluffy? I don’t understand. Is there full moon coming soon?”
Viral was still struggling to try and combat his fear of eating, especially when it was complete unnecessary at this point. He had the serum if he ever did show signs of attacking and if things were to go wrong like he would get sick then there was surely some medicine for that too. Maybe he just feared being all weak and brittle, like it could be avoided if the very thing that could make him potentially ill was never given to him. He was going to be weak and brittle without food, but even if he tried to think through that his mind continued to subconsciously go to being paranoid over the food over thinking he might get better. Watching Vegeta eat so effortlessly made him a little mad, but it wasn’t as if he could get around that kind of thought pattern when being able to eat without a second thought was something he couldn’t do quite yet. Sighing as he looked down at the plate again he slowly picked up a piece of steak, holding it in his claws as he frowned. “The galaxy isn’t all it’s cut out to be, though. You are all in so much more danger than you would otherwise be on Earth”. It was his fault essentially for trying to spare them the horrors of further attacks on Earth, but dragged them into it too. The moment he was out of Saiyan control Yumi ended up paying the price as Earth was attacked, his deal with them being broken. So much trouble he had caused. Closing his eyes momentarily he let out a groan, eventually opening his mouth and tossing the piece of meat in. Swallowing the chunk as soon as it hit the back of his throat, coughing aloud afterwards. That felt generally pretty awful and was certainly able to make him feel a little sickly, but he had to keep going for his own sake.

Krom let out a groan, disliking how little regard Takeshi had for others. He was acting like a proper baby about it too, seeing how he was all mopey and grumpy over the very thought of helping his people get through hard times. The Saiyans were not a massive group, there was very few left and they always looked up to a proper leader, even if Yamate’s family was practically elected into royalty because of status. “Are you really scared of a challenge like leadership? Or do you just want people to suffer? There’s children who could use a role model to look up to who is not Yamate, someone who is not a ruthless warrior”. Krom knew he wasn’t that kind of material, especially for children who are being forced to grow up the same way he grew up with. Maybe Takeshi will eventually see the Saiyans needed someone who was different, maybe to encourage a healthier lifestyle. Hearing Takeshi finally make a decision on what he should do for Shu he folded his arms, sighing lightly. “Your tail is not your leg. If you’re determined enough to have a tail again, it will grow back…but, seeing how you don’t really care, you shouldn’t care about that too”, he sighed, looking away to the broken door, “It is your friend’s turn to be trained, seeing how your brother ran off with that doctor…”

----

Viral was feeling pretty terrible for a fairly long time after eating that food, probably due to worry above anything else. He didn’t know what he was supposed to feel after all of that but it was certainly not a pleasant feeling for a very long time. Without anything happening to him and with Vegeta and Aito happy that he had managed to eat he could only hope he wasn’t going to have to put up with anything else that was going to end him through stress. Sitting around in a bit of a mood he looked to Vegeta who reassured him nothing bad had happened, giving a grunt in response. He was certainly a little moody but that was because of how long it took him to get over the stress of eating. Sighing lightly, he slouched before his attention was taken to Vegeta who made a further suggestion, staring at him for a moment before looking off to the side. “Hmm training? You are certainly confident in me, huh…” he sighed, scratching his cheek, “If…you truly are confident in me and not pulling my leg…then fine, I’ll try some training, seeing how I stomached that food you gave me…”

After spending so long in the hospital T’charrl was quite frankly feeling terrible, even if they had done their best to make him feel better. The nurses had done their best to make him comfortable and with him being the last one to be released they were certainly worrying over him quite a lot as time went on. He had taken quite a hit back on the other planet, so much so that he had used a lot of the energy he had gathered during the battle to keep himself alive. That building would’ve killed him otherwise so he was lucky to even be alive. Despite being released he was still feeling pretty terrible and everyone was busy so that didn’t help his mental state. Sitting down near a small garden patch he stared at the flowers, feeling particularly lonely before gasping when he heard someone calling out. Looking up and around he spotted Yumi, staring at her as she gave him a wave. “…Oh, uhh Yumi! Yumi…I-I’m feeling better, yeah”, he spoke, rubbing his claws together briefly before he gave a little smile, “I am feeling sore, yeah. They didn’t really know how to treat me properly because of what I am, so it was hard…”

