(((((This a roleplay takes place in the mid 16th century in an alternate take in European politics. Meaning there are no Tudors, no Cortes or any of there facts known to history. It will be a fictional made world. But Lutheranism is still very much real. I need female to play the lady in question. There is going to be no mature scenes except for the blood shed to come later on. This is high casualish in terms of writing. I would prefer this to be threw email, but I can accommodate threw pm or thread here on the guild.)))))
Lady (Name) has been married to King Edvard of Denmark for two years without producing an heir. While still young and able, she is beautiful, intelligent, a true lady to the Catholic faith and beloved by all. With the exception of her husband. Now however she is accused of being both barren and a lair of being a virgin in the first place. Annulling the marriage to Lady (Name) and sending her back to her father who is now embroiled with aggressive negotiations with the French. Who is threatening to invade and wipe out her country from the face of the earth. Facing the hardship of extinction, her father begged and pleaded her to go to Spain in attempt to gain the favor of King Alvaro III to help combat the French threats and court him if she must.
She had heard of Alvaro in both his exploits in immense gold coming back from the new world and being able to reunite the Portuguese to the whole of the peninsula under Spanish rule without lifting the sword, a notion that the Papacy has called him Fidei defensor. Defender of the faith. With his wealth, standing armies and backing of church had been the reason to send her to Spain.
Before she had set sail though, Lady (Name's) father had told her if she could to try and bring about the idea of marriage to Alvaro. In uniting their country with Spain for peace, unity and the saving of her country. Setting sail for Spain she weighed out the proposition that her father asked. While she didn't oppose, she also didn't think marrying again so soon after annulment. However though she welcomed being brought back into strong Catholic lands and into the lands of the faithful. Exhaling a sigh as the ship rocked in the water.
The carriage on her arrival to the royal court she had seen wagons ladled with gold, silver and other riches going out of the palace. When she had inquired about the wagons going out, one of the guards spoke simply with joy. Telling her that they were for the denizens under the Spanish rule so that may prosper. The journey here she never heard one bad thing about the Spanish king. Now entering the court, with heavy heart and bearing the nerves of her people on this man she never met. Hoping to persuade him to ally to her father and if necessary to wed the man.
