*No effects become visible in the pendant despite the actions of Araby. Instead, the ominous aura simply begins to seep out of the stone once more, like an intangible fog.*

*The stone grasped in the pendant's silver embrace was as black as obsidian and seemed to have depth, like staring into a dark cave.*

*Frigid to the touch, the necklace tingles lightly as it comes to rest around Araby's neck. The strange aura the pendant gave off calmed and dissipated, and the drowsy effects over Alucard subsided.*

*The pendant gleams ominously as it slips through Alucard's sleepy fingers and tumbled onto the ground before the curious entity.*

*As Alucard responded to Shinji, something moved in the corner of his vision. A shadow in the distance, watching as the two handled the jewel. The image was blurry and stood just outside of his direct line of sight. Upon looking at it, the figure would vanish, as if it never existed in the first place.*

*The pendant glimmered ominously. The longer anyone held the necklace, the more a subtle feeling of drowsiness would begin to set in. An influence of slumber slowly spread into the subconscious mind of anyone in possession of the stone for long enough.*

*Within the stone, a presence began to awaken and grow. The entity was deep within the stones anomalous recesses, cut off from reality. In spite of this, the chattering minds of the beings all around whispered into the jewel's void like hissing winds. The sounds and signs of life brought a sense of purpose back to the mind of the imprisoned entity.*