Shu thought he had done alright with that play therapy Aito set him up with but he didn’t know what he was supposed to do fully quite yet. He was feeling unsure about his current progress in play therapy typically because he got carried away when trying to play out what he did with his brother, but there was a lot that he was hesitant about. Shu was pretty certain he would get better at the play therapy, but he didn’t know what was in store for him either. While Aito had stopped his play therapy for this time on Takeshi’s request he didn’t understand what he was supposed to be doing, wondering whether Takeshi just wanted to train with him or if they were going on some sort of adventure. Feeling a little nervous even if it was Takeshi he stared at the ground as Takeshi spoke, his eyes soon wandering to the trees. “Oooh, umm…training with Krom? He always been strong, though. Only reason he left us alone last time was…umm…a few things…” He knew it was because of him changing and Viral getting taken away that Krom had left them alone, but he didn’t feel comfortable mentioning them. Feeling pretty curious about this whole trip he stared at the trees, squeaking when Takeshi gave him a nudge before he turned to him. “Huh? Tough? Me? I don’t understand what to talk about, though. Is it because of me trying to train…? I tried, I did…really did…”
Viral wasn’t sure how he’d handle the food but he knew Vegeta was probably going to end up getting fed up with him and end up trying to force the food down his throat using psychological terms. He was probably struggling more with trying to show he could do it to someone and would probably be alright trying to eat if he was by himself, but then again last time he ate by himself he might as well have had a collar on him and be tied to a post. “Hmmm reject? I don’t think I’m going to have much of a chance if that happens…” At worst his body would completely shut down and his struggle against the illness would continue to persist, only making things even worse and possibly ending in his body completely shutting down. He was pretty worried he would never be able to find a way to return to his normal state, whatever that was like again. He couldn’t remember what it was like to feel ‘normal’, worrying him greatly every day. Reaching over to the food he picked up a piece of meat, staring at it for a moment before looking to Vegeta. “…I’m sure you’re hungry too…so you should eat as well. Maybe I’ll be encouraged by you eating along with me…”

Krom was already starting to think through what he would be doing later on for Takeshi’s training, seeing how he was the one who was already making the most progress. Those twin Saiyans seemed to have a technique down so that was all fine for them, then there was also the Elite noble they had. If anything the noble could learn how to utilise his full Saiyan strength since he had a tail still, unlike Takeshi who seemed to had lost his a while ago and still hadn’t shown any signs of wanting it back. “The future of your race means nothing to you? Without a figure to look up to, havoc ensues. They are already struggling to survive enough as it is, don’t you want a future for them or do you want to ditch responsibility constantly?” Takeshi just showed absolutely no desire to help the Saiyans despite them being his own race. His race needed protecting and someone to look up to, but Takeshi seemed to disregard all of that and act selfishly. Grunting when Takeshi decided to snap at him he gave him a sharp look, staring at him before sighing. “Well I don’t know! Why don’t you go talk to Aito about it instead?? He knows about the kid’s problems, it’s just a matter of you helping him with them considering he’s your brother! You’re going to have to be the one to help him, especially after you nearly pissed your pants just because he was sat beside you…”

Shu gave Yumi a staring at as she explained how to fight the large and muscular, finding it informative even if a little difficult to imagine. It was the hitting them down that stumped him considering if he couldn’t hit them hard enough they wouldn’t be defeated. “Ooh, just got to work out how to hit them all the way down after that, huh?” While he wasn’t sure how strong he would need to be to defeat someone by using his speed he was pretty certain he wasn’t anywhere near that kind of strength anyway, seeing how weak he was really. While he wasn’t supposed to be concerned with how strong he actually was he certainly did wonder how he’d do with training with Yumi, hearing her suggestion. “You will? Ooh! Maybe show how to be fast! Not been fast enough to catch Krom yet…” While that all could wait, now was the time for him to be trying this play therapy thing Aito was wanting him to do. Feeling slightly overwhelmed by the toy chest he looked back to Yumi at her suggestion, his eyes quickly going back to the chest. “Favourites? Oooohhh but there’s so many!” Sitting down in front of the chest he quickly started to look through it, trying to find toys that appealed to him. Giving everything a good analysis whenever he picked out a toy, he started to place them in a little pile consisting of a few plush toys of various cartoon animals of Uunoue and a few action figures of some strange aliens, most likely heroes from other planets. “These fine! These do? Hopefully they okay!”
Link was probably more annoyed at the fact he was having to walk around with this man with someone who would never understand why he had so many problems with him in the first place. It was not easy to explain why they were suddenly allies, but the past wasn’t going to disappear that easily even if he was to stop talking about it completely. He was sure there was going to be a betrayal involving this guy, but probably nobody would believe him because they weren’t the ones in any danger. Regol couldn’t defend himself right now against such accusations, but that didn’t mean it was going to be making Link feel guilty. It wasn’t as if Regol had tried to make it up to him anyway, considering it was his life that was on the line whenever he attacked.

