@shylarahWell she raaaaaaaaaan away didn't she O:
It had been a silence that felt like it lasted an eternity, yet also the shortest as if it was simply a blink in time. Cecil had been switched off for so long without a constant power source and to go from a battlefield to staring up at a foreign roof had panic set in almost immediately. Where exactly was he? Cecil didn’t have any recollection on how he got from and how he got from one reality to the other. So much had been lost inbetween that the moment he was reactivated there was an immediate panic that set in. He couldn’t move, his body felt like it had been partially cut off from the rest of his control centre. There was an immediate sense of panic, he didn’t know where he was and the familiar voice of Norman didn’t help matters either. He didn’t know the guy fully, it wasn’t his fault that he was immediately panicking at the sight of him.

“W-What? Where-“ His voice sounded a little distorted like there was feedback, his power cut bringing on a slow reboot of rather than an immediate regain of everything. His body was still booting up, his resources still taking a moment to awaken and boot up themselves. Nobody else was around him other than Norman, he didn’t know where anybody else was either. Trying to look at his body he couldn’t really see anything, he could barely move his own neck to tilt and look up. Listening to everything that had happened to him he didn’t know if he even wanted to see what had happened, it sounded like he was near destroyed. “These people? Who? W-What’s going on??”

Norman wasn’t really explaining anything, but then again he was the one who hadn’t just woke up after only remembering destruction. It wasn’t fair for him to be treated like barely anything happened and this was just a minor inconvenience. It was an awful state to be left in but it wasn’t as if Norman was going to understand, he functioned differently than him and wouldn’t exactly have a memory capable of understanding how he got to where he was. None of it was fair to him and with Norman acting so casually over it everything simply sounded as if he was owned by Norman. Now thoughts of him being sold off to Norman was going through his mind, especially when nobody else was around and he didn’t know where they had gone off to or how long he had been switched off for. He was under a fair bit of distress and the others weren’t around to help him understand what was going on.

“What…but I-…w-we were fighting and I was helping! I helped, right??” He didn’t know if it was because they had all died that they were missing, or maybe they just had better things to do. Who knew really, he wasn’t being given much benefit of the doubt that he was indeed successful in accomplishing something big and had successfully defended his friends. Norman probably wasn’t concerned with telling him much, probably because this was just all work for him at this point. Hearing him mention a crystal in his chest had him confused, he couldn’t even look to see what he was meaning. “What? No! H-How did a crystal get there?? Is it a foreign thing? I don’t know what’s going on, why don’t you tell me first??”
@PascalHello and welcome
“Oooohhh…but sugar good! Lots of energy! Oooohhh, fruit gift from the wild, so it always good, you know!” Shu spoke slowly as he thought through it, not really knowing what words he needed to properly say. Of course he was going to be supportive about food he found in nature, especially when fruit was found high up in the safe area therefore it must be the best food you could ever have. He was certainly happy enough to prove that fruit was the best in his opinion using examples from the jungle, but he knew they probably didn’t care much if at all about his life out there and whether he was okay during all of it. His past shouldn’t really be of a concern if nobody had a care for it that much. Staring at the ring as Takeshi went on to face another person he watched with curiosity, not really feeling too hyped as they began to fight. Stuff like this he was more used to watching quietly until it was his turn, he didn’t really like to cheer and get all hyped if he could help it, especially when he had fruit to occupy his time. It was interesting watching others compete without having to make a noise and jump around during the match only to face disappointment when the side you were cheering for doesn’t win.

Jura was pumped and ready to go, the crowd cheering definitely helping matters. It didn’t matter if this kid was a Saiyan or whatever, it was her time to shine on the ring and she wasn’t going out without a fight. Immediately going in with a flying kick she laughed when Takeshi complained about the pain, backing off for a moment before back flipping away from Takeshi’s eventual attack. “First you complain about pain and then you don’t! Strange guy, you are!” She was already heading back around him, using the time he was spending at the end of his kick she bounced in once again, aiming to push Takeshi to the floor from this side with a hop against his back. “So weird calling me a chick! Do all you kids have no manners? Or should I be callin’ you a boy since that’s the same!”
Well this was turning into a whole bundle of fun now that these guys had popped up, standing around was getting a little boring anyway. If there was action going on Kensen was pretty happy to be a part of it, but since they were supposed to be giving these guys a test he had become somewhat reluctant to feel energised. With the Vazra showing up it meant he could finally be part of the action and fight his own fight, Gage of course joining in too. These things were pretty common and with them being as aggressive as they were it was easy to confuse them when something out of the ordinary happened even if it made them slightly more dangerous. Setting a pair on fire not only confused a number of them but distracted them too, allowing him to very quickly gain the advantage without having them be on his tail. He had got the drop on them and immediately proceeded to slice the head right off one of the distracted beasts.

