After the post-mission checkup went fine for her, Kuni first went to do her own check up of Dee. She wanted to ensure that her combat drone did not get hit by any debris that she may have missed while still on the outside and not having the full focus on it. It had taken her a bit of time, but after looking over Dee about four times, she was finally satisfied and felt confident enough to say that her drone had not been harmed in any capacity throughout the mission.

With that done, it was finally time for her to head to the dorm room. One thing she was certain of was that her roommate, Mila, was most likely already there. And indeed, opening the door to the room, Kuni found Mila standing in the middle of it. Entering the room and closing it, Kuni went and placed her bag next to the edge of her bed, while Mila began calling to her for assistance. Turning to look in Mila's direction, she let out a small sigh "Yeah, I'll try helping. Though not sure to what extent I can help, considering I wasn't with your team and can't quite determine which details would be considered useless or not." She told her roommate.

Approaching the common working desk, Kuni did began to go over the details, making small marks next to details she thought were unneeded or rather irrelevant. Mila gathered a lot of information, that was for certain. When Mila suddenly asked how she was doing and saying that it was only if she wanted to help, Kuni turned to her and offered a smile "I'm doing good. Didn't get injured in the mission or anything, and Dee is doing good too. As for helping with this, I'm happy to. We're roommates, after all." She told her.

When Mila brought up the suggestion to socialize, Kuni rose her eyebrows a bit "I guess we could. Any topics in your mind? Or anything in particular you want to do?" She asked, while moving her gaze back to the screen, resuming the process of marking the details she deemed were irrelevant.

And like that, the large Invader died, and the battle had ended. After giving the area a quick scan through Dee's camera, Kuni sighed and then went to make her way to the rest of her teammates. She listened as they were apparently commended for taking down the threat that had been present, but Kuni just let the note pass by her. Her current priority was to ensure that her team was still doing fine. She let her focus shift away from them, and she didn't like that one bit.

Finally arriving with the team, she watched as Lucia arrived, and muttered something that wasn't audible to Kuni, before walking and catching up to R.R., most likely to talk to her. After getting Dee to go down to her height, she looked over it briefly, before spotting Mila, who was carrying someone unconscious. Kuni gave Dee herself as a target, and instructed it to follow target, before walking with some haste, going to catch up to her roommate.

Once she caught up to Mila, she looked over her, wanting to make sure that she seemed alright. Without saying a word, Kuni simply offered a nod of approval.

Taking care of the second sensor went without any issues, and Kuni was glad for it. But before she could start examining their way back to the rendezvous point, a large explosion had occurred. Lucia was faster than her, immediately asking over the comes what had happened, and after a brief exchange between her and R.R., both went off with their top speed. Giving Akari a brief nod, she started making her way as well, following Lucia and R.R.'s footsteps.

On their way to the site of the explosion, Kuni instructed Dee to rise, going up to the top height it can and moving forward, towards the crash site. She finally managed to see the destroyed sensor through Dee's camera, and also the large invader that was there. As it was clear that people were already engaged with it, Kuni started to already study the movement patterns of the large invader. The faster she could try and help formulate a plan, the better.

Arriving at the site, Kuni went and found herself a relative safe spot and begun lowering Dee, while also instructing it to prepare its guns. As she was about to give further instructions to Dee on her tablet, Kuni caught site of how several individuals were sent flying away, with Lucia being among them. While worried, she quickly spotted R.R. moving in to catch her teammate. So at the very least, Lucia's brief flight would be cushioned to some degree. Having seen that, she moved her full attention back to giving instructions to the drone, while also listening to the ongoing conversation between the different people that were in the area.

"I'd have to agree with Hiro. Having studied it myself on the way here, through the eye in the sky that is my drone, I believe that cornering it will provide our best chance at taking it down." She quickly said over the comms. After doing so, Dee would begin to start shooting at the Invader, clearly trying to push it in the intended direction "I should also mention that I believe the random attack pattern it is currently showcasing must indicate that something has gone wrong with it, meaning that our best chance would likely be now." Kuni added, maneuvering Dee as she kept making her drone shoot at the invader.

