Just me I think. I've been soldiering through college work and need a fair break to post.

Close to completing it though, then I shouldn't have any excuses.

You can post if you want, though!
Link was starting to feel kind of strange as time marched on, he didn’t really know why and was just marching on hoping it would go away. Maybe it was a combination of tiredness and fear, especially when they had been wandering for so long and didn’t appear to be getting any closer to the Princess. He was beginning to wonder where they might be after so long and with tired feet and a stressed out mind he was beginning to wonder if he might as well just go to sleep for the day. Nobody would find where they possibly were if this map did turn out to be wrong, even if it was indicating that they were probably very close. Feeling worn down when he turned the corner he didn’t feel relief that there was a ladder where the map said there would be, but rather exasperation when it meant he wasn’t going to get a rest after so many hours of wandering. Slowly placing the map away he looked to the others, his attention soon going to Regol completely when he gave them an awkward motion to use the mask finally.

While this meant they were finally going to see some action and get out of these traps, it also meant he was going to have to be very sneaky and hope they won’t have to fight. Placing on his mask he sighed and glanced to Caelan, shaking his head. “Well…I guess here goes nothing. I hope you can fight good still”. Taking in one final breath he quickly grabbed hold of the ladder and started to climb, feeling a little dizzy once he was a few feet off the ground but carried on upwards. He had to admit he didn’t really know what was going on with him or whether it was the amulet messing with him, but either way he had to stick it out and wait for the mission to be over. “Oh man, I don’t even know what the Princess looks like…” he sighed lightly, keeping his eyes up as he near reached the top, “I’m sure she’s got fancy clothing, but everything else…” Not having time for contemplation he reached the top, pulling himself around the bush the ladder lead to before he crawled around and turned to stare at the other two, waiting for them to get ready to go.
Viral was just growing annoyed with Aito the more he hanged around with him, finding it hard to relate to him with anything. The man was essentially a stranger to him despite having a sense of familiarity around him which wasn’t enough to make him feel comfortable around him. He couldn’t understand why he felt such a way towards him, maybe there was some old instinct where he might see him as a father, but mostly he was a simple stranger who was too attached to him for his own good. Having him trying to show him encouragement by slapping him on the back was definitely not helping that feeling and only sent a chill down his spine as his boundaries were invaded. Snapping at Aito he gave him a glaring at when he ranted about his age, letting out an annoyed sigh he shook his head and looked away. “I don’t know how an idiot like you could possibly be smart enough to create life…” he groaned, “I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re just deploying someone else’s experiment here…”

Looking to the gate as it was held open he looked to Yumi as he passed through, frowning at her words as if he didn’t understand what she was saying. He didn’t need practice so there was no ‘we’ really, just her. Looking away as he carried on he stopped and looked quickly to her finger as she poke him, looking back at her as he went to backhand her finger. “Are you calling me incapable? You may be a capable Ki fighter, but as a Beastman you’ve got plenty to learn!” he snapped back at her, waving his paw in dismissal as he walked on, “But whatever, if you’re not willing to accept you need practice then keep doing what you do if that’s what you think is best. If you think trying to focus on Beastman abilities will leave you at a disadvantage then don’t try and do whatever you do best…”
Viral felt he couldn’t believe Aito even if he wanted to try, he just saw him as using this time to think up answers that he couldn’t answer quite yet. The longer it was going to take him to say something about it the less of a chance he’ll believe him. It had been years since he was able to come to a conclusion to the purpose of his life and being told he was in part created to be a weapon against these things just made him think of Aito chaining his limbs and forcing him to fight those creatures. It probably would’ve turned into a case of him being forced into complete servitude if those creatures actually appeared on Earth. Giving Aito a distasteful glaring at he exited the vehicle he wondered how long it would take after this outing to come up with a reason, whether he would end up coming up with something that was convoluted or something he read out of a fictional book.

Once he was out and on his feet again he was immediately annoyed by Aito, offering to take up the responsibility of doing all the scientific stuff; however, Aito making up the excuse that he was joking was only sounding like Aito was trying to avoid humiliating him with such a simple task after taking him out so far away. Lowly growling he narrowed his gaze. “Doesn’t stop you from punching them for a while, you know…” He didn’t see how him punching the things would be any different than himself punching them. Just what makes him more capable, anyway?

Looking to Yumi he stared at her as she spoke, not looking like he was understanding the wrong in what he said. Staring at her as she walked off, frowning momentarily before Aito decided to butt in as usual. Glaring at him he gasped when he was slapped in the back, finding that to be too much unwanted physical contact already. “You’re really overstepping your boundaries, old man! And I’ve got nothing to prove! I’m still capable of fighting, just because I’m a Beastman doesn’t make me a lesser warrior!”
Viral let out a groan, shifting his head to the side when Aito just went off trying to make it out like it was some sort of field trip. He saw no benefit in this, he would’ve been better trying to train his body up, nevermind having to go out during the day to some lake. If this was supposed to be some sort of outing then he was going to be pretty annoyed. He was behind with everything and if he was going to be held up all the time by various things then he would never be able to fight true enemies. He didn’t want to have to get lucky all the time, he wanted to win a real battle with an equal opponent. This was just a waste of time in his eyes, seeing how Aito was perfectly capable of protecting himself from whatever dangers were out in the wilderness.

