I'm off today so hoping things are eventful
good morning all!....well...afternoon
The space in the pits of Blithe's subconscious mind that was home to Ritter had changed. What once was a blank void of forgotten memories and whispers was now some kind of forest. Trees towered into the darkness with no visible canopy in sights, and what once were whispers now hissed between the tree's as wind. Deep within the thicket, at the heart of the forest, Ritter stood tall, his long slender arms extended. As he gained his senses bestowed by the merging with his new host, his shapeless face began to take on features. A silver mane fell down from his scalp, dangling freely across his pale visage. Eyes ripped open from sealed skin and looked out into the darkness. They were white like pearls and emotionless. Ritter grasped at his face, stretching his jaw and scratching at the skin that slowly tore apart to reveal his mouth. Air flowed into his body before he let out a loud primal scream, echoing throughout the forest and into Blithe's conscious mind.

I...I can see?
Through the eyes of his new host, Ritter was finally able to clearly perceive the world. The air was cool as it washed over his senses and the color were brilliant as the flowed into his mind. It wasn't his mind however. he could only feel and see what was felt and seen by Blithe. Her mind was cluttered with memories and thoughts, filled with emotions of all kinds. Among them, pain and sorrow. It was here that Ritter planted a single idea. To Blithe, it was too small to notice. To the entity within her, it was the madness from which his powers would now bloom.

What are you....
A question arose from the thoughts of the host in which Ritter now existed. "What am I..." He repeated. His words silently whispered in Blithe's mind, barely distinguishable from her own thoughts. "I am the growing solution to the lies of reality. But a single wave in the tides of peace and war. I am your sword and you are my freedom. Together we are the end and the beginning of the new existence." What was nonsense to most was like a bible to Ritter. His ideas and goals all summed up as madness.
Alright. the hard part of my character intro is done. I'll be revealing my character through you blithe.
....Merge....
Blithe took the being's hand firmly. In return, it clasped her hand tightly and shook. The world began to shake. It rattled as it seemed to fall apart. The surrounding trees fell and the sky shattered. The pale head of the entity began to twitch, the place where it's mouth should have been stretched and tore, pulling apart to reveal a manacle smile. Bellowing from it's throat was a frighteningly loud and deep laugh. It ascended into a cackle and echoed throughout the thoughts of Blithe as the dream around them fell into oblivion. A painful energy surged into the student, filling her with power for several seconds before dissipating into a numb tingle that faded slowly. The pendant that was once in her sleeping hands now rested snugly around her neck. Not visible to her, a thin circle of black appeared around the iris of her eye. In her mind, there was something there. Something that now made it's home in her thoughts. A name that, if called upon, would summon the entity from her dreams.

Ritter
By this point, most have attempted to flee or wake up. But this soul was different. It didn't express the fear that others held. In the blink of an eye, the entity was gone. Only a tree stood in it's place. Instead, the presence of the being appeared to come from behind Blithe again. This time, the entity didn't move. It was a tall, suited, man like entity with pale skin and a featureless face that almost seemed to scrunch into a smile. It was motionless but held out it's hand. There were no sounds or words exchanged. Instead, it seemed as though it wanted to shake her hand. To create some form of contract. In her head, there was static. It hissed and cracked but seemed to represent something. The details of the contract. They were blurry in her thoughts but somehow made sense. In exchange for partnership and freedom, the faceless creature offered it's powers. It indicated a price but a small one. Only a bit of her sanity. The tree's around them shook and howled now, though there was no wind.
