Working on a project, watching 'Tudors', waiting for morning PT to start. If it's 0440 there you must be somewhere on the US East Coast?*shakes head left to right* Canadia, EST, where the true nords of skyrim remain Eh? X3
They're a lot of people looking at this thread for the time of day it is. #0430Swag4:40 AM here =3 , the only reason I'm up, besides texting with you awesome RPer's, is to get the building I'm in cleaned before my mother dearest returns, my siblings make quite the mess, and didn't bother to help, so I'm working overtime to save our collected *sses from hearing her complain as to why we can't keep home clean while she's not here *rubs eye's* surprisingly I'm not tired, my eye's sting a little though X3
I remember the old guild, I liked it. I rarely posted on it though xP. I just got disillusioned with the amount of RPs that died once I signed up. I started doing a lot more 1x1s but usually I was too shy to actually ask for a partner aha.... I was never brave enough to do a 1x1.... one time a random person asked me out of the blue for a 1x1, just pm'ed me saying: "hey, you wanna rp?" I was confused as heck X3 so when I questioned why they wanted to rp with me, they just said: "no reason really, just wanna rp, i'm bored" and then they never sent another pm... X3
It wasn't my first roleplay but one of the one's I remember most fondly happened to be in the Free Section. Before Guildfall there was an admittedly generic roleplay I joined, the crux of the plot was that there were a bunch of humans with various supernatural powers that had popped up recently and the global-spanning government of the setting was attempting to exterminate them. What made the roleplay rememberable was in the middle of it the GM up and vanished but the majority of players wished to continue so I ended up taking the helm. I introduced a whole new set of villains and in general expanded the scope of the roleplay and kept it going for another couple of months until interest finally dropped off. Good times.heh... I remember 'adopting' a few roleplays, the gm would pull a vanishing act or would tell us he couldn't do it anymore for valid reasons, others didn't want the rp to die, but no one would step up, so I did, and even though I managed to keep them going for a while, I just ran out of ideas, and slowly interest died out, but I did my best to keep them going, but the fires just kept going out, that is except for that rp I mentioned, myself and two friends from the old guild are planning on making it's reincarnation sometime soon to bring it's cooling ember back to a blaze =3
You guys have me remembering my first roleplay site, I remembered it with fond memory's, and a few bad ones too but mostly good. I remember I took a look back at what I did and the spelling and sentence structure was so atrocious at the start, made me wonder how I ever had successful roleplays in the first place. Still it was interesting to see my progression develop as a writer and man did I get better the more I did. Its almost traumatic to look back at those early posts though. I started out all those years ago as a Legend of Zelda Roleplayer and gradually expanded into other genres.heh-heh-heh *smiles in memory* my god, I remember the on old old guild when I went to look back at the first rp I was in with Spartan, I was so Bad XD the spelling errors, the grammar, and what I wrote, the others were just as bad X3
