@shylarahIt was his first real normal interaction and now nobody wants to touch him. He's quite the sad little robot now and doesn't even understand what he saw or why he did all that for everyone to be angry or scared of him.
Shu didn’t know how they were going to do in the lift until it started moving, his eyes watching the panel curiously as if seeing that as the part to be worried about if something was to go wrong. Everything seemed to be okay so far and turning around he watched the walls curiously, finding it most strange how this machine functioning. It seemed handy that they were able to see where they were going, but it seemed like such a long way to travel considering what the facility apparently held. He didn’t expect it to go this deep so that was pretty surprising. As it finally came to a halt the vibe he was feeling just beyond the doors ahead made him feel quite uneasy, like it was all familiar stuff from here on out.

Half expecting Viral to do the same thing that he did to the door before it seemed to be Yumi who was going to try and open this one, but she was going to be taking the calmer route it seemed. That was quite pleasant in a weird way, as if trying to be safer about how they were going to enter. Maybe there was some alarms that might go off, but when Yumi ripped the panel off the wall he doubted that she was concerned with alarms at all and just wanted the door to open. Sighing lightly, he smiled nervously in hope that she knew what she was doing before squeaking when the doors suddenly opened. Staring into the room he couldn’t help but feel that everything about it was wrong, like the place was made specifically to cause misery. Feeling incredibly hesitant and scared he looked up to Takeshi who tried to reassure him that everything was going to be fine, staring up at him with a frown before he moved on as well.

Viral had been fairly patient with Yumi doing her own thing to open the door before he decided it was time to get on with everything as the door opened, his eyes searching the room for possible soldiers wanting to ambush them. It was oddly surprising that the place seemed fairly empty of hostiles, but then again this place was not the kind of place anybody wanted to be in. It was oddly horrific to look at, as if it was recently abandoned and everything had just been left on. Giving Yumi a quick glance as they continued on his eyes soon went to the cell blocks lining the area. What a horrible flashback this place was turning out to be and what was worse was there was probably thousands of these things within the entire facility with many waiting to be filled. Letting out a groan as he tried to take his mind off his own past memories he turned back to Yumi who was trying to understand how the system worked, approaching her slowly as he looked down at what she was attempting.

Well it seemed like it was his turn to take over and see if he could figure out how to work the panel, taking a look at it briefly as he tried to see if he could do anything to fix it; however, seeing the screen this had been done on purpose and just as he turned around there was only a brief moment left of alert before it all ended when a force suddenly jabbed him in the joint of his shoulder. Whatever it was had hit hard like a bullet and pierced his skin, his paw reaching up to it but soon he was starting to feel awfully strange as he gradually started to feel colder than normal and slightly dizzy. Looking to Yumi as she rushed to his aid he stared at her before quickly looking to see who was talking, his drained look turning into slight annoyance as if he recalled the man from somewhere.

This was not good at all. He was feeling pretty terrible as if he was going to pass out at any moment but he kept strong and standing, his paw once again reaching around to the dart and pulling it out. Holding it out in his paw he looked to Yumi who quickly questioned his health, staring at her before quickly looking back at the scientist who was very eager to tell them just what exactly it was. Growling lowly he quickly dropped the serum and started moving towards the scientist, his claws ready for an attack before he suddenly collapsed onto his hands and knees. Shaking and gasping he found his body in a moment of pain, his paw going to his head before both of them were grasping it as he remained bent forward. He tried to speak but couldn’t, he felt paralysed yet still able to feel his body. Gasping in seeming pain he soon slowly stood up, breathing heavily as he stared at the floor looking as if he was stuck in a dream state.
Viral couldn’t be bothered with Takeshi’s annoying voice, especially when he didn’t get his own way. All he did was complain and whine like a spoiled kid. Not even Shu’s voice annoyed him as much as Takeshi when he was complaining about nothing. Despite how annoyed he was at Takeshi he still managed to focus and find where he was going, only problem was it was an elevator and was obviously not going to open for him. Releasing his frustration on it momentarily he tried to pry it open, growling as he exerted pressure to tear it apart. It didn’t matter if he had to break his claws to get this door open, he was going to do it before any of them offered to blow open the doors. When Yumi approached him he was a little hesitant until he saw she was simply going to do the same rather than offer to blast it open. As the door powered open finally he stared at the massive room that was the elevator, hesitating for a moment before walking in over to the panel. It seemed to be functional despite the fact they broke into it, but he wasn’t going to trust it fully until it took him to the Beastmen. “Well it doesn’t go up, now does it?” he spoke as he pressed the button to go down once everyone was in, “We’ll see where it takes us when we get down safely”.

