<Snipped quote by MrFoxNews> fun fact (a Halo Fanboy like me knows from reading the books X3 ) the flood not only can take over dead bodies, but live ones and use them as puppets from the inside, so if your alive when the flood gets you, your alive as you watch yourself gun down and go after your friends or family as they gun you down in defence, and you feel every shot that hits you, in other words, it's a living hell, more so as you feel your body being pulled by organic stings under your skin as it mutates and slowly rots away until your killed by your allies or become part of a gravemind... I can't even begin to fathom what hell that is like... *stares blankly, then a butterfly flies by, I give chase*
Well I guess it's closer then I thought. Minus the collective mind business.
Yeah I'm just going to come out and say you're definitely a troll. You know who Malal is so you've got at a higher than average knowledge of the 40k universe. As a fan of said universe you should be a able to easily decipher the difference between serious and not serious rp. 40k. Serious. Russian meme skunks. Not serious. So why don't you cut the shit already. Ps: I'm not bootlicking I just don't like trolls.
poor a.i.'s.... it's the closest thing they'll ever experience to being infected by the flood... *shudders* Gah! I hate parasites! they just get under my skin! *Ba-Dun-Tiss~* XD
Only the flood kill you instantly :P we usually don't.
So standards of consistency and quality do not matter if he's the GM? This actually sounds like a rather poorly ran RP if that is truly the case. It's like giving your DMPC in Pathfinder, Wraeththu or Black Tokyo advantages over the rest of the players simply because you're the DM. It's simply not cricket, I feel.
Well you're also missing the fact that although the Base for his NS is a cartoon it is taken extremely seriously and pretty much only uses the cartoon as a reference for visuals and minor abilities. Any how I'm done talking about this. You were denied. If you really want to get into this rp make a nation that's less silly. Doesn't include memes and is all around taken more seriously.
<Snipped quote by MrFoxNews> that is both terrifying and awesome at the same time X3 .... dear god it's like the flood..... 0_0 wait... question... how does an A.I. lose control of a robotic body? I mean, yes you said flesh would become apparent and the body would warp, but how does that stop the robotics from being controlled by the A.I.? ... you know what, never mind, I'm thinking into it too much X3 that aside, it's terrifying, and that's all I need to know =3 XD
Just because you said you don't want to know I will now indulge your mind to the horrors of the warp >:P A When a Daemon is bound to an object it will manipulate the object to better serve Jr's needs usually by manipulating it physically. So for instance if a Daemon was bound to a modern day car it might turn it into something like a transformer but much more terrifying. Initially the AI would retain control of its new body but would be fighting a downhill battle from the moment the Daemon entered it's form. However it would be especially hard for an AI to resist the Daemon as it has no Warp Signature. This is both good and bad. A Daemon can't just poof inside you willy nilly. It has to be summoned and bound to you by servants. Which is a long and strenuous process. All the above goes for mortals as well its just a little easier to gain a foothold in the person but it'll take longer to gain complete control. Example of a Daemon engine
<Snipped quote by MrFoxNews> <Snipped quote by Azimuth> Further reading: The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins. Also, a good cartoon? When nations already lifted from actual cartoons have already been accepted into the RP? Sounds like it fits to me.
The MLP nations is the GAME Masters nation. He accepted himself. If it was up to me there wouldn't be ponies either. But it's not.
But memes are a legitimate scientific concept pioneered by Richard Dawkins.
That doesn't make them a serious topic. Hell that could be entirely made up. Frankly I don't really care. If you want my genuine advice on your app I think it's a pretty crazy idea and would make a good cartoon or comedy. I don't however think it fits this scenario at all.
A serious tone? Even though the person behind them was eventually banned? It doesn't seem like you're a particularly great judge of character. Also, I would appreciate more pointers towards how to make a more seriously toned play pretend space man nation.
My first pointer would be don't have anything about memes in your app... Regardless of what Duck has done in the past your app is making a mockery of Serious Sci Fi rp. Whether it's knowingly or not.
<Snipped quote by MrFoxNews> ... *processes* ... so, the A.I's 'mind' would be unaffected, but it's platform (body) would be?, for example...
could turn into something like
Yes that could happen. Although flesh would probably become apparent. And the AI would most likely lose control of its Body and be trapped within itself.
Here's what I've got so far. There might be more later. NS Nations Name: The Corsairs of the Iron Coast Flag: Form of Government: Meritocracy.  Tribunal Council. Describe the System: Individual Towns, Villages, Cities, and Fortresses are controlled by a single Lord. The Lord holds his position until he wishes to pass it on to a Protégé of his choosing or dies in which case the Council appoints a replacement by popular vote. To be a candidate for Lordship one must train under a Lord for no less than 13 years or a Candidate must have Captained his own vessel for 13 years and must have served under the previous lord for no less than 6 and half of those years. The council itself consists of the 13 most Wealthy and Powerful Lords. To retain their position on the council each lord must provide a sum of wealth, Troops, or vessels to the Iron Coasts current operations. Location on Map Desired: A long thin strip of Coastline protected by mountains. Few passages exist to pass through the mountain aside from one very large road leading into the Mainlands. WIP Capital: The Drakes Cavern . The largest Pirate City and Capital of the Iron Coast. It houses it's own Fortress and Is the location for which the Pirate Council meets. Important Settlements: The Jericho Bridge: A large Mainland Fortress. It is the only Corsair Fortress that lacks a single dock as it is within the Mountains. In order to invade the Iron Coast one must pass through this Fortress, scale the Dangerous mountains, or invade via the sea. Ashland: An industrial city. Many Corsair Ships are built and sold here to new Captains and the ever expanding fleets of the current Lords Description: The Corsairs of the Iron Coast live a life of opulent indulgence.  So long as you can claw your way into a high ranking positions of course. Honor is laughable among these vile fiends. However these is a book of rules every Citizen must follow mainly regarding the protection of the ruling council. Murder is legal as is theft. But that is not to say there will not be counter murders and thefts. Even with these flaws the Corsairs will and leads back each other against outsiders realizing that they are and leads great threat to their very existence. It is not however unheard of for nations to strike up deals or even alliances with Iron Lords to protect their own vessels and utilize the Lord's own skills against an opponent less willing to pay them. Gold is the great force behind all within the Iron Coast. It builds and destroys men more so than any other factor. Important Characters:WIP Traits: Base 4 Small army +2 Ambitious Generals(Captains) +1 King of the Seas -3 Strong industry -2 Free Market -1 Militias -1 New age ship construction Decentralized Army Army: Navy: GDP: Population: Stability
