I was planning on keeping japan Histrionically accurate like i am doing with Canada for a while before i started to show changes, but my idea but not a complete copy and paste of japan its self but a Japan that didn't commit all the war crimes like the Rape of nanking but a country that attempted to retain its honor dignity and respect that tried to win the hearts and minds of the Chinese people with the new territories that would give a little more challenge and with captured territories send supplies and needed resources more openly but along with correcting also some military blunders like losing four carriers in Midway. But i am open to ideas and maybe send a draft and we work it out if their are more issues.

Imperial Japanese Army is filled with combat experienced veterans from the campaigns in china that display a near fanatical mindset in displaying the strength of japan and show the world they are and equal to the rest of the world. The imperial Japanese army has a large inventory of equipment but their primary weapon is the Type 38 Bolt action rifle. The Japanese have a high number of tanks most are deployed in China. Most of Man power of the Army is from the conscription act that was formed in the late 1800 providing them with a large well trained , armed and supplied reserve to draw from for reinforcing their combat troops and to defend main land japan.

Imperial Japanese Navy is vast and among one of the largest naval forces in the world, using its interwar period to continuously ignore naval treaty acts and build up their fleet to large numbers. The navy designed their navy to combat the United States knowing they would eventually draw America into the war with them to cease their Country expansion. They did this amongst many challenges of being an Island nation. Japan continued to attribute considerable prestige to battleships and endeavored to build the largest and most powerful ships of the period. Yamaoto, the heaviest and most heavily armed battleship in history, was launched in 1941. Japan put particular emphasis on Aircraft Carriers. The Imperial Japanese Navy started the Pacific war with 10 aircraft carriers; the largest and most modern carrier fleet in the world at that time. Destroyers included some of the most formidable destroyers of their day. This came as a nasty surprise to the Allies, who had generally underestimated Japanese technical capabilities.

Imperial Japanese Army/ Navy Air Service has two different air services one for the Army and one for the Navy in place a single standing Aviation arm that provide and Aerial support to either Japanese troops or Their navy. They contain a wide and diverse modernized Aircraft inventory spread across their pacfic that that can be land based or sea based fighter, bomber, and reconnaissance.

Captain Monroe looked to the port side of his bridge seeing his original convoy had almost doubled in size and security overnight, due to another convoy that was waiting joined the convoy destined for a full division destined to reinforce the British in Africa. Stress and irritation filled was written across the face of every sailor in the bridge of the Canadian Destroyer. “Captain permission to speak freely, sir.” Asked a sailor that was looking down to the sonar console on the bridge. “ Permission granted.” Replied Monroe as he turned to look at the sailor that returned a guilty look. “Sir, why are we not returning to Canada during this time of crisis going on at home, eh? ” asked the sailor as he looked to the deck at his feet. “ I know that this is a very big kerfuffle at home right now, but if we turned around now and went back to Canada we would wade through u boat infested waters, Britain would fall, and then well were still trying to figure this out we would be hit by the entire Axis and be fighting this war one are door step.” Said Monroe without hesitation as he knew it was not a completely reassuring statement.” Beside are nation will handle this situation and show are allies what Canada can really do.” He said as attempted to lifted some of their spirits but not by much.

Prime Minister King was in his town car with a pair of assistants sitting his vehicle, as a pair of jeep full of Canadian soldiers escorted him all the way from his manor. The Small convoy came along a hanger where a Boeing 247 was already idling with four hawker hurricanes ready to taxi up the run way. “Well return as soon as possible. “Said King to his wife as he and his assistants climbed out of the vehicle. King his assistants and four armed soldiers hustled to the Boeing and boarded. Engines grew from a a low continues rumble to a loud higher continues roar. Slowly the Three planes climbed higher and higher as they began their journey to Newfoundland.

