Clayton Burrows – Gas Go Markets Gas Station – Ada Cinet

"Shit, indeed..." she duly said. "Looks like you got a friend for the night, Clayton--", Ever since the whole thing started, he never bothered with helping people until both he and said person needed it. Looks like he's tumbled himself into a similar situation. After understandably being jumped by the inconvenient screech of the car alarm, she quickly grabbed the torch out of Clayton's hands and lobbed it over to a spot by the walkers. The confused undead wandered over to the mysterious light, taking no notice of Clayton and the girl. Clayton thought this was very clever but unfortunately for them, the walkers have the attention span of a 15 year old teenager. Their sights will be set on them soon enough.

"--there are three in the back of the shop, we can take 'em out, cover ourselves in their sick scent, and get out before too many get here." Clayton raised his one of his eyebrows in great astonishment. In the whole 6 months he's been wandering, not once has he encountered this unusual tactic. Then again, strange problems call for strange solutions. Even if he wanted to, he doesn't have time to argue the ethics of showering in walker guts. He needs to move fast before the undead get wise. He then ran behind him to follow Ada into the gas station. She then quickly turned her head and give one of the most quickest introductions he's ever seen. "I'm Ada, by the way." She then continued into the gas station, with Clayton right behind her. She mentioned that there was three of them in the back of the store. If they want more time then they can't use guns, it'll have to be melee weapons. Clayton then proceeded to arm himself with his hunting knife; he's lucky it's sharp because he's witnessed people die trying to defend themselves with a blunt knife. He runs to the door which leads to the back of the store. Quickly but with care, he placed his hand on the door knob. He can feel the vibrations of the walkers trying to bring the door down. It sent waves of shivers through his arm and up to his spine. It made his senses agile and tense but fueled by fear. He looked towards Ada, raising his knife in preparation for the butchery. "On the count of three. 1...2...3!" he quickly swung the door open and jumped back from it.

What came shuffling out of the door was a surprise. It was little boy with bite marks knee-deep in his neck. His jaw was hanging precariously by a thread, guts and blood were dripping like mini-landslides. It's eyes were hungry and ready for the sweet temptation of flesh. They were black and filled with the most basest of human instincts. Everything that he ever was has been lost and washed away by the sweet tide of nature's greatest want and need. Clayton lunged his knife with great force at the child's head, without hesitation. The child-walker groaned with a slightly higher pitch than his elders would and fell to the ground as Clayton forcefully pulled his knife away. Clayton never cared how old the walker is or was. There was no point in being sensitive over something you can't change. He's heard a lot of people say that the children don't deserve this but, just like everyone else, they probably did. Whether it was an act of man or nature, both were still acts of fate. So if you succumb to the new world, then you can't change that. No one can.

There were still two walkers two deal with and they started to come shuffling out right behind the, recently, dead boy. One had what seemed to be hunter clothing and the other seemed to be just an average civilian. He quickly looks towards Ada, "Your turn,". He then rapidly holstered his knife and then takes out his Priest. He then prepared himself to take a mighty swing at the skull of one the walkers. All that was being heard was the maddening cry of the car alarm masking the noises of the fight.
Name: Roy McCullough

Age: 35

Gender: M

Occupation/Role: Head of Security for the Expedition

Appearance:

Personality: Roy is rude and abrasive man. He’s tough, strong willed but is also a sexist and ill-mannered person. He always gets the job done though but he treats it with cockiness and lack of care. Roy truly defines as being ‘one of the guys’. This attitude has given a reputation that goes both ways. People love and people hate him. Even with his controversial perspective, he’s good at his job and he does what needs to be done. However he is also motivated by money, which is one of the main reasons for going on the trip but he is yet see how far his greed will go.

History: Roy was born in Atlanta, Georgia to a drunken father and a beaten wife. Roy didn’t have the greatest of childhoods and his father’s influence affected how he is today. He always tried to be the tough one in school, the cool one even. It was all to try and prove himself to his father. His mouth has nearly kicked him out of school once too many times. He was finally kicked out of high school at the age 17. He enlisted in the U.S army a year later.

Roy was one of the most controversial GIs in the military but he was also one of the best. He got things done and he made sure that he was not to be fucked with. He rose to the rank of sergeant by age 31 but he was dishonorably discharged after certain methods of torture, which he used on enemy combatants, were found unethical and useless considering some of them don’t even survive it. He also punched his commanding officer in the face after he called him a ‘moving blockhead’.