Listening to Caelan he frowned as he made it sound as if even he wasn’t going to be understanding of his situation, making him out to be the bad guy here. He should probably remind him of what he just said about Regol, but that was probably not going to get through to him as well if was so supportive of Regol being all redeemed and all that. “You don’t understand. It’s just-…it’s just always happened and backstabs happen all the time too. It’s hard to trust those who wanted you dead and would do anything to cause great pain to you, especially when they can’t even talk or show they are truly going to leave me be”. Maybe he would never understand because he had been fine for most of his life, or at least it appeared to be that way. Caelan didn’t appear to have any problems and even took up the life he wanted to, but problems always followed him around and he always found it hard to cope.

Hearing Caelan groan at his plight made him feel a little hurt immediately, his eyes quickly darting away as he was proceeded to be told off for believing in fate. He didn’t know what he was supposed to say to that and was just finding it hard to defend himself, especially when the fate that was told to him was one that came from Demoko. Caelan’s idea of fate was completely different to what his fate was supposed to be, it sounded like he was getting wishes mixed up with fate which was something that was completely out of his control. Letting out a groan as he stared at the ground he slowly shook his head, disliking how weak he was making him sound to other people’s decisions. “But-…but-…look, the problem I have…I-I have been trying to take it into my own hands, but turns out I can’t change the future”, he spoke, finding it hard to explain himself without giving too much away, “Demoko still sees the future being out of my control. I don’t want all this to happen, but he says it’s going to anyway. He can see into the future. I don’t even think you can understand what is in my destiny to say all that to me…”

To Link it felt as if Caelan was becoming fed up with his problems, like he might end up getting slapped for being like this. It was hard not to worry over the future when he had been previously told he wasn’t going to be able to control what happened and was going to end up becoming a god of calamity anyway, just like his past incarnate. All people probably saw of him was a whiny brat who was just complaining for the sake of complaining, but so much stress was resting on his shoulders and with no outlet he was just going to keep talking about all the bad things that was eventually going to happen. He didn’t have Nayrin to help him through it anymore, she had become too injured to continue with them and even though she could recover he didn’t want to drag her further into messes she didn’t have to be a part of.

Upon arriving at their destination Link was feeling particularly jaded about his quest to come here, staring at it at first before sighing and heading in after the others. The number of masks surprised him quite a bit, but why there were so many of them he couldn’t guess. Slowly heading over to one of the walls he stared at the masks, looking through them before picking one off the wall as Caelan tried to call attention to someone who might own the shop. These masks were strange, especially the one he had picked up. It looked like a fox-like creature but had no visible eyeholes. He was certainly interested in these things, but he couldn’t figure out how they were a good way of making money to help support this shop.
Viral knew this was going to be one of his biggest challenges yet, even if it was simple with near enough everyone having to eat eventually. He couldn’t last on solar energy forever, especially when his muscles were so weak and probably looking worse for the wear. He was not certain about his future regarding this and was just as well trying it now and seeing what happened later. If Aito and Vegeta were able to stop him if he got out of hand then that would be good for them, but bad for him. He didn’t want to go mental after eating again and was about ready to give up on his journey to becoming better altogether if this was just going to go so awfully wrong. Staring at the food as Vegeta sliced it up he slowly looked to Vegeta as he spoke, deeply frowning. “If I am unable to get started, just start shoving it in my mouth”, he spoke before he looked away, folding his arms lightly, “I am not sure if I am just going to end up rejecting the food. It’s hard to tell whether the medicine is strong enough to stop me from going mental too. Hmph, who would think something as simple as cooked flesh would be the hardest part of this…”

Krom didn’t think he’d get it through to Takeshi even if he continued to try and force it into his head that strength wasn’t what turned the tide in a battle. There was always going to be different types of strength whether it was speed of intelligence, but Takeshi always seemed to like the thought of getting stronger because that was the best solution. He knew from experience that it was not and even if it took a long time to get it through to Takeshi he would still continue to drill it in every time they trained. It was his goal to get them to fighting standards and do the job the King assigned him to, not much else to it. “Hmm, maybe you will be a good Prince after all. Not soon, but eventually…”