Shu didn’t really know where they were going but he was willing to follow along without having to take responsibility to try and find what they were looking for. He was not good at recognising stuff that would tell them where the Beastmen might be or anything scientific when he didn’t know what most of the stuff even was. Everyone apart from him was familiar with this kind of place so leaving it all to them was definitely his only option. After a little bit of wandering and Takeshi getting all mad as usual they soon found what Viral seemed to think was a lead. Hurrying after Takeshi he stared at the elevator as it was opened up, disliking how much of a large box it was. If he remembered correctly from the ship these things moved and sounded pretty scary to boot. He couldn’t help but wonder if it might ever come crashing down with them in it. Frowning, he stepped into it and looked around, feeling a little nervous and curious about it and if it was the right place.
Cecil was trying his best to keep up, but even cracks on the ground were causing him to near fall over. He was trying his best to keep up but as he continued he was increasingly aware of his own failures and was gradually finding it hard to believe that he should be with them anymore. They were his first friends ever, but they had fallen out with him because of what he did. He couldn’t understand how this friendship stuff worked completely, but he did know if you were a terrible person to them you weren’t deserving of them. Running on after everyone else as best as he could he slowed down as well, although the sudden stop caused him to stumble over and fall against the wall with a nasty metallic scraping sound following.

It seemed that everyone had stopped now, but even then it felt as if everything was still running and that he should follow suit. He should leave them so they wouldn’t get into even more trouble than they already were, but the desire to have friends was causing him to hesitate. The sight of the Machina and what Nymira did to them only played over in his head as a possible scenario of what might happen if he overstepped his boundaries again or if they thought he was too much of a danger to exist around others. He was a Machina who could emote unlike those at the mansion, something that others seemed to fear whenever they found out.

Just what was he going to do? That woman was leaving and now all they could do was contemplate their next moves. They had lost a lot because of that whole mayor thing, even their transport. Twitching momentarily he slowly turned away, holding his head as he shook. “W-What’s happening?? W-What is s-s-syst-…can’t-…how did this happen…” he spoke in distress, trying to understand everything that was happening and what was happening to him, “Did I do that t-to-to-to the Machina?? I already destroyed the people…already destroyed…threat nullified…sys-system failing…”

The stress was hurting his mental state and his senses, his mind going into shutdown. He shouldn’t be having this much trouble understanding what life and death was and what it meant to the others, but what he saw before he went on the rampage was still trying to invade his mind and causing even more problems. He had seen all of this before, he knew he had even before he knew what existence was. Maybe it happened in the factory when he was trying to escape, but that was only half of the puzzle. He couldn’t understand any of it, he couldn’t understand anything that had happened or what was happening to him.

Quickly turning around to Ethan and Amuné he stared at them almost blankly as Amuné spoke, his feet shifting to stop himself from falling over. She was never going to forgive him for what he did, he had completely destroyed what little respect she had for him and somehow that realisation made him feel even more upset like it could never be restored. Those Machina were going to kill them if they stayed, just like he could had killed them all if he wasn’t stopped. Standing staring as he tried to recover from his system errors he soon slowly turned around again. “Go…go and find him. If you stay with me I-I might hurt you too…like those other Machina”, he spoke slowly, rocking on his feet a little, “I’m dangerous! Don’t be around me…don’t get close to me. Don’t know what happened, I don’t-…don’t…not…b-but-…what did this to me…” Sitting down fairly quickly as if he simply fell off his feet he held his head, not looking as if he was comprehending anything right now. “I’m dead, I’m dead…don’t talk to me…”
Viral didn’t think it was unusual that the Beastmen wouldn’t be possible to track, it was already difficult to tell whether they were in the right building if it wasn’t for the fact that the Elite that was supposed to be guarding the place had found them so quickly meaning he was already nearby by the time they broke in. It must’ve been somewhere around here, but they couldn’t keep going around in circles either. If the Beastmen were going to be anywhere it was probably down underground somewhere to keep them safe from invaders who would assume anything other than the place being a simple base. The only reason the Elite was willing to admit that there was Beastmen here was because Viral himself was part of the project even if the man was determined to call him a simple tool. Looking to Yumi when she spoke to him he sighed, rolling his eyes. “You’re getting worse at this storytelling gag. I don’t need to be hearing you talking like you’re on a television show…”

