Guhhh, don't want this stagnating soooo possible for a post?
T’charrl didn’t know what to do, he hadn’t had to deal with something like this before and seeing it interacting with Haku distressed him. It shouldn’t be able to interact with anything other than him so he must had done something wrong. The spirit must had been too close to him when he was using his abilities, maybe it was the fact that Haku was here during it that caused the spirit to gain the ability to see him. Looking to Haku he disliked how he was using him as a shield, almost as if the spirit was something to be feared. “It’s just a spirit! I don’t know why it’s able to interact with you, but that’s not what’s supposed to happen”, he said quickly, holding out his claws to it he tried to channel some energy again, not knowing what he was trying to do but maybe it’ll stop Haku from freaking out if he actually tried to stop the spirit. It looked like some sort of animal to him, but he couldn’t be entirely sure since he wasn’t familiar with the residents of this planet.

Kiton stared at the pirates, not looking too impressed that one was a little apprehensive and quick to go for his weapon. If these pirates were actually wise then they should know someone who so confidently approached pirates would be able to deal with blasters no problem. He had approached them without appearing as if he might attack them, he knew there was going to be a risk too to the hostages but his confidence told them he wasn’t there on hostile terms. Explaining himself to them he folded his arms, staring at them as they talked together. This was something that Ricken wouldn’t be able to do, he would had just punched them and threatened them into silence. Pirates were people too so they had to be treated as such, giving them the option to consider his words before smiling a little when they allowed him to go and see their captain.

“Hey, just because you think of me as a clown doesn’t mean I am one. Don’t think I didn’t hear that”, he pointed out. Waiting for the entrance to be opened up to him he looked to the two other pirates that had appeared, his eyes glancing back to the pirate speaking to him. “Shooting me won’t do much, I am a Frost Demon, after all”, he spoke, shrugging lightly, “I wouldn’t be telling you this either if I didn’t see you pirates as possible allies”. He needed to gain their trust and he knew the best way to do that was to tell them something personal like that. He hoped that the captain would be willing to hear him out like those two did too, but all that depended on how reasonable the man was.

While Viral couldn’t quite see Yumi hearing her complain about what he said made him somewhat frustrated, unable to understand why she was so against it. Being around him often meant placing everyone in danger and he was pretty useless when it came to enemies that were Ki users. It was impossible for him to win against that and he knew it, but everyone else was simply too accepting of him. Trying to express his frustration on this matter to Yumi was simply running him into a dead end with her telling him how bad it is to try and fight solo. He wasn’t made to fight in a group, he was meant to be reckless and go in at full power if he could. Simply trying to express his frustrations and worries he made an attempt to tell her to stop him if he ever went out of control, but instead he was snapped at as if it was the worst thing he could say, his eyes trying to search her shadow before he let out a sigh.

Everything was falling out of his favour rapidly while even life-saving requests were being put down. He really was awful at all of this honest stuff or anything related to emotions. He found it hard enough to make requests to help save others and with his power having such bad control issues he felt he needed to make precautions. Once they were finally on the ground again he kept what was left of his vision away from Yumi, simply staring down at the ground as they walked onwards, his feet having only a little trouble finding where he was going with the unfamiliar ground. He felt rather disappointed, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do when his words always fell on deaf ears. “Later usually turns into avoiding the subject until I request again. There won’t be a later”, he spoke, shaking his head, “I don’t know how anybody doesn’t see me as a problem, especially after what happened all those years ago. Everyone is just so accepting and I don’t understand why…”
T’charrl remained in tune with his energy, lowering his palms just a little as he tried to keep the energy down he fought with the negative energy, converting it into his own slowly. He didn’t know how Haku was doing or if he was feeling anything, but right now he couldn’t pull his attention away to see. He needed to concentrate and focus on keeping his mind clear, just so he didn’t have to go through any negative effects later on. Feeling like he had everything under control he suddenly jolted when Haku let out a yelp, snapping right out of his trance his glow dispersed as he quickly looked around. “What happened?? What did I do wrong??” he exclaimed in fright, not appearing very lucid until he focused again, staring out at the scene he had created before quickly turning to Haku, “What I-ah!” He didn’t know why but it seemed Haku was seen by a spirit, something he knew definitely wasn’t supposed to happen, “H-How is it touching you?? I don’t know what I did!”

