Kalpian National Day
Kalpia has been a republic for over hundred years but it was not a republic at first , the transition to republic from monarchy was violent and it took many lifes of Kalpians for the sake of freedom and liberty , Kalpia was the first nation to experiment democracy and one of the few that were able to overthrow their previous leaders and stablish a more free society for the people , the fateful day was 28th of July the day that Kalpia became a Republic that protected the interest of the nation and the ones of a king that doesn't care about their people , the Kalpian national day will be celebrated as most of times with the army march in one of the biggest avenues in Mistburn , the people gather to see the soldiers that defend the nation and the president gives a speech about the country and how good and great it is.
The Kalpian Industrial Standart
Kalpia is known to be the biggest economy in the Paen Peninsula and some say that in the whole Centran continent , the industrialsist call this the Kalpian Standart because they believe that the economy will continue to grow as long as the country keeps at peace and the trade continues to flow in the continent and the resources from the colonies keep going to the motherland. Also the entrepenurs are interested in helping the peninsulan countries to achieve this standart and to keep promoting the good relations between countries.

Kalpian Military Observer in Ferrareia
The 2nd Lieutenant Tetaendio Utam is in Ferrareia as a military observer , he was sent by the Kalpian army to help train the soldiers of Ferrareia to use the equipment that was sold to them, but he had fairly little time to train them because of the war , since then he has stayed there observing how the equipment sold to Ferrareia has been performing , specially the Gothpath 105mm a very fine artillery piece that has seen a lot of action since the first days of the war , he has also been observing the tanks sent by Soroya and how they performed and how the Osladian tanks have been perfoming , his opinion over the war is that both countries have none military experience and that the stagnation of the front is the result of that , he keeps informing the Kalpian military daily by Telegraph.

Expedition to North-Faresia
A private company that has helped to colonize New Mistburn and Doxon have started their own enterprise to colonize in North-Faresia , the enterprise is private owned but it is under the supervision of the goverment , the expedition is to the farthest island from Kalpia , because of that there should be not problems to refuel or for assistance in case of anything , the goverment have sent a governor called Sen Aercapo to the expedition , he has said that he is curious of what the expedition will find on the North Continent , also he is very optismistic.

Tank Training
With the recently purchased tanks from the Osladian Empire , the new tanks O-265 Strovna and Mulnya-20 are put into testing and will be used for the traning of new drivers and men , the first Kalpian pilot to be in a O-265 feels pretty comfortable at driving and while inexperienced is doing better than other nations , the 1st armored brigade is created in Kalpia along with several other armored car vehicles such as the new CMB-20 which cannon offers the firepower that the new tanks don't have and in combination they should be able to take most trenches without problems , some officers are excited to try the new tactics in military exercises.
New Radio Station
In Mistburn the first radio station the MSK have started broadcasting , the new radio have their objectives in giving entertainment to the people of Mistburn, their schedule in the morning is to put folklore music while at the noon they dedicate to to several other functions to attract the people , they have been succesfull and have started a new kind of enterprise that soon should spread to the rest of the country over the years , this is because the people of Kalpia have access to radios because of their low prices compared to other countries thanks to the industrial capabilities of the country.

Expedition to Siragusa
It is known that the colony of the Chaegon Empire in Faresia , Siragusa , is facing starvation because of the lack of good administration by their goverment , they are receiving the worst because the Emperor prefers to give rifles to their soldiers rather than give food to his subjects and since this situation have lasted for the whole month , the president have decided to take care of the people of Siragusa by offering them protection and food , the nation have decided to send the 1st Expeditionary Army to the colony of Siragusa with 40,000,000 Mariats worth of food (4 Million Consumer Goods) , the expeditionary army will stablish order in the colony and help with the distribution of food , the expeditionary army will be sent along with the 2nd Fleet to Siragusa.
The President have sent a message to Matthias Kazhoff the leader of the colony that help is coming.
"I gave the order to send the 1st Expeditionary Army to Siragusa not because of ambitions or imperialism , but because of our duty as humans to help other humans and the Chaegon Empire have shown everyone that they cannot handle a single colony in Faresia with their own people , people that is starving and that asks for help from their own goverment , however they won't receive the help from a old fashioned goverment but by one that believes in the people and their rights"-President Karlht Mariath at the parliament

