I'm staying. It's my first NRP and I would like to see it to the end.

BTW, I couldn't get a post up tonight because I had relatives make a surprise visit (hate it when that happen).

Sorry I forgot to introduce myself when I asked the roommate question. I have been working on this CS for a couple of days and forgot that without posting a CS, I would seem like a weird stranger.

Ethan Shepard

Appearance:Face. He has fair blonde hair that falls down to his cheeks. He has hazel eyes and a very fair beard that likes to sport. He's not a muscular guy, more of an inbetweener between skinny and muscle. He normally wears sci-fi shirts that relate to franchises like: Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Predator, Terminator, Terminator 2, Robocop, Blade Runner, Total Recall, 2001:Space Odyssey, etc. He wears dark blue jeans usually and white sneakers.

Name:Ethan Shepard

Age: 18

Gender:Male

Power(s): Solar Empowerment

Limits/Weaknesses: He cannot use his powers during night-time or when it is cloudy. He is a normal and weak human being when sunlight is absent.

Equipment: Wallet, phone, gloves, a small bag of weed, a UV light torch and a digital watch.

Personality: Ethan is a bit of a loner and he prefers it that way. He has always enjoyed his own company and usually prefers being left alone. He has a couple of friends back in England and he knows how to speak to people but he mostly wants to hang out watching nerdy films and smoking weed. He is a lazy stoner as well and doesn’t know his full potential. He could easily get the highest marks in his specific subjects but he just half asses it and he only got into Stalwart University by just passing the requirements. His preference to be alone can be traced back to his powers. He feels alone and has never met anyone who has similar abilities, so he prefers to stay alone in case of being revealed. Until someone with superhuman abilities reveals themselves, he’ll just prefer his own comfort.

History:Ethan was born in Nottingham, England and has been blessed with Solar empowerment. Ever since he was a little kid, he would gain superhuman abilities whenever he was in sight of the sun. He would be able to gain speeds up of up to 100mph; he would be able to gain the strength to lift a car; the durability to take punches like they were nothing and be able to heal life-threatening wounds within minutes. All these abilities were in abundance when he is sunlight but when he it is night-time or cloudy then he is as weak and normal as a normal human being.

His mother died when he was a young boy from cancer. Ever since then he has been raised by his father. His father is the only one who knows about his abilities and he can never stress it enough to Ethan that he has too hide his powers. He knows people will fear him and many people will try to use him as a weapon; especially in the middle-east where it is sunny nearly all the time. He always hid his powers in school and was scared of revealing them. On sports day he always controls himself and he tries not to get into fights. He even sits away from the windows during the summer to avoid doing something accidental that’ll attract attention.
He lived with his father for many years; who still lives in England. Ethan had a great interest in Zoology and would regularly enjoy going through the forests outside of his house in the country. He would be alone and free to use his powers. Stalwart University had a very good department in this course and hopes to gain himself a good job with this course.

It's alternate history, but that doesn't mean just going and doing whatever you want. We need to keep some sense of realism and realistically, neither NATO nor the Warsaw Pact is going to let any of their countries go.

I don't mean that far as too leave NATO or the Warsaw Pact but I think it could be possibly to negotiate with the Soviets over the deployment of the NKVD in Poland.

Isn't this alternate history? Whatever happened in real life doesn't apply here I think. (except real people's deaths, I think)