Kiton gave Sasha a thumbs up before going off on his way, hoping this was going to work. He would have to play it safe at first, there was a possibility that they would just open fire at him or something. He was prepared for anything, plus they were only pirates meaning the worst they could do was keep attacking him. He didn’t know if he would be able to keep his promise to not kill anyone if that happened, then again he could probably maim them or something; he was sure that was probably in the rules somewhere that maiming was fine but killing wasn’t. He wouldn’t try to experiment either way, he would probably get into a hell of a lot of trouble if he tried to do anything out of the ordinary.

Looking out for any pirates it turned out they were not all that hard to find, staring at them as they conversed with each other. They certainly didn’t look imposing, at least to him. He had met many terrible people in his lifetime and compared to some of the average people these guys looked like pushovers. Slowly coming in for a landing he stared at the pirates who were very quick to laugh at him, joking about his appearance. Seemed they had never seen a Frost Demon before, but Kiton couldn’t blame him considering how rare they were nowadays. The only other Frost Demon he knew was his father and even that relationship didn’t last very long. Slowly approaching the pirates he narrowed his eyes, sighing lightly as he lazily glanced to their weapons. “Yeah yeah, so I heard. I don’t care about the town, though. I just want to see your captain”, he spoke, lazily glancing around, “I received word that you had captured this place and if an outlaw like me could hear about something like that…don’t you think that’s just gonna attract the Saiyans or worse? I just want to lend my aid, is all”.

----

Viral let out a growl of frustration, really hating that logic. His weapon was part of him, he needed it just in case he ran into one of those creatures and couldn’t get any attacks off that used his energy. There was only so much punching and kicking you could do to try and kill an enemy. Feeling rather annoyed at her logic he let out a grumble when she mentioned his forms. “My energy is dangerous to everyone around me! So is everything I do…” he spoke quickly, sighing in annoyance, “I’m better at going solo than fighting with you and everyone else…” What a bother, he couldn’t do anything with everyone around him in a battle without having to limit himself. That was probably what happened to him here, but he would probably never know since Yumi said she couldn’t really remember. Just his luck, especially when he was showing how reckless he could be by ending up in a state like this.

Disliking how he was now flying now he felt somewhat glad that his senses weren’t working very well, knowing he would just feel inferior once more at the multitude of abilities every Ki user had. In battle he would probably lose to a Ki user, they would just have to keep their distance from him and constantly shoot at him until he went down. He knew even if he went all out he would have to be brought down again by his own team because of how out of control he would become, but that would only happen if Yumi actually agreed to do it. She was once again being stubborn about it and not letting his request through. “Sometimes drastic measures have to be taken and if that is the last resort then do it…okay?” he sighed, not really knowing how he could convince her, “Time is running out and the more surprises that come out of me like that, the worse it gets. You can’t have me running around with my power going off the rails forever…and sometimes I’ll have to be silenced, got it?”
Aye don't worry yourself! That's a lot to deal with so don't worry and focus on yourself for however long you need.
Cecil didn’t have much of a choice, he needed to get away from them if they were to leave him alone. They would all eventually forget about him, they certainly didn’t know him for long enough to verify whether they felt anything for him. They were living creatures, he was not. Of course they would remember their own kind over a machine. Trying to flee from Ethan trying to chase after him he went up onto the roof of a building, slowly walking up the tiles before moving onto the other side, disliking how he had to take this route. Despite his weight the tiles were holding well, he didn’t feel like he was going to slip off or destroy the roof. It was rather depressing, half of him wanted to fall off and see what happened to him, but the other part didn’t want to die. He didn’t understand it, he was just a programmed machine; he shouldn’t have this motivation.