"I would personally prefer not being launched." Kuni told Akari, keeping her eyes fixed on the tablet as she did "I'll send Dee ahead of us, to the top of the hill so I'll be able to get a better grasp of the upcoming area." She also told her team and R.R., before inputting the instructions into the tablet. The drone would soon leave their side and hover higher, quickly making its way up the hill.

When the comm message from Tian-Gui came in, Kuni's eyes moved to R.R., who was quick to beg that they don't respond. Or at least, that they don't mention she is with them "Wouldn't she just yell at you later then?" She briefly asked, before moving her eyes back to the tablet.

Looking through Dee's camera, Kuni didn't see any obvious, out in the open threats. However, there was something else that came up. It was a much larger threat, one that didn't move quite like the rest of the Invaders, but also kept to itself. She briefly tried to figure out what it could be, but without any visibility to it, Kuni felt that making assumptions for something that big would be counter-productive.

"Before we start moving ahead," Kuni started to speak, moving to look at her team "There is a much larger target in the area, one that appears to not share the movement patterns of the other Invaders, and also keeping to itself. We need to stay alert, just in case." She told them "Aside from that, our path still appears clear, and Dee's camera indicates no obvious threats on the way up the hill. I'll have it turn and scan the other side of the hill now. Once she finished speaking, her eyes went back to the tablet, when she tapped a few new instructions for her drone, hoping to see nothing but clear path on the camera.

Listening to R.R.'s response, Kuni kept her eyes on the tablet. Through Dee's eyes, she could see the sensor by using his increased height. When R.R. asked who the Linker was, Kuni simply raised her hand for a brief moment before returning it to the tablet "Let's follow R.R.'s path for the time being. Should anything happen, I already found three other paths for us to use, but I see no immediate danger." She stated to the other three girls.

The way to the first sensor was much quieter, making Kuni had also decrease Dee's hovering height to half of what it was. From what she could tell, there weren't any visible threats on the way, and what little Invaders there were ran away as soon as they spotted the group. As the first sensor was in sight and getting closer, Kuni began working on finding the best path to the second sensor.

Once they reached the sensor, Lucia immediately went and started taking care of the task of changing the batteries. Probably for the best too, as if it was her that changed the battery, she would be tempted to start fixing everything she could see in there. And despite how safe it appeared to be now, something told her that if the sensors needed fixing, then they wouldn't send the teams for a mere battery change.

When Lucia was done, Kuni had already determined the optimal path for the next sensor "Next sensor is further south from our current location. I already found a path for us to go through, and it currently appears to be safe to go through. Should be 15 minutes and we'll reach it." She told them, turning to the south and looking ahead. There was a hill in that direction, which most likely meant the Sensor was on the opposite side of it "Climbing the hill may be tiring, but it is the fastest and most secure path. We'll be able to see any incoming attacks, should there be anymore." She told them, and turned her gaze from the tablet to the three girls.

American

Kuni is 1.8 meters tall, or 5"9 foot. She weighs about 68 kg, or 149 pounds. Her hair is brown, though it may appear as dark brown under darkness. Her eyes are probably the most interesting part about her, as they can appear to be both green and blue. Those who get to have a close look at her eyes can see that they are actually green, with an inner ring in her iris being blue.

• Bio •
Being born into the Durant family, Kuni's childhood was a particularly uneventful one. She was raised under the shadows of constantly being told of how her family was one of the greater innovator families back at the 19th century, when her great-grandfather's father helped form a car company. While this made her want to stand out less, it did invigorate her interest in engineering, and she started studying everything she could about machines from the age of six.

