Sorry for double posting but I have to ask, should we have a special ability? Like Cole Macgrath had his electric tornado and Delsin Rowe had his smoke dive bomb. His Neon and Video powers also had a special ability too. Something like that.

Also by the way, I love Scorn. She is terrifyingly hilarious. xD
Right, Kain needs to get Scorn's attention because she knows how to find Syndicate members and she is a hard gal to find.

Who's up for Kain attacking an anti-conduit protest? :D

The Park was surprisingly quiet and it made the atmosphere very eerie. Usually you’d here people scurrying around but all he heard was nature at this point. He almost felt like he was being watched. Darren knew he needed to stay on his guard; otherwise he could end up having a hole the size of a walnut gaping through his skull. He then cautiously kept his hand on his gun holster just in case. Times like this he wished that he had some sort of fucking rifle but the bastards at the Children of God rounded up most of the heavy weapons during the beginning of ‘The Apostate’. He was lucky to already have his Glock pistol since start. He already owned it before the whole event. However a pistol is not a viable weapon when it comes to hunting or a gunfight with the Children of God. Nevertheless, having some sort of weapon is better than nothing. There are many deadly creatures in this world now. Wolves, bears, cougars roam the ruins of civilization looking for some poor sucker to prey on.

Darren tries to think too much on this thought otherwise he’ll get distracted. He continues walking through woods, stepping over massive roots and scattered leaves. There uses to be a pathway in Central Park to follow but it’s slowly being drowned by the green grass ever since ‘The Apostate’. Ever since then you just make your own path through. The trees are so tall that if it wasn’t for the skyline of New York City, you could get lost forever. In the middle of his train of thought, he heard the slight snapping of a twig. Darren looks around with vigilance. As far as his eyes could tell there was no one around him but the woods hold many blind spots for attackers both animal and human. He takes his fire axe off his back-holster and carries it with his right hand. All of a sudden, he has this odd eerie feeling that he was being watched by some sort of predator. It feels like death is trying to set his sight on his soul. Darren wants death come.

Some of the twig snapping started to mutate into slightly louder noises. A human would have shot him by now so this must be creature but what could it be? A wolf? A bear? A cougar? A lion possibly? He needs to take it out before it kills him. He lets the fire axe hang limply from his hand as he scrapes it slowly at some nearby rocks. He wants the creature to show himself. Most animals have better hearing than humans, so the sound of metal scraping rocks would encourage it to show itself to get rid of whoever is making the sound. Darren can feel the danger lurking by the trees. It’s watchful eyes peering almost into his soul. He continued to scrape the axe, the unbearable noise is quite ear-piercing, not many creatures have a high resistant to it. He felt like the wind had stopped and that the world around him has frozen just for this moment.

Within a quick instant he turns around swings the axe in the air. It was like the moments before a car crash where time feels like it has stopped for only a few seconds and you are stuck in a freeze frame looking at death. It came in the shape of a grey wolf, its sharpened teeth are like daggers in the night and it’s eyes give the soul a grimly chill as you look into them. Its fur was grey but a dark grey, dark as night it is and this gives almost a representation to the wolf’s own soul. This few second freeze frame shows a lone wolf jumping in the air at Darren, with Darren swing his axe towards its necking before it pounces him. This symbolism of this makes it feel like Red Riding Hood. Darren, the Woodsman against the Big Bad Wolf. It’s a shame that there’s no Red Riding Hood here to save.

As time proceeded the axe brutally became stuck into the neck of the wolf and the force of the swing brought the wolf down to Darren’s side. The blow instantly killed the beast. Blood splattered over Darren but he wasn’t some pussy that would freak out over it. Those people died long ago. He wiped the blood off his face and jacket and placed his hand on the axe that was stuck in the wolf. It was shoved pretty deep and it took some strong pulls to rip it out. Doing so caused more blood to stream out the dead animal. He then went down onto his knees and took a small knife out from one of his pockets. He stuck it in pretty deep into its stomach and rigidly and with force cut its stomach open. It was a disgusting and brutal process but predatory animals these days have known to accidentally ingest important survival items when they attack humans. The stomach was finally pried open ad blood and guts just fell out of it like something out an old horror movie. The stomach contents were mostly animal parts but there was compass, which he proceeded to take, and a badge that represented the Children of God logo.