He didn’t understand anything. Everything was so confusing and if he tried to address it in his head using everything he had learned he couldn’t come to a conclusion. He wasn’t supposed to be anything like this according to the world, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do about it either. He needed to get away from them before he might hurt them with his unpredictability, he just wished they understood that. If he wasn’t a friend or able to do anything they could do then he should leave, he shouldn’t try and fit in when it was going to be impossible to do. He couldn’t hope to be considered normal after everything he had done, at least not compared to organic lifeforms.

Staring down at the ground below he hadn’t been paying enough attention to see if Ethan was still following him which he unfortunately was, his shoulders raising and his body going tense for a moment. He didn’t want to be near him, for all he knew he might want to push him off the roof too. “That’s not…my name…” he muttered, shaking his head slowly before looking down at the ground again, “If you don’t want to run, then go back. There is nothing to talk about”. Ethan had better things to do anyway, not to mention it sounded like he was just struggling to keep up with him. Cecil had no problems like that unless he was malfunctioning, he didn’t know how it worked with organic lifeforms but right now he couldn’t care.
T’charrl really wished Takeshi would get over his looks because it did make him pretty upset, especially when he didn’t even like touching him. He liked being held and cuddled, it took a lot of pressure off him to receive such treatment, but Takeshi made him feel self-conscious and wonder whether they all felt uncomfortable going near him. He knew he had shedding problems, but that was just a condition that stemmed from anxiety. Trying to relax himself he lowered his head, letting his body relax as he focused his energy. If Haku could keep quiet then this should work faster, but it would still take some length of time if Haku was expecting it to go fast. Keeping quiet and still for a while he kept his breathing low, focusing his energy until he could use it to see his surroundings without opening his eyes.

Twitching his antennae he frowned as his mind gazed across the landscape, seeing how much negative energy there was and how much there was that had to be changed. If he could properly focus he could pull his energy out and allow it to absorb it, using it to strengthen his own powers. Slowly moving his lower arms out in front of him he held his palms out, trying to take control of his ability. Taking a few moments to try and find his centre he soon began to expel his energy, trying to do what he did to the plant before but on a larger scale. His energy began to build up creating an aura around him, his breathing ceasing as he tried to transform the entire area. As the energy of the area was slowly converted into his own he dropped it, the area soon changing as his energy influenced the area. Plants were beginning to spring out of the ruined ground and climb up the buildings, the spirits of the area becoming visible with many disappearing in a flash. With the area slowly springing to life the sapling he had been tending to earlier was growing large, twisting into a strange entity of a plant that was native to the planet. It was a struggle to do all of this, the negative energy felt heavy and like needles all over. He didn’t know if he could reach through the entire area but he was trying his best, even if it was doing a number on his own body.

Kiton knew he was going to need to be careful, he knew he couldn’t underestimate the pirates like Ricken seemed set on doing. The most he had to do was hope that they were out of the loop and hadn’t heard that he had been taken in by the rebels. Looking between Sasha and Ricken he sighed lightly, hoping it was going to be as smooth as he thought it was going to be and not how dangerous as Sasha thought. “I survived crashing from Space. I’m pretty sure I can survive pirates”, he spoke, looking back to the road before floating a little higher, “Just be nearby and uhh…don’t freak out if they start shooting me. I’m not going to let them hit me so easily”. Deciding to make his way towards the building he started flying, not going too fast but appearing high enough to be seen by any pirates that might be in the area. There must be some around the area, hopefully drawing their eyes to him rather than to Ricken and Sasha.

Viral groaned, not sounding terribly confident. “I don’t know…but I don’t want to have to rely on them…” he muttered before growling, “I want to use my blade!” He was rather angry that he was only allowed to kill the monsters none of them understood, especially when he was built to destroy and kill efficiently. It felt like he was forced into missing his weapon so that he might forget about it, their way of trying to alleviate his beast-like tendencies and put him off killing altogether. He hated the thought of being controlled and if they were all planning that then he would just have to get his weapon back himself.

