Amber's eye's widened in surprise as she watched her attack get deflected into the sky, anger filled her as she tried to glare at the one who got in the way, then before she could react she felt a sharp pain at the back of her head, the light in her eye's became faded as she fell to her knees before falling foreword going face first into the metal roof, knocked out cold, her power level dropped dramatically until it stopped just below 1

Maximus watched as Wolf blocked and deflected Amber's attack before knocking her out, Wolf's actions confused Maximus as he tried to think why he attacked her
'what reason did he have to attack Amber? she was just trying to stop a threat, it would appear that Wolf is going to attack Glacier as well, why is Wolf doing this?, the Demon attacked us and they were defending themselves and others, does he want the fight all to himself? if that is so, then this behaviour is intolerable, I will not allow this to continue' as Maximus thought this, less then a second had past when he was in thought, then he vanished, without warning Maximus appeared in front of Glacier to intercept Wolf, as Wolf closed in Maximus positioned himself in a defensive stance as he readied to catch Wolf's punch in his left hand and counter if Wolf was to lash out at him instead

Amber's eye's widened in surprise when Xeroth shattered her inferno disc with his teeth before he smashed into her, she fell to the roof and landed on her feet before she raised her arms to block some stray flames that were coming from Xeroth, she watched as Glacier attacked, taking note to how tough his hide was
"then I'll burn his hide until it's brittle..." Amber said as she closed her right hand into a fist as flaming energy enveloped it, she then thrust her right hand forward and opened it, aiming at Xeroths back
"Blast Burn!"
she exclaimed as a condensed beam of superheated flaming energy fired from her right hand and sped toward Xeroth's back after he threw a piece of the roof at Maximus

Maximus showed no sighs of flinching at the Demons words, he merely hovered in place while Xeroth spoke, his scanners indicated that the Demons power level began to increase, he took note of it, and that the Demons hide might be hard to get through as he observed Glaciers death beam simply exploded on contact with his hide instead of piercing through it, as Maximus hovered in place he watched as Xeroth threw a chunk of the roof at him, as it closed in Maximus raised his right arm and chopped the metal chunk in two, making the two pieces of the roof fly past him

Maximus droned to the Demon as he hovered down to the roof, after his metal feet clanked onto the metal surface he calmly got into a defensive stance on the roof about five meters or so away from the Demon as it raged just before Amber fired her attack at it

as Xeroth finished speaking, a buzzing sound could be heard, it was getting louder, then a flaming disc sped past Xeroth barley touching the tip of his nose, as it continued it cut into the mountain going clean through it like it was nothing, when it pierced through the other side before it dispersed into flames. in the air above them hovered Amber, a look of anger in her eye's, in her right hand she held another flaming disc ready to be thrown
"hey leather neck... if you want a chance of survival I suggest you leave and fly as fast as you can, because the first disc was a warning..." she warned as the disc in her right hand began spinning, slowing she hovered down so she was eye level with Xeroth
"I don't intend to miss with the second..." her voice dripped with burning venom as she glared into Xeroths eye's

Maximus hovered in place, his arms loosely hanging at his sides as he watched events unfold, he then looked to his left as he began to wirelessly hack into a satellite in orbit, when he had control he used it's camera to zoom in on a certain area, the abandoned red ribbon army base headquarters, if he was to believe what the demon said, then he couldn't let it happen, if there was a dragon radar of some sort hidden within the base, he had to destroy it, when he got the base's exact location he opened his right hand as a silver orb formed in it, it crackled with an electric hum as it grew to the size of a large baseball, he funneled energy into the sphere in his hand making it glow brightly, without a second thought he reeled back his hand and threw the orb in the direction on the red ribbon base, within seconds the orb vanished over the horizon as I sped toward it's target, Maximus turned to face the demon just before Amber had thrown a flaming disc at it, he was going to engaged the demon, but he wanted to see what was going to happen

as a breeze flows through the empty red ribbon base, in a cracked glass case, a rusted dragon radar rested, as the sun set and the sky darkened, a bright silver light lit the horizon as a silver orb sped over it, as it closed in it dived through a hole in the roof and kept going, seconds later silver light began to glow through every window, every crack and hole in the building before the whole complex was enveloped in a massive explosion, the tree's surrounding the area were blown over as a mushroom cloud plumed into the sky, the red ribbon army base was no more

Spartan watched as Junko ran off to the market, then he looked to Eve with a smile, Eve watched as Junko left then looked to Spartan
"so what's the plan? I don't think sneaking out of here is going to be an option with Magnus..." Eve said as she looked down to Magnus and placed her hand on his head, as she said this Spartan looked up to see some small cargo ships fly overhead before some wired alien creatures flew overhead with strange being using them as transportation