It seems to be some grunt from the extremist group got himself taken down by Mother Nature. He didn’t care about whoever died. All he is thinking to himself right now is: Are there more wolves in the area and are there any Children of God soldiers scouting the park? Regardless, Darren didn’t dwell on these questions; he continued to cut off some bits off the wolf and placed it in his bag. He finally found some meat; all he had to do was skin it and cook it. He stood up and proceeded to walk away from the dead beast. He just needed to find himself some fruit and get out of this forest. Something tells him that his fortunes awaits him something or someone in these woods. He just hopes he’s wrong.

Just to let you know, I was a little tired when I wrote my opening post, so please forgive any missing words.
Kain sat uncomfortably on his weary sofa as he stares relentlessly at a picture of Curdun Cay scientists on his wall. The picture had holes brutally covered over most of the faces. These holes were created by some sort of highly concentrated acid. This acid was produced by Kain himself. He was staring at the picture while twirling a floating piece of liquid hydrochloric acid around his fingers. His heart was dark and it begged for their deaths and it begged for their screams. That’s what he wanted. To ear them suffer, to know their actions and their consequences. Chlorine was a beautiful thing. He could make their lungs choke or their skin sizzle and melt. He continues to stare intensely at two of the faces. The last two. One is easily findable and the either cannot be found. It was odd. The one easily locatable was called Dr Nicholas Simione. The other one however was called Dr Mikhail Petrov. Petrov has been impossible to track down, every scientist he tracked down has no knowledge of his location and there has been no record of him since Curdun Cay. It frustrates him and his willing to kill a whole city just to find him. Simione is his last lead and he hope for his sake that he has something for him. He then stands up moves towards his sink; he starts to dissipate into a Yellow-green type gas cloud and moves into the tap. He starts flowing with the Chlorine-purified water like he was one with it. It was best way of transportation. He now had to find Dr Simione.

“Clara, before you leave could you cancel all my appointments, my son’s Birthday is tomorrow.” Dr Simione said while pressing the button on his intercom.
“Certainly, Dr Simione.” Replied his secretary. It was getting late in the office and he had to make sure that he had his son’s presents all wrapped up at home. He walked towards his own personal sink, unaware of his upcoming fate. He takes the water from the tap and throws it on his face to make him look refreshed instead of tired. He grabs a nearby towel and dries his face. He then proceeds to walk to his desk but as he turns around there he was. Kain, standing there with his hood up and with anger raging in his eyes. The Doctor feared for his life in the moment and looked a deer in the headlights. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened with terror. He tries to frantically reach for the emergency button under his desk but Kain produces a tiny gas ball from his hands and threw it on the ground. It was a small Chloroform grenade and it was just powerful enough to make him weak but awake. Kain walks slowly towards him, each step creeping towards him. He then fires acidic bullets at his kneecaps, immobilizing him. He screams with all his might as the acid eats away at his kneecaps, melting them and producing a visible gas from the melting. His screams tasted delicious.

“Where is Mikhail Petrov!?” He shouted at the scientist. Simione said nothing but then Kain grabbed him roughly and threw him on the desk.
"Where is he!?” He then placed finger in his arm and started slowly moving up it, drawing a line of acid on it, creating a trail of burns on it.
“Ahhhhh, you’ll never find him!” Kain then puts his hand on the doctor’s mouth.
“That’s not the answer I was looking for!” Chlorine gas then came from the hand and was being forced downing his throat, chocking his lungs and make screams that could be heard in China. Kain then let go to resume the doctor’s speaking. “He’s in Syndicate, that’s all I know!”

Kain let go of the doctor and was quite shocked of this. No one knew who they were. They were like snakes in the dark, unknown but deadly. He would never find him; no one knew where they were and he has yet to find even a grunt or someone who is a part of it. He kicks a nearby chair in anger. He will not give up; he will find Syndicate whatever the cost. He will not let his vengeance of Ellie go in vain. He then proceeded back towards the Doctor for his original plan.
“Look me in the eye.” The Doctor, barely wake and in pain, looked him in the eye. “This is for Ellie”. Kain then placed his finger on his head and started burning an acidic hole through his brain. He screamed with pure agony as a hole was being burnt through his brain. Kain continued to look at him with pure hatred. He wanted him to suffer and burn. Unfortunately, his secretary Clara walked through the office door.
“Sir, I heard screams, is everything all-Oh my god!” She stands there witnessing her boss being burned with a hole in his skull. Kain moves his other hand fires a large piece of acid at her head. She screams with agony and eventually dies. He didn’t care about them. Humans deserve to be punished.