Meanwhile the fight against the Rökorm was just not going well at all as the pair were practically dancing around it without any real progress. Nymira was getting all caught up against the Vazra while Ethan was running around like an idiot. It was very close to ending up with Ethan being left to deal with the big guy himself which wouldn’t do at all. Nymira had to fight that thing too whether she wanted to or not. It shouldn’t be that hard, but somehow she was managing to make it difficult for herself by practically panicking around the Vazra. Maybe someday the pair would get that same feeling of routine that Kensen had, but he didn’t count on it happening anytime soon. If it came down to it he would have to kill it himself, but maybe eventually they will learn that they have to work together to get the job done.

Spinning around in the air he took another dive down at the Vazra, dodging one making a leap for him only to tear his kunai through its body. The moment he hit the ground he caught himself with his hands and feet, his knee on the ground as he waited for the Vazra to get close before flying up in a spinning tornado, sending them on their backs and stunning them. “Hey! You two should try combining your magic, maybe??” he called out to them as he stopped in the air, the wind magic dissipating around him, “You’re wind and fire, right? So why not fire tornado!” As if to show off what he was capable of he suddenly threw his hand downwards, the wind immediately spinning into a tornado before he threw down his other hand, the ground lighting up in flames before they were dragged into the tornado, creating a fire whirl that he dragged through the Vazra as they once again grew confused and disorientated by the strange display of natural elements combined. He knew Gage was only going to get annoyed at him for being a show-off, but annoying the old man was fun sometimes.
Shu just never could figure it out, how people knew what flavours went well and how people decided this was the best way to figure out the food’s taste. He was definitely a little jealous, but he knew if he was never going to get a skill like that anyway when he wasn’t very good at making food dishes in the first place. There was only so much he could be good at and most things that occurred in real society was definitely something he was very good at. He could barely dress properly nevermind make food dishes, so that task was left to his own discovery and appreciation for people who could, even if it was something as incredibly simple as this fruit. “It really good…very really good…” Getting a mild fright when the he realised he could hear the announcer clearly from here he looked around before to Sasha, nodding quickly before they headed on back. Once they were back in he stared at the stage for a moment before he hiccupped when he was nudged, looking up to Sasha curiously, soon bouncing on his feet. “Ooh! Yes! I would like very much! I be very good today too so even better!”

With the stage set and everything cleaned up it was time to get the next match going, this time Takeshi going up against someone by the name of Jura. With Takeshi heading into the ring his opponent did too, a Uuonoe citizen too by the looks of it. They were somewhat skinny and a bit tall but fairly enthusiastic as instead of facing Takeshi with determination they turned around and waved at the crowd. The feeling that this tournament was all for fun no matter the injury was pretty deep in Jura, even as Takeshi started stretching and talking as if he had already won. “What? Convincing? I just wanna have fun, yo!” they called out, or rather she did as it turned out Jura was female, “Maybe not pretend you’re the bad guy here with that attitude!” The moment the announcer made the call to start Jura was straight in, moving fast and straight in with a spinning kick.

Viral glanced over at Yumi, sighing as she decided to tell him off. She was the one who suggested going out and now she was all chastising him. It wasn’t her decision to make, especially when she was going to shout at him. He didn’t know what was going to happen in the future but if he died then that was it, there was no need to care anymore. Grumbling a little he tried to find a way to make himself feel more comfortable, but he could hardly move so all he managed was a slight shift in position before he had to give up. “They just want me to be something I’m not…” he mumbled, knowing that all three of them were actively protesting against his ability to kill easily, “Aito and Vegeta…they just want me to filter out what the RRA wanted me to be. Korian though…he knows of the atrocities I’ve committed and has every right to hate me for it. The only reason he backs out…is because he knows he’s outnumbered. He’s terrified of what I’m capable of…”