As he looked away briefly he was soon brought to look back to Takeshi, frowning when he mentioned his brother’s problem again and how he might have to approach it. It was a complicated subject and a rather difficult problem to fix, especially when the kid was so sensitive about it and having all these people around him unable to help him just made it worse. Narrowing his gaze when Takeshi seemed to come to a conclusion he eventually sighed, shrugging lightly. “Well, it’s not normal for Saiyans, but for him it’s normal so there’s no way to cure it, you know? It’s not something you can do, though”, he sighed, scratching his chin, “There’s probably a way to tell him, but to tell him he’s an abnormality is probably not the best way to go about it. What he needs is some control, not chaos that comes with being told he’s a freak. You’ve never had to be told you’re a monster, have you? Even your planet is familiar with Saiyans considering the history our kind have there…”

Shu wasn’t sure if he would ever get some muscle, mainly concerned with looking really out of the ordinary if he ever got it. He was a little Saiyan and to have a little Saiyan with a lot of muscle would probably look fairly weird. The most muscle he probably had was in his tail, seeing how it was a little thicker than some of the Saiyan tails he had seen where they were quite happy to wrap it around themselves and never use it at all. “Ooh! How you beat them…? It sounds scary!” he squeaked, disliking the image he was conjuring from it, “Miss Yumi very strong, yes! If I did that, might end up running away because big scary people…” Being dragged along by Yumi he felt pretty happy over the thought that he would be getting fruit after this, even if he was supposed to be training. He probably wasn’t going to get much use out of training if he could barely land a hit against the one who was supposed to train him, thinking he was probably not cut out for training if that was the case. “Ooh! Yeah! I want fruit and I want cuddle, okay? I feel bad after today. Shu’s not very good at training…”

Shu was feeling a little better about this play therapy now that Yumi was here, feeling he hadn’t spent enough time with her to feel relaxed. He was a little scared that he wasn’t going to be able to get through it, but now that Yumi was here he might be able to feel more relaxed about being near Aito who was still a bit of a stranger to him. Staring at the door as Aito gave a little warning about the state of his room before peaking in as he opened it, tilting a little to the side to see inside. It certainly looked rather busy with a lot of stuff he didn’t really understand, but when he saw the toy chests he bounced on his toes. Smiling happily, he listened to Aito before looking up to Yumi, taking little bounces towards the chests. “Ooh! Ooh! We pick toys! Not seen so many before!"
Viral would rather learn how to tolerate a weakness than to have something that is essentially just holding off the problem, even if the problem was he didn’t have a clue how to tolerate the technology that was used against him. He didn’t want to encourage Vegeta to experiment on him with technology that would probably put him at a much higher risk of being injured if he relied on it too much. “I’ve already told you I don’t want to end up with a utility belt full of stuff and if you had your way with me you’d have all sorts of stuff stuck to me…” He knew there was a lot of problems he had to carry because of what he was, but the solution couldn’t be constant gadgets. He just wanted to be strong without all this constant need for external assistance, even if it probably wasn’t the wisest idea to rely on something that he had to have faith in himself. Groaning at Vegeta’s high self-esteem he simply looked away before being prompted by him that they had arrived at their intended destination, his eyes going to him quickly before to the spot he had chosen. He really wasn’t looking forward to this and simply watched as Vegeta sat down, frowning before he slowly made his way over too and reluctantly sat down by the tree as well. “Okay great…just great”, he grumbled, looking to the tray before sighing, “You know I already feel completely disgusted right now, like my throat is ready to close up and reject this stuff…”

Krom wasn’t going to play around with Takeshi if he asked for him to get serious and he was quite alright with showing him he wasn’t kidding when he held the title. They always thought he was weak just because he had been testing the kids before, even if the youngest had managed to scratch him up pretty bad. Shu was very strong when he was unleashing all his rage, probably too strong for that much anger to be unleashed all at once. He didn’t think Yamate could handle Shu very well considering how quickly he made the kid Takeshi’s problem back on the other planet. “It never mattered. All those stories of pure strength winning are all exaggerated. All the ones that used only their strength all failed in the end! The winners had much stronger forces behind them”. Takeshi certainly did try to rely too much on strength to win and that was always what screwed him up. “Good…heh, you know, maybe you’ll soon realise we’re not all that different like you may think”.