"who said anything about sneaking?" Spartan said with a slight grin as he activated his jets and flew up to Magnus's head, grabbing hold of a horn, Eve shuffled and moved back slightly as Spartan pulled himself over Magnus's neck before sitting down in front of Eve, he looked back to her with a smile
"we're going to hide in plain sight" he said with a grin, he then looked down to Magnus
"Magnus, bring us to the dry dock, we're going to give our thanks to the guys who brought us here" Spartan said with a smile, at this Magnus growled in agreement as he got to his feet, his heavy metal footsteps echoing down the alley way as he opened his wings, with one powerful flap he was up in the air. Eve hung onto Spartan while they fly over the roof tops, with a spin Magnus leveled out a few stories over the buildings and began flying towards the dry dock. citizens had taken notice of the large metal beast taking flight but showed no concern since they've seen much weirder things happening on the orbital nation.

Kore-Drax watched from the shadows as the four interacted, one left down another alleyway, then the other three took to the air, he had to admit the sight was new to him, but far from the strange creatures he's seen, when all was clear, he hurried into the back of the shop, he quickly got to searching the corpses, as he finished looting the last body he narrowed his eye's as he stood up
"it's not here..." he said as he left the shop
"that was all of the pirates... which mean that one of the captive must have it... but which one in the question..." Kore-Drax asked himself as he looked down the alleyway that led to the market
"whoever took it must know it was for the pirate ship... which means that they'll be heading towards it sooner or later... I might as well head back..." Kore-Drax said as he left through the alleyway, entering the market and making his way towards the dry dock
.
with another powerful flap of his wings, Magnus flew past a few small cargo ships that were a little bigger then he was, within minutes the dry dock was in sight, Magnus looked for the pirate ship that brought them here and sure enough he spotted within seconds
"bring us down" Spartan said with a grin, and without hesitation Magnus let out a roar as he dived towards the ship, at the last second he pulled up and landed with a loud thud that shook the ground, with yellow glowing eye's Magnus scanned the area for pirates, but there were none, well except for the dead one by the ramp for crew members to enter the ship
"well, I guess some of the captives must have beat us here..." Spartan said with a mildly concerned look as he hopped off Magnus's neck and landed with a thud before looking around, he spotted a large door a few meters away from the ramp, it was the door used to transport large creatures to and from the ship, Magnus let out a huff knowing he'd have to go in the cargo bay

"don't be grumpy Magnus, I'll be with you this time to keep you company" Eve said with a smile as she shuffled forward to take her spot back before she looked down to the dead pirate below
"so... what if the other captives don't exactly want to share the ship?..." Eve asked Spartan with a slightly worried look

"don't worry, I'm sure we'll come to an agreement of some sort" Spartan sad as he began walking up the ramp, he looked back to Eve with a smile
"you two head into the cargo bay and wait there, I'll check up on you when I figure out what our situation is" he said with a reassuring smile, Magnus nodded to Spartan and Eve smiled lightly in agreement, with that Spartan headed up the ramp and into the ship, the first thing he seen was a few dead bodies scattered about, some riddled with holes, others slashed to pieces
"well, whoever got here first got back at the pirates tenfold for what they did..." he said as he instinctively began to head towards the bridge of the ship

as Magnus approached the large doors, they began to open up, Magnus growled as he took a few steps back, Eve kept her eye's glued on them as they opened, when the door fully opened, a large ramp extended towards the dock and clamped down
"well, lets go..." Eve said as she stared into the dark cargo bay, Magnus grumbled before he made his way up the ramp, his heavy metal footfalls ringing out with every step as he entered the cargo bay, the doors then slowly began to close, Magnus brought his tail to his side as the doors shut, for a second or two they were shrouded in darkness, besides the glow that emitted from both Eve and Magnus's eye's, then a beam of yellow light shined from Magnus's eye's, acting as flashlights a he looked around
"sure is dark in here..." Eve said as she tightened her grip on Magnus's horns as he further entered the cargo bay, the sound of a large metal cage rattling filled the air, it made a chill run up Eve's Spine as she looked around in the darkness, as Magnus turned his eye's to where the sound came from, Eve's eye's widened in fear, before them was a large cage, large enough to hold a creature that was slightly bigger then Magnus, but the only thing wrong with this cage was that it was empty, and there was a large hole in the side of it, Magnus narrowed his eye's slightly as he backed up
"Magnus... I don't think we're the only things in here..." Eve whispered to him as she held her breath, Magnus slowly backed away from the cage as quietly as possibly why looking around, a silent hissing sound filled the air, followed by a deep beastly growl that sounded like it was some distance away from them
"where's a light switch when you need one?..." Eve whispered to herself as she kept her eye's glued to where Magnus was looking in a attempt to spot what the sound was coming from