Eventually the screamed died out and a massive hole was left in the Doctor’s skull. He could see his brain from the hole. Kain was now left with a dead body on the desk and a dead secretary at the door. This was good. He then looks at the window and wanders. How will he find Syndicate? His plan must not stop here. He needs to find Syndicate and Petrov. While in the middle of his train of thought the TV turns on in the room and on the screen was a message from the Reapers. Apparently they had found a member of The Syndicate and their leader continued to torture him. Interesting, he recognizes her from Curdun Cay. She was the psychopath who wanted the humans to suffer. If she could find a member of Syndicate then she could help Kain find Petrov. He has no idea where to find her but he might know a way to get her attention. He then proceeded to the sink to leave the murder scene. All he needs is to make a big “bang” to get her attention.
Name: Petar Mason

Age: 19

Race: Aloviti (male version of an Ala)

Powers and abilities: He can control the weather to his liking. He can make it extremely hot and or cold or only slightly. He can produce powerful hurricanes and storms but it takes a lot of his energy. He is a shapeshifter and can stay in normal human form when controlling the weather on a minor scale but if he wants to control on an even larger scale then he has to transform into his Aloviti/human form. This form will make him grow dragon wings and gain horns and a dragon tail. It’ll also turn his skin into a dark, green and scaly colour but his humanoid features like his face will stay the same. He is also naturally resistant to all forms of harsh weather.

Appearance:

Personality: Petar is quite a nervous kid when it comes to meeting new people. He is very reluctant to show who he is and likes to keep himself quiet. He is quite unsure what to do in high pressure situations and sometimes prefers his own company but that doesn’t mean he’s not open to having friends. When he comes out of his shell, he is quite a friendly person and doesn’t wish to bring someone harm. He is a good man that can easily sympathize and empathize with other people. He is not outgoing and will usually prefer to stay inside and play his games. He has never really met other races and will be both amazed and nervous around them.

Biography: Petar was a normal kid or was raised by his father from a very young age. He never knew his mother and his father would barely talk about her. He never had any powers as a kid or any signs that he might have. He was just like every other kid in his town. It wasn’t until he became 18 and his life started to slowly and suddenly change. His father died of a serious illness and he was left with the house. He became very depressed and felt empty until one day, the doorbell rang and at the door was the least person he’d expect, his long lost mother.

He was shocked to see her. He was speechless to find his mother at his doorstep. He had no choice but to show her in and eventually, she explained herself and his origins. It turns out she is an Ala, a race of demons that controlled the weather for their own amusement. They were mostly known around Serbia hundreds of years ago and they would steal from, harass and even kill the locals. Due to their very unpopular history, they have been hunted down by a small group of demon hunters, dedicated to killing the Ala. His mother continued to explain that due to the Ala being hunted down, most decided to change their ways but because of their ancestor’s mistakes, they are still being hunted. The Ala were mostly females but they had a few males in the race but they were called Aloviti and they were a rare bunch (like woman dwarves, very rare). His mother explained their powers to control the weather and how that the Ala and Aloviti have a different form. Petar couldn’t believe this and he didn’t want to, he was angry and asked his mother to leave but she then showed him proof. The clouds started to rumble and lightning struck outside and she started gaining wings, horns, a serpent tail and green scaly skin. He was shocked. Is this what he was? She then promised to train him.

It had been a year since he had found out and had been training vigorously for the past 12 months. He was in control of powers and was now an Aloviti but he still had more to learn. His mother then gave him a letter that came for him in the post. It was an invitation to Redthorn Academy, a school for people like him. He couldn’t believe it but at the same time he didn’t want to go. He wanted to stay and train with his mother but she encouraged him to go. He’d be safe there because sooner or later the demon hunters will find him and he can’t be touched while at the Academy. His mother promised to try and visit but she’ll have to go back into hiding. He was back where he was 12 months ago, alone. He packed up his bags and called for a taxi to take him to the address of the school. He wondered what kind of education might be in store for him.

Actually, The 'air' is a mix of chemicals not just oxygen, he could manipulate one of the other chemicals. Or he could manipulate kinetic or 'force' energy which would do pretty much the same thing. If you have trouble looking for an ability I suggest the listing wikia.

Fair enough, I was thinking of the air as a whole but yeah you can easily choose a common element from the air.

If looking at the power listing Wiki for things to manipulate is too long then just look at a periodic table, that's what I did. :P

Would you call manipulation a reasonable ability?

It sounds a little overpowered considering air is everywhere and you need air to live, so if they took the air away to make you powerless, you die.
Plus with air, you could take away the oxygen and change the pressure, which I'm not sure what conduit could avoid that.

It sounds a little like a conundrum but don't take it from me, I think you should see what Argetlam350 has too say considering it's his RP.