Laying off the kid for now he eventually looked back to Takeshi when he questioned the Shu problem, finding he was carrying a lot of worry with him about his brother. “Hm, so you do know it’s not normal”, he spoke, folding his arms, “The problem is the longer the truth is held from him, the worse the impact will be when it finally hits him. Maybe he’ll come to realise it on his own and that will make it easier for you, or he could end up fearing everything about himself and hate you for not telling him. Maybe he’ll figure it out for himself gradually once he realises the reason those scientists of Yamate’s were experimenting on him by trying to desperately gain control of his ability. Imagine that kind of strength under the control of those who wish to see how much destruction they could cause with it…”

Shu let out a squeak, his fists shaking momentarily. “I-I guess so! Takeshi always want to get muscle, so I thought that make you strong”, he spoke before shaking his head, “Very strong and much muscle! Thought Saiyans were like that, yes? Many Saiyans have a lot of muscle! But Shu no need that?” Shu didn’t know what he was supposed to believe, but if some people like Yumi could have no muscle mass and still be considered very strong then maybe there was some truth in it. With shaky hands he was certainly a little nervous, but having Yumi there might help calm him down. Smiling up at Yumi when she pet his head he raised his shoulders a little, squeaking when his stomach was prodded. “Ooh! Make-believe? Pretend? I guess so, just no want it to go bad…” Looking to Aito quickly he gasped when Yumi grabbed his hand, staring at it as he followed her along. He did hope it wasn’t going to be that bad, but with Yumi reassuring him that it was going to be okay he gave a little smile. “Ooh! Yes please! Play and fruit! Yummy food!”
Cecil didn’t know what he was supposed to think towards seeing someone he had never met before. He had never been in that scenario, even when it came to meeting Norman considering he had to find someone who could help if he was to remain online. It wouldn’t be right to get all excited over someone he had never met knowing they may not actually be alive, even if chances were they probably were still alive. He didn’t know if it was just him who thought like this, but when you had no social skills whatsoever regarding normal society it was a little hard to imagine meeting someone and having all sorts of fun with them when he had no idea what they were like or if they even liked him back. So many people had shown they didn’t like Machina so it would be no surprise if Amuné’s parents were like her when they first met him and seemed startled that he was a Machina and not an actual living person. Giving Ethan a side glance at the subject he soon sighed and simply nodded, finding it just too difficult to respond accurately without sounding like a complete downer.

With Nymira trying to talk to him now he felt confused by her initially before guilt sunk in, knowing he was the reason they were all travelling together on the run from who knew what. He didn’t know if that guy they encountered on the bridge was all part of it too, but he was certain he was the cause of the attack back there. He did want to say something about it but Nymira was quick to tell him his problems were forced on them only making him feel worse about it. “I wouldn’t want to wish that on anyone I know, even if they’re the first people who have ever wanted to get to know me. I am not well received by others”.

While he did have doubt over his place in the world he still had a desire for friendship, even if other Machina probably didn’t feel the same way. Staring at Nymira for a moment his eyes soon started to wander when he thought she was done with him, only for her to come up with something that sounded rather strange to him. “Huh? But…huh?” He didn’t understand what she meant by ‘rank’ or how that granted her authority over everyone else when it came to decision making, all of it simply sounding strange to him and fairly unlikely that the others would take that well. “You leave me with little chance of making a choice for myself with your inability to take a possible ‘no’…”

Cecil had been thinking about it the entire way and when they finally stopped to set up camp he did forget that is what normal people did when it got dark rather than continuing on. He was often fairly forgetful about their desires to stop to rest, seeing how many hours it wasted out of the day. Night time wasn’t all that dangerous if you could see what was happening, but turns out their own batteries seem to die down when the light disappeared. It really confused him but he was still willing to keep trying to understand how they worked.

