Full Name:
Bryan Hadley
Age:
20
Gender:
Male
Major:
English
Appearance:
Bryan stands at a comfortable 5 foot 10 and has a rather skinny physique. His hair is a strange shade of brown that could be considered a hue of red to some eyes. Speaking of eyes, his are brown matching with his hair. Bryan's skin tone is slightly pale, but not enough to be commented on really. He can often be seen wearing baggy clothes on his upper half, but skinnier clothes on his bottom, a testament to his laziness.
Behavior:
Bryan's mother would say that his favourite hobby is procrastinating. While this is not entirely true he does do it for most things other than things he's interested in. To call him lazy would be an insult to the truth, he's perfectly fine going about doing his business and can be downright industrious when the situation asks for it.
Overall, Bryan is rather laid back, and it's quite hard to get him excited or worried. However, don't take his easy-going attitude for the personality of a stoic man. He will often show happiness or sadness when the situation calls for it, it's just harder to get him to go to the extremes of these two emotions.
Bryan had quite a traditional upbringing, and his view of women matches this. Of course, he does not bear the stigma of women being weaker or worse in any way than men, but he dislikes seeing women in skimpy clothing and can often be seen getting embarrassed around those who dress this way. In fact, one of the sure fire ways to get him to blush is to even talk to him in any skimpy outfits, to which he will promptly try to hide his face as quickly as possible to avoid further embarrassment. However, with this downside comes a downright courageous side to his personality.
A Bit About Yourself:
Bryan was born in Corner Brook, Canada. While most of his life has been normal so far, the one thing that differs from this normality was his early life. His father, who worked on oil rigs, died while at sea and his mother died during childbirth. But fear not, dear reader, this is not the tale of a cockney orphan having to fight through hardships, but quite the opposite. Almost immediately his aunt and uncle took on the 'burden' of Bryan. Neither his aunt or uncle could have children and had been considering adoption for a while so Bryan's recent orphanage was practically a sign from god.
However, there was one thing that made Bryan stick out from his new parents. They were not officially connected by blood, and his uncle had been adopted as his blood fathers brother. This may not sound like it would make him stick out, but it makes more sense when you realize that his auntie and uncle were both black. This fact did not occur to the absent minded, Bryan until his early teenage years, and even then it didn't bother him in the slightest.
His new parents were very religious, and gave Bryan a rather traditional and sheltered upbringing. Be assured though, this upbringing was still filled with an abnormal amount of love and Bryan never felt at a disadvantage for his sheltered upbringing. His childhood was filled with his father singing and dancing to old Motown records and teaching Bryan how to play guitar, while his mother filled the role of cooking and bass guitar teacher.
His family made the decision to move to America during Bryan's early teens and as a result of the move, Bryan was exposed to a lot more of the outside world than he was in Canada. He also came out of his shell in a huge way, and discovered a passion for reading and writing things other than bible passages. High school life was normal for, Bryan. He never really fell into any clique and generally just interacted with anyone he happened to be around.
After finishing high school, he was at a loss for what to do with his life. He ended up getting a job at a local grocery store for a few years while just generally drifting about in life. Finally his mother took control though, and threatened to chuck him out of the house unless he went to college and made something of his life. He decided upon English and enrolled at Hallesdale.
