With some difficulty, the entrance to the Temple was pried open.

The expanse was utterly, completely empty. Polished marble composed every surface, but besides the walls, ceiling, and floor, it seemed that there was nothing to be found. Perhaps that was a trick of the eyes, and there could be materials or even living beings inside the Temple, but on first glance it seemed to be utterly empty.

Wrong.

Still from the outside, though, Shiba would likely notice something.

There were no windows. There were no fires. The only opening to the outside was the door he had just opened, and the interior was polished marble on every surface.

So then...

...how was the interior perfectly lit?
@Jangel13

The area near the cave held plenty of Horned Rabbits amidst the trees, veiled from sight to someone who was focusing more on moving than on looking for them. However, after not too brief a period of Shiba's running, the landscape seemed to change slightly, the density of the forest petering out with each step. Though, in his haste, he had failed to come across even a single Horned Rabbit thus far, at least the previous area seemed like they were present if he elected to look. The area he was now in, though...it felt...empty, desolate, separated from the rest of the forest.

In the back of his mind, something whispered to him in a sense beyond sight. A sense of unease hung in the air, the feeling of some transcendent wrongness filling the expanse.

Before Shiba, following a slight upward incline in the ground and resting atop a small hill, was a stone structure made of a polished white. Even though it was obviously abandoned, from the grand doors that depicted various events of human lore to the pillars that held the structure up, it could be called nothing short of immaculate. It was a temple of some sort, an abandoned place of worship for humans. Perhaps this was what the Matron had been referring to?

There were no signs of life, save for Shiba. No movement, no breathing, no sounds, no heat. It was simply him, the air of wrongness, and the closed doors of the temple.
so right now we just go our own ways so does that mean we can say we found a rabbit or a python or whatever then you will roll a dice or something saying if we killed it or not or how will it work?

I will RP all enemies, unless there's such a huge gap in abilities that you guys can kill it automatically.

Hey! I will likely only be gone for a few days

I was just joking~

Anyway, with that, the RP's properly begun. From hereon, I won't be waiting for everyone to post before posting, as that'll be unsuitable when you guys are off doing different things. As a result, we should move more fluidly now.

Also, your first "quest" of sorts is open: finding out where the older Goblin generation is. Simple enough, but it could be very dangerous, if you're not careful~
The Matron nodded slightly as each of the newborns introduced themselves, taking note of the variance in their now-grown appearances. Still supporting herself against the cave wall, she looked out over the group and spoke up once more.

"Children, I will not mince words." The Matron choked out, her figure shuddering slightly from either exhaustion or hunger, perhaps both. "The Goblins that sired your generation have gone...missing. Without them, our food supplies are dwindling. You are to hunt for food, as you are grown, and you will do so in their stead."

For Garou, and any others who happened to peer outside the cave, the world outside was a dense, wooden forest. Not a jungle or a rainforest, but something more akin to the forest on a mountainside. Some meager sunlight filtered down from above, making the outside surroundings visible.

"In the area immediately around us, your prey should be the horned rabbits. They are small, four-legged things with a large horn protruding from their heads. They move quickly, and their horn can be dangerous, but you should be able to hunt them. If you exit the cave and continue forwards for some time, you will find a structure made by other beings called 'humans'. No humans have lived here since long ago, but be wary of that place nonetheless. There is a river not far from here that you can drink from, but if you follow it too far then you will reach a lake. That lake is a common hunting area for mature Goblins, it has many kinds of prey and fruits to harvest, but it may be too dangerous for you newborns."

"I cannot come with you; I must stay here, but if you find something strange or frightening, you should immediately run away. Your focus should be to replenish our food, nothing more. Go, children, and hunt well."
@Moonlit Sonata

My computer is broken, and I can't post.

You'll have to move on without me, I'll rejoin when I can.
Sowwy!

RIP

So...what's your number one? A ladder?

Number one is a secret.

Number one is also so insanely convoluted to get, I can hardly believe it myself.
<Snipped quote by Moonlit Sonata>

They told me I could be anything

So I became a rope

I'm not even joking, or anything.

Rope's in the top five on my personal rankings.

Considering how many paths there are, that means a lot.
<Snipped quote by Moonlit Sonata>

......a sentient pile of rope.....I don't see that being strong. The only God thing is the warp space deal but honestly is it worth it to be a pile of rope?

The rope and the Space-Warping Deity-Class Existence are completely different.

The rope's much stronger.

You are the best, most prepared GM ever if you actually have this much planned out

I know, I know, I'm great.