While Viral was pretty annoyed at them he still knew he wasn’t going to be able to do all of this by himself. He lacked in a lot of fighting techniques that other fighters would have and there was probably no chance that the Beastmen would want to go with him alone. He probably looked terrible already and was only hoping he was going to shake it off and look much better by the time they found these Beastmen. He probably took more hits than he should’ve, but it was definitely something he could show little care about for now when he was used to this kind of punishment. Looking to Takeshi he narrowed his eyes before looking away. Takeshi was way too excited over this mission, in fact they were all acting like children. The worst part about it all was they were all better than him at fighting and winning battles while he was just getting lucky so far with reckless enemies. “I don’t care if you and your brother want to fight the next Elite, it’s childish to call ‘dibs’ on a warrior’s fate…” he spoke lowly, feeling pretty close to just punching Takeshi in the face, “I doubt they’ll come with us too just because we took down a few guards. Just because you said something happened doesn’t make it spectacular. If it was me I would be looking for power and leadership and I don’t see that in any of you”.

While he didn’t believe he was going to be worth the title of leader he was still going to try and take out the higher command so that they might feel they had no choice but to come to their side. There were low chances of it ever being successful, but if that didn’t work then he was probably going to have to call in Aito to ‘show off’ his own power to convince them to come over to their side. This was never going to work. There was already dread filling his face as he was inevitably starting to lose hope that this plan would ever work by the time he finished his thought. Clenching his teeth as he briefly stared down at the floor he glanced up when he noticed the change in the setup, looking around at first before moving on ahead quicker. Investigating further down the hallways he eventually found what he thought was a possible lead, but to anyone else it just looked like a large elevator. Running on up to it he stopped right in front of the doors, looking up and down them before to the panel. It looked like it needed a keycard of some sort, but that was one thing they didn’t have. Growling, he quickly hit the panel with his fist before slipping his claws inbetween the thin gap between the doors, pulling hard to try and get them to open.
Shu was pretty thankful that everyone seemed to be okay, even with everyone being so split up for that fight. If they got injured at a time like this then he was going to have to really pull his weight or they would have no choice but to back out. There was no real way to get more people to help them, he already saw it as pretty ridiculous that they were going to be the only ones in this place to begin with when it was filled with guards and dangers. That was probably the first concern he had when he was told that only the few of them were going down there and it certainly made him pretty anxious with the thought that he might have to face all this alone at one point. Raising his hands momentarily when Takeshi ruffled up his hair he bounced on after him, looking around at what had happened while they had been fighting as well. Feeling pretty happy that Viral didn’t look too bad he quickly looked to Takeshi at the suggestion for more Elites only to look to Yumi, giving her a smile. He didn’t really know if he could handle an Elite himself so he was happy to agree with Yumi and only think Takeshi would be happy with such a fight. Oh well, for now they had to try and find the Beastmen and where they might be, only problem was Yumi couldn’t seem to smell them anywhere. “Ooh! I smell? No no! Already had wash before!”

Viral wasn’t exactly the most confident after a fight like that, more because he was worried about his own ability to keep fighting like that if he had to. His energy was feeling somewhat low after that which was definitely his own fault for not trying to improve his health that much. He just hadn’t the will to try and make himself better by doing everything he had been told typically because of how it affected his mental state. He was only having to act confident in his abilities to keep up with the stronger opponents, but after that fight he didn’t know if he was going to recover in time if another Elite showed up that he had to battle. Moving on for now he stared at Yumi when she tried to find where the Beastmen might be, frowning when she thought sniffing them out might work. Sighing, he quickly turned and started heading away. “They’ll be in a different part of the base compared to this stuff, like a vaulted door to keep them separate from the offices and to make sure they are in one place. We just have to keep moving for now…”
Viral was determined to put a halt to this man’s attack even if it was going to kill him, placing himself directly in the risk area and right in the path of the possible Ki attack. He was anything but a simple tool if he was able to do all of this, to be able to surpass an Elite Saiyan who was also a seasoned veteran. Managing to get the man to a much more desperate stance in the fight he threw himself forward, swiping at his face with a punch that he hoped would end the attack and save both himself and the others from the attack. Thankfully his fist managed to connect just in time to stop the attack and with the momentum created from his rush he stumbled a few steps while the Saiyan crashed even further away into quite the mess beyond the corridor itself. Staring down where his opponent had landed he slowly stood back up straight again, letting out an annoyed groan as he looked down at his fist before looking back to the others to see if they were managing and hopefully okay.