Kalpia Sends Weapons To Fereraia
Recently the Republic of Fereraia have declared it's interest in purchasing new military equipment , the reasons have not been said but they are pretty obvious to the international community after Korenia started to amass forces near the frontier with them , Kalpia have shown its interest in defending the freedoms of the people and has been very genereous towards Fereraia in selling Kalpian weapons and equipment , some other nations have also given their offers to Fereraia but finally the most genereous won .
The parlament decided to give this offer after the news that Korenia started to mass it's forces near the frontier with Fereraia , the action was fast and without any problems besides some officials in the army that believed that the Kalpian armed forces needed priority , however their voices were not heared by the parlament .
Small Nuisance
The Neeland Union have started to work on the battlecruiser however they have said that the battlecruiser has no name , this has been a mistake from a naval officer that forgot to put the name of the ship and now that he have realized his mistake , he has sent a telegraph telling the dockyards that the ship will be named "Aclen" , the officer have made public apologies for this mistake.
Kalpian Unity Party Parade
The Kalpian Unity Party have organized a parade in Mistburn as every year to show their advances and their strenght in the country and this year they have been able to reach to more people and gather hundreds more than the last year , the parade included as most years the Young Kalpian Brigades and similar organizations however this year has been a bit more special than the last because now the KUP have rised the desire of the people to have a strong army and a strong navy to defend their homeland .

Navy Contract with the Empire of Veria and the Naval Strenght Act
The Kalpian Republican Navy has succesfully made a contract with the Neeland Union to build one battlecruiser for the navy , however the parlament has decided to give more funding to the navy and has stablished a new naval program for the nation called "Naval Strenght Act" (NSA) with the funding of 1,500,000,000 Mariats for the next years to be used to buy and build new ships for the navy , the objective of this new naval program is to increase the naval capabilities of the nation overseas , specially to the new acquired Serranthian Colonies that have made clear that the nation will need to further expand its navy to protect the citizens of Kalpia there from any danger.
Because of this the Navy has been put in contact with the Empire of Veria which is a known naval power , to make a contract to build one of the Karlburg-class battlecruiser for the KRN , the navy have decided to give an offer of 270,000,000 Mariats (27 Million Consumer goods) for the use of 12 of their dockyards to build this battlecruiser.
The most party that gave most of the support was the Kalpian Unity Party that saw this as a compensation for the signing of the treaty of Sikea that limited the nation naval capabilities for major vessels , however it is of public knowledge that the act passed only with 54% because of most of the opposition saw this as a problem and said that there are better uses for the money that will be invested in the naval act .
Operation Old Wolf
The Kalpian Republic Army organized a military exercise in the province of Mistburn , several assets of the army were present and new equipment was presented like the Harrot-4 and the CMB-20 both tested in the military exercise , the army prepared a exercise where the new armored car the Athiht K.18 II tried to arrive to a enemy trench with the support of the infantery , the infantery used the K.18 II to cover themselfs while the K.18 II shoot to the targets in the trench , the exercise was succesfull and the combined forces took the trench with no problems , however the armored cars had to slow down in order to cover the infantery , some wonder what could have happen if the armored cars were left alone to take the trench , this has raised several ideas for the use of the armor in combat.
In conclusion the military exercise didn't innovate but rather only showed what most armies in the world already know to do , some people in the army have asked to put more effort into the military doctrine of the army in order to stay at par with the rest of the countries in terms of military might.

Navy Contract with the Neeland Union
The Kalpian Republic Navy has been recently interested in modernizing its navy however the navy doesn't have the capabilties to do it by itself because of this the navy has approached different countries to build its ships and one those countries is the Neeland Union that has a largue capacity to build ships , therefore the navy have decided to send a proposal to the goverment of said country to build one Karlburg-class Battlecruiser with 10 of their dockyards at the price of 180,000,000 Mariats (18 Million Consumer Goods) , the representatives of the navy are already in the Union awaiting for their answer
Kalpia-Soreno Relations
Recently the foreign relations minister has decided to send the diplomat Hanst Acath to Soreno to discuss the current war between the Duchy of Pozzouli and the Chaegon Empire , with the clear objective to convince to the Sorenon goverment that the Chaegon Empire is a threat and has been recently trying to provoke the nations in the region by their annexation of the kingdom of Tarania and will also now actively makes promises of an alliance between both nations in the next year to strenght the position of both countries and to stop any kind of further provocation by any country in the region , in the words of the diplomat.
"I will go to Soreno to search for both friendship and strenght , we are both nations that are near the aggressor of the Chaegon Empire and we firmly believe that an alliance between both of our countries would only strenght the position of both countries and stop any kind of expansion by the Chaegon Empire , I think that this is the only way to stop the Chaegon Empire and at the same time strenght our position in the region.
Possible new expedition to Serranthia
The parlament have seen the success of the colonization of both New Mistburn and Doxon making the parlament want to expand more in the the Serranthian continent to strenght the position of the country , there are several enthusiast in the country that desire to go those unnexplored plands looking to settle and to bring civilization to the people of those lands , because of that there are plans to continue the expansion of the colonies in Serranthia .