Watching as everyone started to get settled down his eyes wandered, wondering if they were too much out in the open to be here for so many hours. Sighing lightly as he moved close to the fire he looked off in Nymira’s direction before gasping when his name was mentioned, turning to Ethan. Something about setting up a tent, whatever that entailed. Looking to Amuné for an answer to what that was like to set up a tent it didn’t sound like she was really wanting to do it either and was even questioning Nymira’s role. She was not helping by being all the way over there, that was for sure. “Are tents dangerous? Is that why she is all the way over there? Is she scared of the concept of setting up a tent? Did she give orders to do these things?” He was feeling rather confused, especially after what he was told when they were travelling. She didn’t appear to be leading anybody or telling the others what to do, he thought she was wanting to be the leader too.
Viral growled in annoyance, trying hard not to snap at Vegeta for simply not getting what he was saying. It was hard to say he didn’t like the thought of having to rely on technology to survive, especially when Vegeta seemed so into it. “It doesn’t matter how it looks or acts or whatever! It’s the fact I would have to rely on it to be any good on the battlefield against weapons like that! It’s just frustrating…” It was probably difficult for him to understand because he had his little fascination with technology and probably wanted to use that fascination to test his ability to create. It was frustrating to have that laid on him already just with Vegeta confessing his desire to undertake engineering over anything else. It was unlikely Vegeta would ever understand why it was an annoyance to have that laid on him, that his suggestion to have a piece of technology stuck to him would ever annoy him. Feeling rather annoyed already he sighed when Vegeta was back to trying to control the situation, folding his arms as they walked. “Hmph, it doesn’t matter what I protest, you know you’ll always think you’re in the right with your suggestions”, he sighed, looking around the area, “Let’s just get this over with. I’m sick of the constant metallic taste in my mouth…”

Krom smirked; so it seemed Takeshi didn’t know that it was abnormal. Shame for him for teaching Shu that it was a normal thing for Saiyans and for Aito enabling too. That kid didn’t know anything at all it seemed which was slightly disturbing, knowing how the kid might feel if he ever found out he was an abnormality. Not wanting to get into more trouble with the rebels and Aito, however, Krom decided against telling Takeshi knowing he would start acting funny around Shu, ruining their plans. Concentrating on teaching Takeshi a thing or two about focus he didn’t hesitate to strike him hard, managing to hit Takeshi once more before kicking him away. Hearing Takeshi get frustrated after collecting himself he grinned as he only just started to lose it again, punching the floor in frustration. Sighing lightly he folded his arms, shifting on his foot. “You always completely forget I am the King’s right-hand! Of course I’m going to beat you if you insist on a challenge”, he spoke before he sighed, shaking his head, “As for weak, you don’t have to be if you just take heed of what I’m teaching you and focus. This training isn’t only for those monsters, but because you need to get stronger in general. There’s so many opponents out there that don’t use raw strength, those days have long gone. Power levels and all that…all complete nonsense nowadays. You want real strength? Then you’re going to have to listen to me”.

Shu didn’t know if he was just being humble but he was fairly certain he was not in the strongest, seeing how strong everyone else was compared to him. He didn’t get jealous of others for being strong, he just acknowledged it and was quite alright but not as good as everyone else. While it did make him a little sad that he could barely defend himself he still tried to see it as something not to be ashamed of. Looking to Aito when he tried to make him sound better than he probably was he gave him a little smile back, his gaze quickly dropping again. “Oooh, that sound like a big thing for me to be. I would like to feel better too, though…” he squeaked, pressing his fingers together, “I don’t know about powerful, I mean…I am little with no much muscle”.

Shu was too busy staring at his hands to see Yumi appear in the corridor, letting out a squeak at the sound of her voice. He hadn’t seen her for a while and immediately started bouncing on his toes, staring up at her with shaky hands. Yumi hadn’t popped along to see him in a while so it was always nice to see her, smiling up at her happily as she spoke to Aito. This was nice and hearing how she wanted to join him for his little session definitely made him happier, hoping things were going to be less nerve-wrecking if he had Yumi with him. “Ooh! I would like that. This all making me scared already, don’t want that. It play therapy thing! Not sound scary, but Shu be scared anyway…”
Cecil did wonder what it would be like in the city, whether it was anything like he imagined. He didn’t know what he wanted to do in the city or what he might be looking for, but he imagined he’d be able to find out once he got there just what path was set for him. He didn’t feel he really had a choice, plus he heard there was a lot of people with mechanical parts like him so that was pretty encouraging. He could fit in a lot better in a city and with so many Machina that should be there he was sure there was going to be nobody staring at him or questioning why he looked like he did. He was sure he was going to have an easy time there, so long as he didn’t talk about being a Machina. He did hope he would also lose those people who were after him too, but even then he did have an increasing doubt that he was going to get into trouble there too. The place could be swarming with those guys and that would be especially bad. He hoped he wasn’t making a bad decision with this, he was really hoping he was doing the right thing by wanting to go in that specific direction.

