Chou vs Kyoko? Well, this outta be interesting.
And thus, my post became a black hole that sucked Windel and Drew in, only to never be heard from ever again.
Heading towards where the matches would take place, Kuni repeated in her head where Reyna's match would take place. She promised to her new friend that she will be there to cheer for her and she was going to fulfill that promise. Doing a light jog on the way there, She hoped that she wasn't going to be late or anything.
After a few minutes she arrived at the arena and went to where the people were beginning to sit down before the match. She went and got a seat at the front row, wanting to see everything as clearly as possible without anyone to be in her line of sight. After sitting there for a moment and playing with her thumbs a bit, she saw Reyna at one of the entrances to the arena. She immediatly stood up and waved "Hey! Reyna! You can do it!" She said before lowering her hands and focusing her sight on Reyna's face. The expression appeared kind of... odd. Not like the expression Reyna had on the day they had a match. Slowly sitting down, Kuni wondered if everything was fine with her, and made herself a note in her mind to go see Reyna after the match and properly talk to her, even if its on the way back to the hotel.
Waking up slowly due to the announcement, Mana tried to listen as carefully as she could while rubbing her eyes. Group A2, B4, and C1 of Titan, Fae and Demon respectively needed to meet up at Rendezvous Point Charlie for sparring practice in ninety minutes. She yawned a bit while rubbing her eyes some more and then it struck her. Group B4. That was her group. Jumping out of her bed, she looked at how much time she had. Due to how unfocused she was prior to this, she hadn't noticed at which time exactly the announcement was made, so she had to assume it has been about five minutes since.
Quickly moving to her wardrobe, she went and took out the first set of clothes she could see and matched each other. A white sleeveless shirt and a pair of blue shorts. She enjoyed wearing that so much, that she had went and bought the same shirt and pair of shorts three times. She had other clothes, but in times like these, when she had a limited time to arrive somewhere, she knew she couldn't start over thinking it.
Throwing the large shirt she was wearing away, Mana put on her undergarments and then her clothes as quickly as she could before going to brush her teeth. She then realised that her toothpaste had just run out and she barely had any on her brush. Fantastic. Brushing nevertheless and giving herself a mental note to get more toothpaste, she wondered how much longer she still had. Due to the fact it was a sparring training, she knew that she could just take her bag without most of her stuff.
Quickly going to her bag and moving all the stuff she didn't need onto her desk, Mana wondered if she should take her tablet. Deciding that she'll try and pay attention to all of the training matches that will occur, she then went andleft her room, with only 30 minutes left. Knowing it will take her longer than that to arrive, she already started to think on apologies she could tell whoever will be incharge there.
Heading to the train, she saw there was one in the station and made a dash for it, She just barely made it through the doors and a second later they were closed and the train begun heading towards where she needed to arrive at.
Taking a seat and looking out the window, Mana couldn't see anyone else who was also late so she figured that most of the people had managed to catch earlier trains to there. Looking at the clock, she knew it still had an hour to reach the station and then a bit of walking, but she was already running late. She then let out a yawn and leaned a bit back in her chair, figuring that if she is late then she doesn't really have a reason to hide why she was really late.

After an hour passed, Mana let out another yawn while getting off the train station. She looked at the time and wasn't surprised to see that she arrived just when they were supposed to be there already. Letting out a sigh, she quickly made her way towards the site.
Arriving there after five more minutes, she could see just about all of her classmates and many others that she didn't quite know. Mana went and approached one of the instructors there and begun apologizing to him repeatedly a few times until he told her to merely get herself ready and go join all of the others who were already there and preparing themselves. Putting her bag where many other students had placed their bags, she went and joined the other students, hoping not to attract the wrong type of attention to herself by arriving late.

Hearing the boy was still talking to her even while she thought she made a clear sign she did not wish to talk to anyone made Yoshikuni sigh. So he tried to claim she was in his history class. How was she supposed to remember everyone who was in her class if she didn't talk that much to everyone? She rolled her eyes under her closed eyelids before opening them, looking at the boy and shrugging, not fully replying to him.
Suddenly the spacequake alarms had stopped. It seemed that because she had not maintained and activated the spacequake then it just stopped occuring a short while after she had went to her human form. Considering the fact it didn't went off made Yoshikuni think that the AST might underestimate her next time she encounters them, which means she could easily surprise them with her more offensive ability. Smiling upon thinking about that, she got up from the seat and while ignoring the boy, she went and blended in the crowd of people who started leaving the shelter. Unfortunatly, she didn't manage to find Suichi-kun, so she figured she went with the other girl to another shelter.
As the students begun leaving the shelter, they were instructed to go back to the school, which remained in one piece, and that the lessons will resume shortly. Slightly annoyed, Yoshikuni made a frustated sound before heading in the direction of the school. She thought that maybe the school day will end, but it seemed like that was not going to be the case.
Hearing the man that came in and decided that Kyoko would be his volunteer for a little something, Chou wanted to protest, but Kyoko had already stood up and went to the stadium. Thinking about what the DEM said more thoroughly, Chou stood up, making many eyes turn to her, including the commander "I'm sorry, but all of the seminars held previously were always by the government, not by DEM. The seminars were always announced a week prior as well. What caused these sudden changes?" She said in a solid voice, and only a couple more AST agents nodded in agreement, wanting to know what happened.
The rest had caught the look on the commander's face upon seeing Chou and hearing what she had to say. The commander stood up and looked at the DEM person for a second "This will only take a moment." She said, before approaching Chou and then hitting her on the head with a karate chop "I told you that you will have my wrath. After this, to my office." She spoke in a clear and loud voice, making several of the surronding agents shiver a bit, and Chou went back to sitting, rubbing her head a bit.
The commander went back to sitting and then gave Kyoko a reassuring nod "Please continue, Mister Nagato-sama. She said, though there was a hint of disgust in her voice when she said the word 'sama'.

Windel, DEM isnt the ones responsible for the Salary of the girls.... the AST is part of the military run by the government. The Government is the one responsible for their salaries. DEM has a say on a few things regarding the AST because of their contract with the government, and if thhe government decides to stop the contract, DEM can take all of the fancy fighting equiqment away in a blink of an eye.
Thats the reason DEM has a say with AST.
Fun Fact about canon Date A Live: According to one of the side stories, one about Mana, it showed that Mana had a fight that caused a lot of damage before becoming Adeptus 2. The damages were valued 5 million pounds (UK). Ellen told Mana that she will need to stay with DEM until she paid off her debt, and with her regular salary and any possible salary raises, it would take her 100 years.
Then Ellen told Mana that if she manages to kill a spirit, she would pay her 5 million pounds. After seeing Mana be surprised, she changed her phrasing and said she would pay Mana 5 million for each time she kills a spirit.
Anyone wanna find out how many times Mana killed Kurumi? x3