Viral could’ve done without Yumi getting all upset with him, it didn’t help to talk to her about these things if all she did was get all upset. He had nobody else to raise his concerns with that didn’t treat him like something that had to be fixed, but all she was capable of doing was getting all upset about it. It often made him a little annoyed at himself, all he was doing was telling the truth and yet she was having none of it, acting like a bit of a child again. He was certainly irritated by that constant telling off, it gave him no reassurance that maybe something could be done about it instead of constantly denying it. Sighing when she tried to settle it down with a thank you he closed his eyes, the pain hardly easing just because he was attempting to relax. “I don’t need thanks, I was just doing what I was supposed to do…and not go off forgetting that everyone else existed…” he spoke lowly, “You should just focus on not looking terribly injured while I try and figure out a way to make the Empire pay for this…”
Link knew he had to get it together, everyone was depending on him, or maybe they weren’t after locking away part of who he was. He was just someone who was wandering along with them at this point who was proving to be pretty useless and not athletic enough to save someone important. Maybe now that he was on even ground and not wanting to kill himself on his ascent, Caelan sharing the same thoughts too. Sighing when he suggested he go forward he waved his hand gently to say it was okay, his eyes going to Regol who was on the verge of making fun of them on the spot. Good thing the guy couldn’t talk, it certainly helped him avoid unnecessary aggression because of his poor choice of words. “This Princess better be worth all this…”

Watching as a map was manifested he stared at it for a moment, watching as Regol’s finger pointed them in the direction they were going to take. She was still so far away, but what was worse was they had to go through the place rather than up or through secret passages. This meant they were going to have to dodge a certain someone or else she’d see through their disguises. “I’ve uhh…seen how soldiers usually walk…so uhh, lead the way. I don’t particularly want to die in this place so let’s not get caught too”. He knew the danger that getting caught brought and he didn’t have a means to attack back. He should probably stay in the back if that was the case, these two could use magic after all.
Nice, thought you vanished!

I'll get a post in tomorrow, been busy trying to get all the things done which has been a pain.
Shu frowned at the drinking analogy, not really understanding what it was supposed to mean but shaking it off either way. It probably wasn’t important and probably one of those things adults say when trying to make an example. It would be an awfully strange thing to be drinking water for a challenge, but maybe he shouldn’t question her words too much and just take it as it is. Smiling happily when he was given the option to get whatever he bounced on his feet. “Ooh! Sounds good to me!” he spoke quickly before looking to Takeshi and Ricken. He was a little disappointed that they didn’t want something, snacks were fairly high energy after all and would probably give them the extra boost, at least he saw them as high energy. He was often quite excitable when he had a snack before an event like this so maybe he could pull off extra moves once he had his next match.

Following along after Sasha he kept looking back every so often, his interest taken on the people all around him. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves so he should try and enjoy himself a little bit more too and maybe a snack would help him out. Once they reached the stalls he stood on his toes briefly to get a better look, but everybody was taller than him and in big crowds. He didn’t know what there was but Sasha seemed to know as she went to get something or rather knew where to go to get something for him. He had absolutely no idea what she was going to get him, he could only stand there in anticipation. Once she finally turned around he reached out and took the strange looking fruit, tilting his head a little before he let out a squeak. “Ooh! Gooey sweet tart! No real sure what tart is…” Deciding ultimately to just go with it he took in a deep breath before biting into the sweetened fruit, shaking his head quickly at first before bouncing on his toes. “Ooh! Yummy yummy! It strange! Tingly and sweet and strange…” he spoke quickly, contemplating the fruit for a moment, “Strange how people make these things…like how do think of? It so strange with the mixing of things for new flavour!”

Well that was going to be a problem, especially on his part. Viral knew he was supposed to had eliminated the threat and then tried to assist the city after it, but instead they were all stuck in hospital. “Hmm right…great. What a disaster…” They would just have to leave once he was able to move properly again, they couldn’t be out here for too long or suspicions would be raised at the base. He should have at least some energy by then, but all this healing was going to completely exhaust him to the point where he wondered if he’ll actually be able to walk straight away even with his wounds healed. Then there was everything that was happening at the base, what with Aito trying to get him to full strength again and sharpen his skills. He was going to be a complete mess, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do.

