Mankind, the race born without but power but the will to create it.
Every species happily lived using their inborn skills and abilities to live life smoothly Mankind on the other hand had very dark emotions inside as they where left with nothing but metal, fire and water. That lead to the invention of STEAM engines which worked much better the.magicite counterparts which required the rocks with energy stored within. Sure humans could have grown the rocks themselves but they would have to rely on another race which being prideful they wouldn't even if they face extinction.
Everyday for men where either filled with Grease, Boozes, sword fights, or a dark isolation which chained the ones who still dreamed of a better place. In time they could power a massive city with just 900Gallons of water with a burn able fuel. As time progressed other races didn't trust mankind from their rash and brute like actions so easily they where to be avoided making the human race suffer more as their ideals fell into oblivion.
N'yo a young inventor who at his dismay got no credit for the creation of Spiral Coils(a rod which easily transfers electricity to the nearest other Spiral coil.) he started to suffer from a slightly depression as in hopes of getting credit for his first one. He spent most of his time amongst the gears of his airborne workshop with a ladder hanging down just incase someone wanted to place a order for an airship or land vehicle since he refused to make weapons.
When N'yo does happen to leave hes seen with a (Your Character's race) which many believe is his only friend seeing how no one visits him because of his slightly dead tone. (How long N'yo has known them is up for debate.) Despite their constant contact kids passing by can't help but laugh as they are hear him groan when his friend attempts to drag him away from the grinding of gears.

He sighed as he sat in a chair his hands coated in a black gutless amount of grease while a size 6'8th wrench rested in his hand. Gears gently grinded in the background as light peered into his metallic workshop illuminating the small air ship he was currently working on. N'yo moodily walked across the room unpleased with every single contraption he made that would help even during a every day life. A cluster of the contraptions sat next to his massive toolbox which had his Magnet Boots on them. He turned as bolt he forgot to tighten earlier on the airship spun off ricocheting striking the back of his neck leaving a small welt. He grasped grabbing the back of his neck as if swatting a bug and taking a deep breathe he spoke cringing." Oh Damnit..." pulling the bolt into his view he groaned deeply knowing where it's from instantly. Walking past several pieces of scrap before he got into the airship.
The airship had enough space for about 5 people to comfortably sit and move. N'yo glanced at a panel which slung out beside the engine which gently hummed letting out a bits of the steam it had stored when he parked it. Pushing a few cooper wires back inside he took his wrench and hammered the plating back on. After he did that he screwed the bolt on with his finger before he slapped his wrench on it, tightening it so it wouldn't hit him again. N'yo glanced around checking several interior ojects like lights and parachute mechanics.
After checking all the mechanics of the machine he stepped out with his eyes dark with a slightly emptiness. N'yo approach his newest project almost as if mourning a death. The object needed several fixes but it was something which froze the water in the air using electricity coils to deconstruct the heat in the air making what it was directed as freeze. N'yo lifted the gun like object as it easily would be pictured like a handgun. He opened the side and with a small solar collector stone melted into a battery he placed it inside before picking up his welding mask. After the welding mask was snug apon his jaw and brow he started to fix the battery inside of the gun with sparks illuminating his shop with the sound of crackles.