At the age of 9, she already showed quite high engineering capabilities when she constructed her own drone, one that successfully flied above the city they lived in, and made a safe return back. It did not survive a second flight due to an accident with a bird, but Kuni already felt quite fulfilled and happy with her achievement. She began making different drones, each one making her happy as she finished them and successfully tested them.

When she got to the age of 13, and she entered the 8th grade, Kuni began experiencing difficulties in her school. People did not understand why she was so focused on making silly toys, when the world was still dealing with the aliens. A few students had decided to prank her and got a hold of a few of her drones, and made a mess of them all. This hurt Kuni, who decided she didn't need the support or approval of the other students. All she needed was to keep herself focused on her engineering hobbies, but it was hard with the noise that came from all around.

Eventually, before she turned 14, Kuni found her shelter in music, and she started listening to music whenever she went outside of their house, and while at school. Her favorite types were orchestra pieces, as the way all of the instruments came together reminded her of how a well built engine can run if everything finds its right place.

When she turned 16, the bullying at the school had gotten worse, and her parents decided to move to Japan in order to try and help her find a new place to study at, one where she could have some peace. They also felt that she would be able to prosper there, as they felt Japan was quite advanced in the engineering department.

At the age of 17, she had received an offer to join the 2nd Tactical Arts Academy, as she apparently performed well during the National Center Test. While her parents were reluctant, Kuni convinced them to let her go there, as she felt that not only will she be able to help with the remainder of the fighting against the aliens, but she hoped that perhaps, she could help advance the tech they used to fight the invaders to a new level.

• Armament •
Kuni's armament comes in the shape of an offensive drone, which she dubbed Dee. It comes equipped with a pair of medium scaled laser blasters, and a small camera. Due to the weight that comes from the laser blasters and the camera, the drone normally does not hover too far off the ground, up to a maximum of 20 meters. Thanks to the camera, Kuni is capable of aiding her team by controlling the drone and scouting with it, beyond the normal capabilities of a Linker.

Dee has a secret compartment, one which can be accessed by anyone who knows how to open it. It can be used to store and hide things that can be deemed as things that need to be retrieved, but better to leave somewhere that won't be on the team. The compartment can store things that are about the size of 2 pistols that are side by side.

In order to give herself protection, Kuni has a small laser pistol on her person, which she was trained to use.

• Psychic Drive •
Kuni has the ability to make things and people hover, up to a few meters off the ground. The bigger the object or person, the more she needs to concentrate on making them hover. Whenever she makes something or someone hover, they gain a bluish aura around them. In order to make anything or anyone hover, she needs to see the object or person, and she cannot keep something hovering for an extended period of time (A minute at most, for hovering a person that weighs as much as her.)

She can control where the people or objects hover to, but the more things or people she makes hover, the less control she has. And if she reaches her limit, then everything and everyone will drop immediately, without any warning. Finally, she can only control the speed of the hover if she concentrates on a single thing or person. Any more, and everything that hovers will be hovering as a relatively slow speed.

• Extra •

~ While Dee is her combat-ready drone, Kuni also has a smaller drone, Mio, one that is pocket sized. It also has a camera equipped, but no weapons, and it also has a VI installed on it. Kuni normally keeps the knowledge of it to herself, and takes it out whenever she feels like having some company, but not human company.

~ Kuni will normally have headphones on her person, and typically covering her ears or in her ears, depending on the type. It's how she learned to avoid contact with people. It does not mean she always listens to music.

~ As a prodigy engineer, Kuni has an eye for any kind of tech, always wanting to take things apart and see how they work. The bigger they are, the more attractive they will seem for her.

Have no fear, and Engineer is here!

Well, been some time since I was around RPG, but this certainly caught my attention. I think I may have a support character in mind.

Or I should say, a Linker character~
Shame to see you go as well Windel... But it seems like the roleplay will stop, because I don't intend on running a roleplay on my own. Sorry drew.
Well. Yeah. Thats all I could think of for a post.