Frowning when the doctor questioned his decision regarding the report he let out a slight sigh. He knew that was probably too much to ask, but hopefully he did recover quickly to get that written. He could always put on that his energy levels were fine once his wounds were all healed up and then get the report, then once they got to the ship he could rest up there. It sounded like a fair plan but would probably end up being a bit of a dud too if things didn’t quite go as planned and he ended up barely able to walk. “Fine…I’ll just have to show you how fast I can heal, then…” he sighed, “There will be nothing left to mend by the time by the end of the week…”

Once the doctor had finally left he simply sighed and tried to relax some more, feeling fed up already. He didn’t know how he was going to sleep, especially with Yumi being as yappy as she was. It was annoying on many parts but he would have to deal with it, giving her a room to herself would just be stretching the hospital’s resources too far. Groaning when she started to talk again he slowly looked over to her, staring at her as she talked like they were on holiday or something. She was just full of nonsense right now and it really bugged him. “We can’t go anywhere, not unless you want me to die…” he spoke lowly, “This city’s nearly destroyed, mostly because of me…now I wish you’d shut up about all this stupid nonsense. I’m on more crap than you and all I want to do is die. Would certainly be better than going back and saying how I just killed again…didn’t capture them like we were told to. What am I supposed to say when I get back…”
Shu stared at Sasha, wondering why she was changing her mind all of a sudden before he remembered why again. This was still part of the act of making him not worried about everything, he had to keep that in mind for everything that was being said to him tonight. Sighing lightly he clasped his hands together, bouncing on his toes a little. “Oooohh…really? He does always act weird when winning is a thing that can happen”, he spoke slowly, looking over to him briefly, “I know it not the winning that is the good, it is the fun! Fun for Shu! Fun so long as nobody on the side get hurt, yes…” One thing he hoped for was he was going to be able to do this little tournament fine and not hurt people who were sitting on the side-lines again. It would be an awfully sad time if someone on the side got hurt because of him. “Ooh! Yes! That where I found Takeshi! Martial Arts Tournament! It was fun, won money but no really wanting the money much”, he spoke quickly, remembering the time until the thought was interrupted by Sasha asking if he wanted a snack. “Ooh! Yummy food? Yes yes! Please yummy food! Something sweet? Do they give people in tournament sweet food?”

Viral wasn’t one for complaining about how he felt so it was fairly hard to be specific on what was going on with him, even if he knew it was important. It will still take a few days for him to fully heal from such devastating injuries, but he was still going to work through it and try to get moving as soon as possible. It was his fault that he was in this mess, he wasn’t strong willed enough to have finished the fight before the Saiyan could pull off a last resort attack. He acted stupidly and that was it, who knew how many he actually killed with his attacks overall too. “Even if you didn’t have her all drugged up, she’d still act that way…” he spoke lowly, sighing lightly, “She doesn’t seem to realise the more she moves me around, the slower I heal…”

Listening to the doctor when the others were mentioned he frowned, glancing in Yumi’s direction before looking away again. He was responsible for Yumi getting so injured so hearing that didn’t help at all, it just made him feel worse and even more angry at himself. “Hmm…they’re capable of doing work around the city…” he spoke lowly before frowning, “I am supposed to be in charge of them…” He was responsible for what happened and even if the rest would insist that he wasn’t to blame he was still going to be angry with himself. He was angry at himself and the Saiyan Empire, just everything was giving him every reason to go solo and do everything himself. He wasn’t fit to look after people he knew personally, not like this at least. “Once I’m out…we have to leave. We’re already using precious resources being here…”

Being given a moment to himself he groaned lightly and rested his head properly again, already feeling fed up. He knew it was going to take a long time to heal compared to other times, but it was that length of time he was going to have to spend here that was going to bother him. He wanted to get out of here and not take up unnecessary space and resources, this place was already on the verge as it is. He would just sleep the time away, but that was probably not a great option when he had a tendency to dream of past events rather than have actual dreams at this point in his life. Frowning as the doctor returned to the door, his eyes following him over. “Just…if your team ever get asked to write a report for the rebel team…just mention it was minor injuries for me. You’d be doing me a big favour if you did have to…”