Meanwhile, Viral was growing annoyed at the light that was supposed to be beneficial for him, finding that he was too low on energy to feel anything other than that sharp pain that came with having to go cold turkey for a long time. “…What? Fly? Damn Ki users…” he grumbled, unable to protest the very action when he was pretty much disabled. Feeling rather unsettled as she started on her build up he removed his paw from his head, instead grabbing hold of his scarf as if it would fly off. He didn’t know where he was or even where she was heading, only assuming that the place she kept calling home was going to be the base. Groaning in frustration he paused when Yumi spoke, letting out a huff instead. “Like you could had helped me before. If I’m out of control, you might as well try and take me down than try and help me…”
T’charrl frowned, glancing to Haku before looking away. “I’m not a bug, though! It’s just coincidence…” he squeaked, shaking his head, “I don’t do the same to your race even if you only have four limbs! Even if I don’t think there’s anything on my planet that looks like your kind…” He really didn’t like that Takeshi put his looks in the same realm as these bugs they had, he really didn’t understand how he looked like one even look at pictures during his studies. Feeling a little upset by that he let out a sigh, trying to relax himself again so that he might be able to concentrate his power and maybe use the negative energy in the area. Looking to Haku when he took to the position, staring at him for a moment before he let out a sigh, trying to relax himself as he lay his lower arms near his feet and his upper arms over his knees. “I’ve had to do it a lot…but I haven’t needed to use it for negative energy like this. Even when people are fighting on the ship it causes me to lose my concentration…” he sighed, closing his eyes, “But, uhh…you just have to calm yourself to do it, listen to everything around you rather than what your mind says. Don’t talk to yourself…and uhh, don’t fall asleep”.

----

Kiton frowned, disliking how Ricken was reacting to his willingness to self-sacrifice. It should’ve been a good thing to hear from him, it showed he was willing to play a part in this mission, but Ricken simply mocked it and couldn’t care less. Sighing in annoyance he looked to Sasha, staring at her as she tried to find another way to go about this. It was probably going to end with the hostages in deeper trouble if they ever went with something like that, plus the entrances would probably be sealed or guarded. Folding his arms as Ricken tried to justify his decision in return he sighed lightly, looking in the direction of the building quickly before to Sasha, ignoring Ricken’s little snide comment. “Look, it’s the least I can do after being treated for my injuries. It’s not like any other traveller would’ve come across me! Even those natives probably would’ve rather seen me dead. If I am going to pay you back the least I can do is use my race and wanted status to your advantage. Don’t you trust me?”

----

Viral groaned, generally disliking the thought that there was more he was going to have to deal with when he hadn’t even finished mastering the other. This was all getting to be too much for him and what was worse was there was probably going to be a day where he’ll kill someone with his unpredictability. “Not like this…I can’t go through this again…” he muttered, slowly rubbing his face before lowering his paw again. He was supposed to be a warrior, but lately he had been a burden that constantly needed to be carried around and assisted. When Yumi questioned his eyesight he simply sighed, trying to see her through the haze that clouded his eyes. “I have no energy…I might as well be dead…” When they finally emerged from the forest the haze turned into blinding light, irritating his headache and eyes even more. Growling in annoyance he raised his paw again, simply resting it on his forehead and over his eyes. “I don’t know if I could eat…I mean…when pain overtakes all your senses, food isn’t a main concern…”
“Well, friends don’t usually scare friends, so it’s just one of those questions. I do try not to, but I always wonder how everyone feels”. T’charrl didn’t want to deny friendships but he did worry that he was only making it harder for him to have friends because of all the problems he went through with his powers. Staring at the plant he glanced at Haku when he mentioned doing something, frowning when he couldn’t say what the word was and expecting him to know it instead. “Uhh…not sleeping and sitting still? Uhhh, I do that already…I think, if I understand what you mean. I can try and do that just now, but it might disturb your energies too”, he spoke, slowly backing off from the little plant in a crawl, moving away before slowly sitting down again away from the plant, crossing his legs as he looked to Haku. “I mean, I can’t talk to the spirit but I can still try and make this place look better by doing this. Maybe if you tried to do that thing to it won’t affect you too much?”