Second Lieutenant Campbell watched through binoculars as unknown troops were moving along a ridgeline between his platoon and the Gin Drinkers line. “Those are the Japanese!” nearly shouted Campbell as he was caught off guard not expecting them there. “Break into sections and form a firing line on the double!” Ordered Campbell as he and his men began scrambling to firing positions stretched across the ridgeline. Shots rang out fired by Japanese from the opposite ridge they impacted all across the ground in front of them or close missies. “Return fire!” Ordered Campbell as he looked down at the opposite ridge through his iron sights and pulled his trigger, his rifle bucked and roared as he fired at the Japanese soldiers. He pulled the bolt back on his Lee Enfield MK III as he had done so many times before in training, sending a smoking used casing spiraling away as he pulled the bolt back, He pushed the bolt back into position chambering a new round in his rifle. Soldiers began opening fire and faster deep guttural roars of Bren Machine Guns joined the small battle on the ridge.

Tanaka just about fell over when he found out he was speaking to a lieutenant Colonel and straightened his back and stood a little straighter, he began the march to the mess hall kind of surprised how young she was for the rank. ”I know the feeling mam, the first week after I was deployed to Atlantis I got lost every two minutes and, it took me two weeks to figure out the layout of the city, mam.” He said as he stifled a chuckle to himself as he marched on. “I have been serving on Atlantis for the last year and half, I was a search and rescue team leader and assisted in security.” He said as he continued on.

He paused for a second in his steps then quickly resumed walking. ”That is a little above my pay grade, but in my professional opinion, I am here to keep this ship’s crew safe and unharmed and to deal with any hostile threats that come are way .” he replied well he was contemplating something in his head as before he continued. “I personally feel that if it has hostile intent towards any member of the crew I will not hesitate to drop it, anything else I’ll let the scientist and diplomats handle it, I’m not good with diplomacy, mam.” He stated just before they arrived.

The two arrived in a large mess hall with metal tables and chairs and a long serving island. It was fairly empty due to they were only serving simple quick foods such as hamburger and sandwiches well the ship was getting under way. “Here is the mess hall mam for your dining delights, is there anything else that I may assist you with Mam?” He asked as turned on his heel facing Lieutenant Colonel Sora

Tanaka and the marines had been exploring the ship for a while and were returning from armory, after inspecting the new tools of their trade. They exited a lift coming back onto the crew deck. “Well I'm going to return to my quarters." Said Tanaka to the group a minute before they were approached, by the women he earlier saw with all the luggage before beaming aboard.

Mam, it was the first place we found, second lieutenant Masaru, Tanaka, Home world command, and representative of Japanese ground defense forces." Said Tanaka as he stepped forward from the group of Marines. "Mam it is mid rats right now since the ship is taking on personal, it isn't far from the crew quarters." He said as he remembered the routes he has taken.

"It is on this deck, section four, passage way six, and the sixth door on the right, am." He said as he had reversed the route back to the mess hall in his head. "If need I can escort you there mam." Offered Tanaka as a faint memory returned of his first time on a ship. During a training with the USMC on an assault ship

Tanaka finished his call with his mother politely finishing it as she was continuing to ramble on and gently placed the phone on its receiver. He slid his newly issued tan plate carrier over his JGSDF flecktarn fatigues, and adjusting it to be a comfortable and snug fit. Grabbing his duffle bag loaded down with what few possessions he had, and grabbed his folded up order and stuffed them into his pocket he left the temporary quarters he had since he arrived from Atlantis. He arrived at the staging area and joined the group preparing to be beamed aboard and saw a Japanese women with a lot of baggage along among many others in the group.

Sound of being beam aboard the nyx could be heard and he subconsciously began holding his breath because he hated it, because he has jumped from planes and helicopters, rappelled from hovering helicopters, there was always an impact on landing with beaming aboard ships there was no impact. On arrival he realized he was holding his breath and released it in a long sigh, movement around him brought him back to reality. He slung his duffel pack onto his shoulder and began moving; He arrived finally at his quarters and laid his duffel bag out across his bunk.

Tanaka didn't mind the size of the room he has had smaller quarters and began organizing his belongings and placed his plate carrier, spare uniform, and boots within the locker. He left his quarters and began a walk through to learn the interior of the ship in case he needed seeing end her or an emergency. Seeing a handful of marines also doing the same as him, He introduced himself and joined the small band as they began their recon of their new home.
