well no, once you say a katana can block a bullet, all melee weapons must them be allowed to block bullets. That has nothing to do with weapon design, simply the speed and reflexes of the owner. And without the most advanced and expensive cybernetics,(talking 100,000+) I don't see how that is possible. Bullets move way to fast.

Yeah, true. I was thinking in terms of game mechanics, in which a lucky dice roll would probably let an Adept chop successfully at a bullet. It does require a blade sturdy enough to withstand one, though.
Well, with the right Adept powers and some serious reflex boosters, you might be able to deflect a bullet with your katana. But in that case it would probably just be smarter to move yourself to where the bullets aren't.

Okay, gonna do a quick introduction for Red Five, then we're on to the actual meet. The mustachioed man is gonna have everyone sit at the round table while he talks. Should I end the post at inviting them to sit with him or are y'all okay with me just assuming you all sit?
Well, yes and no. Most runners are definitely looking out for number one, but they might do that in a couple of different ways. Sure you could rip off the rest of your team, but then at the very least nobody would want to work with you. At worst, you end up with a severe case of lead poisoning. There's a lot of thieves' honor in the shadows, because if you screw people over, it's not gonna stay a secret for long. And if you let the mage take a bullet instead of saving them, you might end up with an angry spirit on your hands and nobody to banish it. So you'd be looking out for number one by looking out for the rest of your team.

That's assuming you get caught, of course. If you're the only one who knows how much you're gonna be paid for a run, and you keep half of it, it's not a given that somebody will find out. You might get away with it.

Lmao nice post :)

I agree! Lots of tension already I like it.

Oh, right, I need to write a post for Red Five as well. Man, this is gonna be one dysfunctional team of runners!
No rush, friends ♥
Go ahead and do it! I've got some stuff to do, so it'll be a couple hours.
Excellent! This is gonna be a lot of fun.
The room behind the door was tastefully decorated. Whereas the club itself emphasized its warehouse origin, mixing polished steel and concrete with plastic and carbon fiber, this room was done in the style of a traditional back room of an old bar, complete with fake wood furnishing and heavy carpets.

Immediately drawing attention was the round table at the center of the room, illuminated warmly by a large LED lamp hanging from the ceiling. Four men and three women sat around this table, playing poker with physical cards—a rare sight these days. They were conversing in Spanish, laughing often and loudly while holographic representations of poker chips moved across the table with each bet. As each shadowrunner entered the room, one of the men, a human with a thick black mustache, nodded towards a row of chairs lined up against one wall. The gesture was amicable but firm: have a seat.
Ooooh, I'm with ya. Reading comprehension. I has it.

edit: Okay, quick description of the back room is up. Enough for you guys to riff on, I presume. Feel free to have some conversation between those characters who have already arrived if you feel like it.
On it.