Shu was going to start bugging Takeshi every time he said a bad word now, especially when he didn’t believe he was bad himself. If bad words were for bad people then the Saiyans and every other evil person they faced would be saying them all the time, only thing was they didn’t really from what he heard from them. Takeshi was just making excuses to try and make himself sound bad, but really they were just confusing and words that didn’t really belong anywhere. While he managed to take down or annoy his opponents into them simply fleeing from the fight, Takeshi was the one who really ended it. Watching as they went flying off he looked back to his brother and wondered whether it was a good thing that he did that in the first place, seeing how someone was probably going to get really hurt from that. Slowly tilting his head he soon gasped and looked back around to Viral’s opponent, or rather where he landed before to Viral. He had managed to beat his opponent too it seemed, but he seemed to had been hit a lot too. Hopefully he was going to be okay. While he was focusing on Viral he squeaked when he looked to see if Yumi was alright too since she had gone to handle the other guy who appeared to be of higher status in the army. Luckily for them Yumi had managed to beat her opponent into submission too from the looks and sounds of it, his eyes quickly going to Takeshi as he pointed furiously. “Ooh! Ooh! Miss Yumi and Mister Viral!”
Viral knew he needed to put this man down fast or he was going to cause even more problems with them as they continued their way through the facility. He would need to knock the man out so badly that he wouldn’t wake up for a long time, seeing how he wasn’t allowed to kill with the others around. He needed to beat this guy into the ground to get it through to his thick skull that he wasn’t going to win even if he was an Elite. He was above Elites when he was still in the army, only the best were promoted to a title of command. Throwing everything he had at the Elite with the punches he watched as the Elite once again was knocked down, his eyes staring down at him like daggers as he only got back up to his feet. “You just underestimated me greatly…” He was injured himself but he was the one who was still able to stand if only to show he was not going to be easily put down just because of what he was. Staring at the man he watched as he decided it was suitable to start charging up Ki, his eyes quickly turning behind him to the others. If this guy was going to start blasting away he was most likely going to injure the others. He couldn’t let the attack get through, otherwise they were going to lose this. Growling angrily he blinked as he realised just how strong the attack was going to be. “Don’t you dare, you coward!!” he snapped, throwing himself forward as he aimed to break past the Elite’s arms to throw a punch right for his face.

Shu didn’t feel that he knew enough about fighting techniques to be able to fight like the others do, but at least he was going to be able to defeat them without them. He was going to be able to manage for so long and hopefully this was all going to be over before somebody caught on and completely destroyed him for his goofing around. Managing to flip a soldier down to the ground he looked to Takeshi quickly, gasping and pointing at him. “You said bad word again!” he squeaked before having to go back into fighting, throwing a soldier down when he tried to punch him by simply pulling them to the side of him. While he wasn’t really knocking anyone out he was still managing to annoy them greatly, watching as they soon tried to get up again only to jump onto their backs when they tried. He was certainly monkeying around at this point but he was just doing all he could to avoid being stricken down himself, watching the soldiers who were still trying to get him in any way possible. He wasn’t going to use any Ki attacks like Takeshi seemed to be wanting to do, he couldn’t trust himself at this point after his little moment of excitement while they were flying. He might end up firing off an attack and accidentally hitting Takeshi because he wasn’t concentrating enough and watching what he was doing. Turning around quickly when Takeshi finally fired off the attack he squeaked and covered his ears, watching as the soldiers went flying off and away because of the blast. That was pretty scary and hopefully they were going to be okay after that, even if they were bad guys.
The disgrace that he had caused and the confusion he was feeling had left Cecil in a pretty bad state, his existence feeling like it was meaningless even if he had been reassured by Ethan that he was still a good person. He didn’t feel like a person after all that, he didn’t feel like he was anything like them. His main source of confusion lay with what he had seen before his supposed outburst, he didn’t even know what he had seen but that managed to trigger him pretty badly. Just what was stopping him from being triggered by something like that again? He might end up killing one of them and hearing Amuné pretty upset was just making everything so much worse. He had screwed up big time and now he was paying for it with his increased guilt and pain he was feeling.

He couldn’t keep going on like this, he had already ruined it for himself. Everybody didn’t want to go anywhere near him and if he was going to have a struggle fitting in with them again he didn’t know if he could put them through all that again. Even though the man who owned the stuff that had been stolen seemed pretty happy, the others were the complete opposite and now they were being taken away for some reason that he couldn’t fully understand. He couldn’t be bothered understanding it either, he was just going to end up making everything worse if he was just going to talk and blow his own cover with his glitchy speech pattern. He didn’t know what to do anymore and as he tried to walk with everyone he kept his gaze low, watching his feet as he continued to try and walk straight enough for him to manage.