Angry and disgruntled, he didn’t want to go back to his parents a failure. With no qualifications or civilian experience, he was not going to survive in the real world. His luck changed though when Vita were looking for a new head of security. They liked his credentials because they needed a man whom they could trust to get things done. He’s been with them for 4 years and has been tasked with protecting the expedition crew for the journey to Isla Nublar. Reluctant at first but when they showed Roy the paycheque, he signed on immediately.

Equipment: Roy is packing standard combat fatigues and boots with several pouches for important equipment. He has canteens, grenades (various), a combat knife, a compass, MREs (Meal, Ready, Eat), weapon cleaning kit, radio, lighter, torch and ammo for his guns. He’s wearing black and green face-paint with the fatigues being in black. His primary gun is an M4 Carbine with an M203 Grenade Launcher and an ACOG Scope and his sidearm is a silver IMI Desert Eagle.

Other: He is the Captain of the security for the expedition. He has been tasked by Vita to be the main handler of the group because whether they live or die is on his head.

Jurassic Park: The Ambitions of Man

It has been 15 years since the Jurassic Park incident on Isla Nublar and 11 years since the incident on Isla Sorna. People are very well aware of the existence of the magnificent creatures on this island. With that in mind, the U.S government and Costa Rica Government are working together to try and keep these islands away from man and to prevent any of the creatures from escaping. However, a genetics company named Vita want to try and accomplish what the Hammond family and InGen could not. They want to create their very own dinosaur park. The island Isla Nublar has lain dormant for many years, with people being warned and shoved away from the island; a lucky few sometimes manage to sneak past security but they do not always come back alive…

Vita is organizing a Special team to retrieve samples from the island and to document the creatures living there. This team will be full of different professions and backgrounds, ranging from military to academic. The team will arrive by boat towards the port located on the west side of the island. This is the most important mission to the company so, Vita is gambling a lot on this. The team has been given an open chequebook for whatever they want. They’ll be equipped with the latest vehicles, weaponry, research equipment etc. The mission is highly top secret, with only a few higher ups from the Vita Corporation knowing the true details. They have managed to bribe and blackmail their path towards the island, so the US military will simply stand idle as it lets the ship go through. This mission will be dangerous and possibly fatal but it is not without merit or beauty as this is a trip of a lifetime. The team who enter it’s pernicious realm will not be the same again…

This will be set after first three films but before the fourth. I'm not sure what year Jurassic World is set but due to the technology in the trailer, I highly doubt they were constructing the park on Isla Nublar in 2008. You will be shipped off to the island to retrieve samples of dinosaurs and plant life. You can collect the samples from any dinosaur but certain dinosaurs are a must have for Vita.

Map of Isla Nublar

We'll be docking in the port on the west side of the island. Remember, the Vita corporation have given the team an open cheque so you are allowed to have any piece of equipment you want (It has to be realistic and have a purpose of course). There are no reservations for the roles. We can have more than one person in any role. If we don't have anyone for a certain role, then they'll be played by an NPC.

If you have any questions then don't be afraid to ask but more importantly: Have fun! :D

Gunther said The Recruiter's eye is immediately drawn the Asberger's anotation and marks him as unfit for duty. In fact, he would never have been permitted into the US Army with this condition. He would have failed his physical and gone on to flip burgers at McDonald's.

Actually, you are allowed into the military with Asperger's Syndrome. It;s not a disability that rejects military duty. In fact, some special forces have a preference for people with Asperger's due to their lack of empathy and high endurance for repetitive activities. I was cool with Centurions not allowing Asperger's because the Centurions are the elite of the elite, that's understandable, but for your run-of-the-mill army, there's no problem.

Also, I'm not sure if these were your words or the recruiter's words but the bit on flipping burgers because he failed his physical due to Asperger's, as someone with Asperger's as well, was incredibly offensive.
I'm not even the GM XD, I just wanted to make sure that this RP was still breathing because I haven't been in a good zombie RP for a while now.
I'll put up the OOC tomorrow.

Gunther is now Co-GM'ing this, owing to a wealth of infantry experience I don't have. We'll be consulting, but I see no outstanding issues with the character sheet, and nice move putting in a Cuban. That's a very different military (and they have institutional experience from Angola and similar.)

Thank you very much. I was going to be putting in a Scotsman but I thought it was a bit of a cliche (Demolition Scotsman...TF2 much XD). Making a Cuban was tougher because the information on their armed forces isn't as rich as the British, Americans or Israelis. I found out about The Black Wasps by stumbling onto an article, they're not mentioned on the Wikipedia page.
I posted my CS. Give me any feedback if there's anything wrong with it. I did have trouble with parts of it. :)
