Kithra Moore
Kithra smiled when she saw the look that Damien gave her. He no doubt thought she was more of a magazine type of girl, sure she didn't read much but that didn't mean she didn't like to read. She remembered reading the Narnia series, and truth be told she thought it was the best series of all time. But she didn't voice it very often, not now as she was running for her life.
"It has to be from Shakespeare sadly, as that's all I read from that genre but my favorites would be Macbeth or Midsummer Night Dream."Now it was time for her to feel embarrassed as she never read anything from Shakespeare. It wasn't a required reading in her English classes when she was in school.
"I heard that they were good. I saw the play once, but I fell asleep a quarter way through." She said as she felt her cheeks go slightly pink.
He has to think I'm an idiot. Like I can barely take of myself, and I feel so uncivilized. She thought as she bit her lip as she looked down at her hands feeling a bit silly and child like as she needed someone to help her.
"Oh dead people, Kitty! Would you look at that! Wait what, dead people?!"Kitty looked at Damien with an odd expression as he said the words kind of casually at first. She then looked at the horror before her, never had she seen a dead body before. And just like that the fuzziness that filled her head from Damien's words vanished. Her mouth hung open as if she wanted to scream but couldn't. She looked over at Damien with a thousand questions in her head, as Regulars never killed their own if they were hunting Gifted. But here there were a lot of dead Regulars.
"What would kill like this?!" She asked as her brain seemed to stop working, she truly felt like a child even though she really wished not to be.
Lucky Newman
"Well, I have a thing with plants...and animals. I cam call them to me, and plants can grow at my word. It's weird huh?"Lucky smiled and shook his head as he continued to watch for trouble. He didn't think that Lilith's gift was too weird, in fact he thought it could be rather useful. That's when he wondered if they could run to a place where few Regulars went and start a kind of colony. They would be safe or at least the
could be safe. If enough Gifted came together and helped each other, there was a possibility they could survive.
That would mean that you would have to trust again. A colony can't survive without trust. The words drifted through his head in a female voice. He knew whose voice it was, and he hated it. Frowning he looked at Tom and Lilith, he felt bad that he couldn't fully trust them but his past wouldn't let him.
"So, I was wondering. How do you think we're going to solve this?" Lucky was pulled back from his thinking when Lilith asked the question. though he wasn't sure on how to answer it.
"Truth be told, I am not sure. I was hoping to just see where this goes and survive the day let alone the night. Though we might have to move later." He said as the feeling of dread grew in his stomach. He suddenly wondered if they should leave now, as the last time he had this gut feeling he ended up having to kill everyone he thought were friends.