----

Kiton was fairly proud that he had managed to help by grabbing one of the pirates, but when Sasha instructed him to not hold the man like that he frowned and set him down, backing off when Ricken decided to take control. The big thing was that he did indeed help grab the guy and definitely made a difference since they were going to pull a gun on them all. He saved them so that was all that mattered. Watching Sasha start her interrogation he slowly floated over, staring at the pair as if analysing whether there was any torture going on. Frowning when there was no torture and instead a quick hit to knock the guy out, sighing in disappointment. That was hardly exciting, but at least he played his part in that.

Looking to Ricken when he decided to make a comment about the pirates he frowned, folding his arms. Sighing in slight frustration from Ricken’s ignorance, looking off in the direction the building was in before frowning at Ricken when he decided to critique the way he handled the pirate. “Yeah, what’s the problem? It’s not like I cracked his skull on the wall…” Watching Sasha wrap them all up his eyes slowly went to the direction of the building again, frowning when she instead asked him what they should do. “What? Uhh…ideas?” he repeated, scratching his cheek, “Well, nobody knows about me being picked up by you lot other than…well, you lot, so maybe if I approached them saying I’ll join them? Worst case scenario is they capture me because of my bounty, but it’ll still give a good enough distraction for you two to sneak in while I mess around with them. That’s all I got, otherwise I’d just dash in there and destroy them all…”

----

Viral didn’t understand, he didn’t change into a shark but then again the fact that he could change into a feline was still pretty new and not under his control yet. “Don’t call me a lizard…it’s not a lizard! It’s…ughhh…it’s not a lizard…” he spoke, finding it hard to focus his thoughts, “When I can see straight, I’ll set you straight too…” He couldn’t even think through his own personal thoughts nevermind finding the right words to explain to Yumi why it wasn’t a lizard. Changing into a shark was something he was having a hard time seeing himself changing into, letting out a groan as the very thought only made him dizzy. This was horrible, he felt like he had downed way too much alcohol and was paying the price with ill health and a foggy mind. Right now his idea of finding peace was trying to get out of the forest, but Yumi wasn’t letting him go so that he might be able to run. Groaning as he was only making his muscles hurt he slowly moved his paw back to his head. “Don’t bring gender into this…you can be easily stubborn…” he muttered, trying hard to bring his focus in again, “All I need…is to be able to see again…”
Cecil didn’t know what he was going to do from here, but that was just the thing about going on by yourself. He had enough thought about doing this so it was nothing spontaneous, he just had the final reason to go. He wasn’t like them, he couldn’t eat and drink all merrily like they could, he couldn’t do anything they could and was always going to be the outcast of the group. When his only quirk was being able to destroy attackers to a bloody pulp he felt he didn’t belong in a group that halfway protested his function. That’s all he was: a combat-type Machina. He didn’t know why they wanted him around if that’s all he was, not to mention he had cost them a lot of time. The worst part about all of it was how they treated the other Machina who went into combat mode. He could tell by that reaction that if he ever went back into combat mode and happened to direct his objective onto them he would be the one to be melted. Nymira didn’t see him as a friend, she just saw him as something useful until he was no longer useful.

It wasn’t as if he had a purpose for travelling, anyway. He never stated his purpose for travelling to the city because he didn’t know, nor did he understand what they hoped to accomplish by taking him with them. He could continue to travel alone, all he was doing was costing them money but with him gone they could sell the oil they got from Norman so they could eat again another night. He wouldn’t be giving them grief anymore by having to stop because he needed repairs or a tune-up. Even Norman didn’t know what was wrong with him which certainly said a lot.

Walking away at a moderate speed he ignored Ethan’s call, continuing to make his way out with his head held low. Ethan would eventually stop and realise what he was doing was pointless and head back to consume his food. Staring down at the ground as he moved he raised his head momentarily when he heard something still behind him, not only Ethan but others, looking back with a glance to see Amuné and Wyth also there. He didn’t understand why they would want to follow him, they were the two who didn’t want anything to do with him in the first place. Pausing for a moment he soon moved quicker before dashing inbetween two buildings, jumping against the wall of one before bouncing off it and onto the opposite one, walljumping all the way up until he landed on the tiled roof. They couldn’t follow him up here, surely, they would give up probably.
