Esmond rigidly stood in front of the window, staring dumbly at Chica. He stayed that way for a straight minute. He then turned off the light, made sure the door was still shut, and went back to his chair and sat down, pretending that the last few minutes didn't happen.
"...I would prefer it if none of them came in here," Esmond muttered.

After he closed the right door, he tried to look out the window of the office for sudden movements, but couldn't see anything in the murky darkness. He looked and located a small white button next to the door button, labeled 'light'. He pushed the button curiously, only to see a large animatronic chicken directly outside the room. He stared at the animatronic like a deer in the headlights – eyes wide, mouth ajar, and his hand still frozen on the white button.
Esmond didn't wait for a response. "I'm going to go close the door." He got up from his chair and slammed the right door's button, closing the heavy metal door. He could also hear a raspy song coming from somewhere, which unnerved him. He was starting to regret taking this job.
"Here, I got it," Esmond said while bending down to grab the tablet. He was a little off-put from Zelena's screaming about the anamatronics, but decided to be nice. They were going to work together, after all.

Picking up the tablet, he took a quick glance at it before handing it back to Zelina. "Is that duck...chicken...thing moving towards us?" He asked, concerned. "Should I go close the door? I mean, they told us to reserve power, but, uh, I don't want that coming in here..."

((Well, uh, we both posted at the same time, ahaha... I guess they could have picked it up together?))
Esmond nodded, but was still dubious. They were just some creepy anamatronics... Right?

He peered over Zelena's shoulder, to get a better view of the cameras. He glared at her when she started speaking in a creepy voice, but said nothing.
"Uhhhh... You're joking, right? They're just anamatronics... Did it like... Fall on them?" He asked, apprehensive. People had played jokes on him before on his first night on the job, they weren't funny...

He remembered his first night at one of his old jobs, at a fast-food chain resturant. The other workers had convinced him that the fryer in the back room was haunted, and then proceeded to lock him inside said back room. He was fired for screaming bloody murder, which apparently scared the customers. Well, they weren't locked in a creepy room with a haunted fryer, now were they?

Returning from his short faze of a flashback, he looked around for the tablet.
"Oh, alright. Do they... Usually cause a lot of trouble? I can't really see what an anamatronic would do to cause trouble..." Esmond muttered, stretching. "And no, I didn't come yesterday. I had a real bad headache and my jerk of a roommate wouldn't stop bothering me."

He then looked up, and around. "Where's the camera tablet thingy? Aren't we supposed to keep surveillance?"
"Hmm." Esmond said, "Me either."

He then turned around to face Zelina. "So, our job here is to basically watch the cameras, right?" He asked her. "I missed the first day, so..."
Esmond stepped into the old room, looking around. "Yeah... Your brown-haired male acquaintance requested me to pass on a message to you. He said that a message should play here around 12... Which seems to be now." He said, grabbing the chair next to Zelina and sitting down. When the message played, he half-heartily listened, and flinched when he heard a scream.

"Uhh. Was the scream part of the message?" He asked Zelina.
Esmond turned around, looking at the girl. "Yes. My name is... Edge," He said, using his self-given nickname to introduce himself. "And you are Zelena, correct?"
