@BigPapaBelial Basically what happened is that at the wedding of Prince Aemon Targaryen and Julianna Lannister, the Red Keep was attacked and traced back to rebel elements in the Stepstones. Now several characters are on a mission to infiltrate the rebels, the Scorpions, and end their insurgency once and for all. Another rebellion is underway in the Red Mountains, led by the Vulture King, this is more of an overt military campaign. There are also several uprisings from elements claiming to be formerly extinct houses such as the Reynes or Gardeners, religious extremist Sparrows, bandits and outlaws run amok, and the organization of the Mountain Clans in the Vale. There are extensive reports of creature sightings and attacks on the peasantry as well.

Last but not least, there's a big hullabaloo about a possible bastard of the crown prince that may be part of some plot.

I will say that cannibalism is supposedly practiced by the Skagosi during winter when it's lean and isn't supposed to be a regular practice, but no big deal.

@NecroKnight The letter went out as soon as Aegon was crowned, and Aemond left the same day. Let's assume he gets to Storm's End within a few days.

We could have it that Lord Borros called all of his bannermen to Storm's End to discuss the succession, as in the thread, we specified that a few lords would try to convince Borros to support the Greens. Helia would certainly be among the bannermen called to court.

Also, Aemond and Lucerys both went to Storm's End in canon.