Letting out a groan he turned to the window again, folding his arms. He didn’t think too hard about what he said, Aito was rarely ever straight to the point with things and to be so cryptic simply meant he was just trying to act smart. Something about water and contamination, if that was the case then it just needed to be purified. It may not had been something a Saiyan could do, but that was only because Saiyans were rarely brainy and could only handle the thought of fighting most of the time. Staring out the window as Aito continued to talk he frowned and glanced to Yumi when she spoke up about it, simply giving his head a quick scratch before he folded his arms. He was really starting to wonder where Aito was getting this kind of information about his energy and what not, finding it all too farfetched that he learned it on New Namek.

“Oh yeah, sure…I’d love to watch your ass while you play around with chemicals…” he muttered, looking to Aito, “Soooo…what, is this what you made me for and all that ‘protecting Earth’ was just a cover for that fact? Maybe some day you’ll actually tell me what those things are because you obviously know more than anyone else does. Besides, you haven’t been alive during any of the attacks…” He was rather bitter about the whole issue, especially when Aito and June had been ignoring his existence throughout his years on Earth. The whole thing with ‘the dead watch over you’ was supposed to be something that would get him through the days, but all he felt was bitterness and anger from being alone for so many years and not understanding what happened and why he was being ignored. Vegeta had grown up fine, even if he distanced himself quickly once the staff decided he was better off being cared for by Humans.

Once they had finally stopped he made a glance out the window before slowly standing up and getting out of the vehicle, sighing once he was finally out. He didn’t much like travelling in a vehicle that had no weapons, it made him feel rather edgy despite Aito and Yumi being perfectly capable of firing off attacks. Just because they could didn’t mean he would feel better, especially when he had very little to defend himself with. When Aito spoke of his distaste for testing the water he let out a low growl, turning to face him as he threw a paw up. “Fine! I’ll do the tests while you fight! Since you’re so eager”, he snapped at him, “Yumi needs the practice, anyway! It’s not like I can fly over the water, anyway…”

GIT YER ARSES IN GEAR BEFORE AH GO FULL SCOT ON YE
Sooooo what's happening? Are we waiting for a thing or do we need to do a thing to get to the thing?
Hate to say it but we really don't get much news regarding that stuff in the mainstream so uhhh no, didn't hear anything about it D:

When are you heading on home, anyway? I've got a few more days left of college myself.
Hope things have been well Caboose! Might be a tiny bit before I manage to post because of a week of deadlines, but I'm trucking through them and will hopefully get everything done.
Cecil was doing all he could to try and get his point across and hoped that Norman would know what to do with him and what might be wrong with him. If he could get fixed then everybody would be happy and he wouldn’t end up upsetting his friends again. They were the only people who cared enough to have him around and the only people he could be himself around. They were the ones who knew what he was, or at least most of them knew. Even with his machine parts he didn’t know if they all knew or just assumed he was still part flesh. With hope that Norman might know what was wrong with him he told him everything and what might possibly be wrong with him by showing the device he had picked up too. There had to be something he could help him with, anything to do with what happened to him.

Staring at Norman as he spoke he remained hopeful but that hope slowly disappeared as he started to talk about how different from normal Machina he was and how complicated he was turning out to be. Slowly looking away again he pulled at his gauntlet, staring at the ground. “Oh…I see”, he spoke shallowly, “I…don’t have long term memory? Oh…” If he didn’t have long term memory then that would mean if his friends left him for a long time he would forget about them completely. Slowly reeling in his gauntlet only to rub his arms with both of them he sighed lightly, looking up as Zander approached only to gasp at his words. He was very quick to say what he did was a good thing, his eyes looking down to his feet. “My…augmentations…?”

As Nymira came in and gave Zander a good smack about praising his killing spree he stared at them in confusion, wondering if what he did was actually a good thing like Zander told him. What they were wanting to do was decommission him and as Nymira spoke he couldn’t help but feel like he was worth dying for. Gasping again when Ethan instead snapped at Nymira he was once again being told off for what he did indirectly, his eyes staring at Ethan as he frowned. Ethan was very quick to try and make it out to not be his fault, but after what he said he couldn’t help but feel that he was just saying that because he knew he would’ve upset him again. “I-uhh…okay…” He couldn’t promise him anything, he was a machine built to serve a purpose and that purpose was obviously killing. If it was a glitch or a reset there was nothing he could do to prevent it.

Feeling even more confused than when he first started he was beginning to panic, wondering what he was supposed to do and why he might had glitched out and saw those strange images. Norman wasn’t giving him an answer to that, he just sounded as confused as he was about it and he wasn’t even answering why he might’ve become attached to the chain. The more he thought about it the more he was becoming lost, his expression turning blank as he slowly adjusted himself on the cart as Norman got off. To fight or not to fight, it was something he had to figure out himself. If he didn’t fight his friends may end up in trouble, but if he did he might end up killing again. Watching as Norman got on his machine again he gave his head a rub, feeling around the repaired area before sighing as he adjusted his position in the cart.

It seemed he wasn’t getting help in the end, only getting told even worse things about himself like how he’ll most likely forget his friends eventually and that when he glitches he kills people. He learned he was mentally malfunctioning and making up imagery and if it was going to happen again he was going to default to his original programming. With everybody done arguing about his actions Norman soon drove off, leaving him with more questions than answers. He was never going to get this settled. Keeping quiet as everyone got prepared to move off again he kept his hands holding his arms, contemplating his future. While he was very confused and wholly uncertain about his potential he gasped lightly when Nymira spoke to him, looking to her quickly. Staring at her as she spoke he slowly looked down at himself. “I don’t know if I am ashamed…just…disappointed”, he spoke, shaking his head, “I don’t know how to make any of this better, either. I have only been alive for a short time and it only took a day to ruin everything”.
