Unfortunately, in the middle of a commitment of perforrming an action (i.e Suplexing the construct). I believe Pierce would not have time to lift up an object that size to completely shield you from that explosion.

My second point is that the change in the Golem's substance was ignored, ,eamomg Pierce had no knowledge of what was about to occur. But, in the fraction of less than a moment, a barrier was lifted to counteract that explosion. Even if this was the case, you would have to have a pretty big chunk of rock to do so.

Could I have an explanation as to how this would be possible?

Also, to quote the character profile for Pierce, his muscles are capable of "weak ki-blasts and even low calibur (7.62mm/.303 and lower) bullets even if his human skin could not."

Meaning Pierce still has the capacity to feel pain, and the pain from such an explosio of that magnitude would be enough, (if not more than enough) to kill him.
I made sure this edit was more comprehensive this time.
English, I'm also legally blind. I'm going to edit things tomorrow to be comprehensive. Sorry about the misunderstanding and confusion.
That should suffice, I hope.
I'll edit then.
When Pierce brought the Golem overhead, Ivar hungry for victory, saw a chance. Electing to not use his powers to keep the construct together, allowed the giants base elements to crumble into dust, bathing Pierce in a large amount of Black Gunpowder. The inextinguishable fire from the torch that was on the construct's back would connect with the Gunpowder dust. The result, caused an explosion with the force of approximately twenty grenades. The flash that occurred illuminated the area in a flash of red and orange hues, followed by black smoke.

The remains of the construct would land in chunks of hot shrapnel down on the muscled man. The explosion would also vacuum the air out of the surrounding area. Leaving only hot embers, charred Gunpowder, and pain to breath in. The explosion would be enough to char and burn the flesh right off. That pain would be enough to make Pierce pass out, if he even survived. The latter was extremely doubtful.
My writing is really rough, that something i've been trying to work on.

As fr what i'm trying to do? I'm a little confused by that.

EDIT: Also, if that post was a little too bad metagame, I can edit it if you wish. Still getting used to this.
The Titanium behemoth, was only pushed back slightly before it's eyeless gaze turned as Ivar's eyes slowly caught up with the virtual Adonis of an oppnent. His eyes fixated on the man's postition. The other construct came lumbiner forth the sound of grinding and scrapping against the platform was apparant. The behemoth's massive pillar like legs depressing into the platform. The giant shifted it's eye-less gaze. Adjustin it's body movement, thus turning it's massive form to come to the aid of it's 'brother'.

So he can fly and he's super strong. Let's make this interesting!

The master of all things related to the Earth, his space was uncontested by most opponents,That's hwo it was going to stay! The giant's fingers reverted back to smetal slabs that. The construct this guy appeared behind, still within his realm of mastery. The giant's composition changed. Taking on a blackened tint, dulled by pangs of grey (60% Black Gunpowder/30% Flint/10% Tungsten Steel ). As Ivar allowed the man to continue with whatever he was going to do.

He's determined to show he's stronger. it's not unreasonable for him to grapple or even pick up my construct...

Ivar surmised, as the giant attmepted in vain to claw at it's backside. Ivar scooted back the bare minimum of distance that would allow his powers over the Earth and all that make it up to function. He allowed the , dirt and minerals underneath his body to propell him to the maximum distance his powers would be able to sustain both constructs his maximum distance he could operate both constructs.
The scrapping noise of grinding metal, echoed violently in the surrounding air. The construct made out of Titanium rushed forth, it's bulky form meing to clash with a being who was brave or foolish enough to challenge it's master, it's makeshift slabs feet intdenting itself into the ground, like a mythical Giant of old Norse Mythologoy. Ivar however was still master of the Earth and allowed the beings arms to mold and changes as it rushed forward, shaping them into that of a crude, but effective pick axe. When the two finally met, the giant made a vertical downward swing at the incredibly well built man. With both deadly shapes coming downward with enough force to render most men in twain, the metal monstrosity's kiling intent was mirroed by it's master's own.

Meanwhile, Ivar using his powers of Transmutation and Geomancy in conjuction with his steel being to cobble it's own 'flesh' into weapons made from a combination of Tungston Steel, Flint, and laced with Gonpowder. Into the shape of a razor sharp buzzsaw-like disc weapon, it's other fingers followed suite, molding into each of a single saw blade, five in total.

Ivar, in preparation for Pierce's movements, moved the Earth under his feet as sort of a platform, allowing himself to be lifted slightly up like a pair of plat-form shoes. Ivar was patient, but if this man was brave enough to challenge his constructs head on, logically that would mean he had some sort of abilites himself. Ivar had to prepare himself for all angles.
Map 1:

Brown - Cave entrance (they all connected under the earth via a 10w x 10h tunnel)
Grey - Stone pillars 30 feet high. These have torches of inextinguishable fire on each side of them about 5 feet up (the fire is extinguishable if other things are caught on fire with it)
Dark Blue - Rivers
Light blue - open sky
Green - Plains
Dark Green - Trees 15-20 feet high.

The Arena itself is a 200 diameter circular floating platform. It is about 40 feet thick and the edges are jagged cliffs.

Neither player may attack in opening post.
-------------

Ivar moved through the floating arena, as cautiously as his body shifted from it's flesh tone to that of a metallic gray tone. His feet crashed upon the surface indenting it as he moved upon it. It was simple, Ivar had the ability to effectively become a living being of metal. Ivar's lumbering form made his presence known, he wasn't one to care, as he moved around this platform, he ended up stopping by the stone pillars that stood as a testement to the variety of this place. Ivar carefully monitored the area as he tread through it, being alert in both his eyes and other abilities. Whover was here, if anyone had hostile intentions and was present here, Ivar would meet that intent in kind.

Just to be cautious, Ivar decided these stone pillars would best suited to his needs. His ability of Transmutation started it's effectiveness with put a touch, as Ivar had the will to consiouscly avoid absrobing the propeties of what he was going to do. His ability works with wonders turning both pillars into a combination of Titanium alloy and Tungston Steel. Using his master of all things Earth. He forms the two pillars, they take shape into a monsterious giant at least 30 feet tall, 20 feet wide, with two large torchs on it's back allowing for a very fearsome visage. The construct stood besides it's master, ready to do his bidding.