First problem was he didn’t know why they were going to see the mayor again. They had already seen him and yet here they were again. Barely giving the Machina a glance out of possible shame and fear that he might try and destroy them too he waited with the others for any prompt that they were able to move forward; however, after a few requests to enter there was rising suspicion being created. Looking up as the door was opened up he stared at the mayor a moment before gasping as he realised first what had happened. Usually he could tell that someone was functioning, especially after the bodies on the ship allowing him to differentiate someone who was and wasn’t. Usually there was some sort of electrical signal coming from them, but the mayor had none at all. Glancing to the others he flinched when the men suddenly realised something was wrong, his feet shuffling back when it came to the realisation that he had no idea how people like guards would react to seeing the no longer functioning.

This was pretty bad, they were quickly starting their aggressions too but towards Zander instead. Looking to him quickly his eyes darted to the guard who was very quickly becoming angered and very hostile, his hand removing itself from his head as he very quickly started to panic. Everything was telling him to go into alert mode, he needed to get out of there before the worse happened once again; however, as the guards started to lead them out the Machina ahead were displaying clear hostile signs. What was happening? The only people who had displayed clearly hostile intentions were the guards so there was no reason for them to attack.

Just as Cecil suspected the Machina were not displaying their aggression completely to them, but rather the guards who were very quickly trying to cut them down much to Cecil’s horror. Staring at the event unfold he let out a yell when one forced itself in through the window, a Machina used for gardening who soon enough had been decapitated before his very eyes. Freezing in horror he stared at the guard uncertain but no sooner had the man been stabbed through the chest by another incoming Machina. Everything was quickly getting out of hand and Cecil didn’t know what to do about it. People were getting cut down and Machina were being destroyed right before his eyes. In a moment of brief panic he gasped when Nymira decided to move first before watching in horror as she blasted the aggressive Machina which horrifically melted away before his eyes.

Unable to stop himself he let out a gasping scream, his body reeling back at witnessing such horror. To them it would had been the equivalent of seeing one of their own kind melt away to their basic frame and with organic life being as complicated as it was it would’ve been horrific; however, with Ethan giving the prompt to move everyone was acting as if they were okay with this, seeing it as a benefit to their escape. Cecil on the other hand had just witnessed the horror that was his own kind being decapitated and three more being horrifically melted. Watching in shock as everyone started to leave his knees shook until he was able to leave himself, trying to gain the courage to jump out the window at the same time. While he had managed that task he was now running in a state of panic and horror only to fall over mid run and ram into the ground, sliding part of the way before he managed to get back up again as the wall was destroyed by Ethan. He had to get out of there, even if he couldn’t coordinate himself correctly. Making another dash again he hurried after the others as if becoming part of the mob mentality to escape the place, his feet sliding in a mess of sparks as he tried to keep running straight.
Viral couldn’t let that continue to happen to him, even if his strength was being sapped by his weakness he had to try and stand up to the Saiyan and show he was still the warrior he used to be. The attack had managed to knock him off completely but he was ready to try harder to keep up with the man and show off the power he had. He was supposed to be one of the strongest, but for so long he had been unable to fight and couldn’t even keep up with those who he managed to before. He was hurting pretty badly from that attack but so long as he could remain unharmed for the most part he would recover as he fought. Throwing in a flurry of punches in an attempt to punish the man for underestimating him he managed to do just that as several broke through and forced the man to the ground, staring down at him as he cracked his fingers. Glaring down at the man he watched as he got back to his feet, growling lowly as the Elite just got back up, moving his hands back momentarily. “You underestimated me the moment you picked a fight!” The moment the Saiyan started throwing punches Viral threw his own to counter them, their fists clashing together. “If you believe yourself to be in charge then you should know what you’re up against! I am not going down easily!” Even as some of his punches missed he remained standing, only being pushed back a little bit each time before he suddenly pulled back and tried to deliver a much harder punch to try and throw the Elite off his feet again.

Shu didn’t know if he was doing well against these men until he got approval from Takeshi so looking to him every so often was proving to be a little difficult as he had to try and fight off the soldiers at the same time. He was more or less playing with them in his swings and punches, even going as far as to jump on a soldier’s head and spring onto another. The soldiers couldn’t handle a springy kid like him and were struggling to try and bring him under control. None of their usual tactics were working against Shu when he was more concerned with bouncing around and making a fool of them. Jumping on another soldier’s shoulders Shu instead grabbed their neck with his tail, wrapping it around him quickly before jumping off and pulling them to the ground. While he was having an easy time with these guys he was more concerned with trying out some techniques on them so instead of only punching and kicking he seemed to be bothering them into submission. Giggling a little he soon turned to Takeshi, watching him for a second before needing to bounce away and annoy the soldiers even more. “Ooh! Not me! Not good at fight yet! It too hard!”