Making a glance over at Ethan when his number was counted in a conversation he stared at him for a moment before looking away again, watching everything pass by. “Uhh, you know I don’t really eat”. While he could eat, he didn’t get anything from it and might end up sluggish and smoking as he burned the food and that would be rude and possibly disturbing to people who didn’t know what he was. While it would be nice to see her family, he felt he might be rude being there and not doing anything other than sit around and watch as they all ate. Come to think of it, he didn’t really know what a mother or father really was to someone. He was told they were similar to a creator, but to him they sounded a lot kinder. It made him wonder really, maybe even a little jealous of the living.

Sighing lightly he didn’t really know he was being looked at until he heard a strange noise, his eyes turning to Nymira immediately. Staring at her as she spoke he glanced to Ethan and Amuné before sighing, feeling like she was starting to investigate now. He didn’t know if she liked him or not because of what he was, making him feel a little uncomfortable. “I, umm…met them when I was in trouble. People wanted to take me away and I accidentally hit them while I was running. I guess they…got dragged into fleeing with me. I don’t know why they wanted to stand up for me, because umm, because I’m a Machina and all”.
“Of course it would be a hassle! What if it just happens to break or something breaks it instead? What if I end up breaking it?? Having any sort of technology on me is always going to be a disadvantage no matter what it’s going to do”. Viral really didn’t want to have to have lots of different things on him all the time, he shouldn’t need any of this stuff that was being proposed to him and what was worse was Vegeta sounded like he was actually considering it. “In case you didn’t notice, I don’t have my belt when I transform. Hmph, I don’t even know what my third form is, nevermind getting an addon for my belt to help me last in a fight…” He didn’t have confidence technology could help him with his weakness either and there was always going to be flaws too so that didn’t help. With little confidence in technology that he was unfamiliar with already, he didn’t think such a thing would ever work for him. “Hmph, good to know you’ve always thought machines are your calling. Can see why you’d want that”. He wasn’t wholly surprised Vegeta had enough of him and wanted to move onto machines, especially when engineering often meant being alone. Just what he needed, to be alone again. Giving Vegeta an angry glare when he grabbed him he soon let out an annoyed sigh, looking away. “Fine! You pick the spot. I don’t care about where I sit or whatever, so…it’s just better to be far away from this place…”

“Heh! You’re absolutely sure you’re not? Guess you got lucky with finding your brother, even if the child becomes pure evil when he changes. Maybe it’s evil to tell him that happens to all Saiyans? Who knows, I’m not the one reinforcing that belief…” Krom wasn’t going to hold back against Takeshi if that was what he so wished, knowing it was probably for the best anyway to show him he wasn’t kidding when he was fully capable of teaching them all to get stronger. It wasn’t as if he was in the wrong, it was Takeshi who wanted this and if Aito just happened to come back to him and saw Takeshi bleeding on the floor; besides, he had witnesses what with that rebel and Frost Demon nearby. Moving straight in to Takeshi he moved with such speed and hit so hard that he managed to completely outdo Takeshi and punch him right across the face before crossing another hit into his gut. He wasn’t going to go easy on him, if he wanted to be challenged then he was going to give it to him. Watching as Takeshi made a poor attempt to kick he didn’t even block it, letting it hit off him before smirking. “Are you already regretting your wishes??” he grinned before throwing a punch one way before spinning around quickly to deliver a kick.

Shu did wonder if he was going to have nightmares after this game of theirs, feeling he might end up a little traumatised if he was unable to feel better about what happened. There was so much that could set off the bad dreams and he did hope he wouldn’t have to think about the stuff that made him incredibly uneasy. Pressing his fingers together briefly he looked up at Aito, frowning at his words before looking away again. “Oh gee, I hope I haven’t been making him think like that. I just wanted to help and get stronger too…” He had been training with Takeshi for so long that he didn’t think it wasn’t helping all that much. Sighing lightly he soon looked back to Aito, staring at him as he questioned how strong he thought he might be. “Ooh? Oh, Miss Yumi is very strong. I think she stronger than me. She kill massive giant before! Shu could never do that! Friend T’charrl could fight Krom so he very strong too, can’t even do that. Everyone so much stronger than Shu, even Takeshi’s friends. They train a lot! Mister Viral is not well, but he always much strong and fight giants too. No think Shu is as strong as everyone else, that seem strange to think if possible”.
