Just a heads up, my posting is going to be a little erratic over the weekend because I'm visiting friends. I'm still hoping to get at least one post up every day, but it might not happen. I just didn't want you to think that I had lost interest!
Evee froze and blinked slowly, peering at the creature warily. “Did you--wha--Are you--Did you just say something?” the battered teen asked. In the light of the moon the beast looked much more mechanical than before. She was starting to think maybe it was a robot. The rain began to fall, making soft plinking noises off the maybe-a-robot, maybe-a-nightmare-monster’s armored skin. Sitting up straighter and a leaning in a little closer, Evee asked, “Can you understand me?”

The creature continued to peer at her, breaths still coming out in ragged puffs, and did not answer. He, Evee decided, wasn’t near as threatening when he wasn’t advancing on her or looming menacingly. He sort of reminded her of a puppy. A giant, eyeless, long toothed, mechanical puppy that could eat her alive in under ten seconds.
They sat together in silence for a long while, with the temperature slowly dropping around them. The blonde couldn’t be certain, but she thought maybe the creature was shivering. “Urm, are you alright?” Evee asked, blinking through a wave of dizziness. “If you swear not to kill me, you can come up on the porch out of the rain,” she offered, feeling a little sorry for the other. The beast did not respond right away, so the blonde patted the hardwood next to her. “Come on, the porch is covered. It’s not good for you to be out in the rain.”
"Slow down there, darlin'," Nori laughed, rocking up onto her tiptoes and patting the other girl affectionately on the shoulder. "Yes there's internet and you can move in as soon as you're ready. And I will love you forever if you'll help me with the laundry, but I won't make you do all the cleaning by yourself," the blonde answered, rocking back down and putting a hand on her hip. "I work at Club LUSH as a DJ, which is why I'm covered in glitter. The boys like it when I'm sparkly. Well, I guess some of the girls like it too," Nori paused here to give the taller girl a playful wink.

"From Afar is my second favorite manga and I have absolutely no opinion on turtles," Nori finished, honey colored eyes flicking over to the clock on the wall. Shit, she was gonna be late if she didn't get going soon. "Kameyo, huh? Nice to meet you, roomie," the blonde said, before nodding her head toward the front door. "I'm gonna have to go to work now. The spare key is on the dining table and I think there is some...carrots in the fridge. Actually, I might have eaten those yesterday," Nori chuckled, rubbing at her upper arm self consciously.

The petite blonde started to head out for work but paused, turning to look back at her new roommate. "You're over 21, right?" Nori asked, tilting her head to the side. "You should come with me tonight. It's a great way to meet new people," the girl offered.

Grabbing the spare keys from the table, Nori offered them to Kameyo before she herded the blue haired student out of the apartment. Locking the door, Nori walked over to the street and let out a wolf whistle, causing a taxi-cab to appear almost out of thin air. Opening the rear passenger door, Nori paused and waited for Kameyo to catch up. "C'mon Kame-girl, let's get you out on the town!"
Mud and dandruff coffee. Delicious!
@Dynamo Frokane Sure thing, boss! Nori should get to the club with the next post, I'm thinking she'll try to drag Kameyo with her since she's running a little late for work now.
...wobble. :D
“So Mia with the purple hair aye? You're so far the only white chick I've seen pull off a full head of purple and not have the dyed scalp too haha~”

Mia laughed at Darlene’s statement before admitting, “Oh no ma’am, I totally dyed my scalp the first time. I had to scrub it in the shower for forty five minutes. I’m not that talented.” The new boy came over and sat down, and Mia sat back to watch as Darlene introduced herself.

The British boy introduced himself as Nathan, before turning to Mia and asking, “And what’s your name then? Or can I just call you Barney the dinosaur?” Mia bit her bottom lip to stop a smirk from forming and quirked an eyebrow as the other teen obviously tried to back pedal. “I’m sorry, please don’t take that the wrong way. I only meant it as a joke. It looks really nice. Very unique.”

“It’s fine. It was actually a pretty good joke,” the purple haired girl admitted. “Wasn't very British of you though. What would the queen say about your manners?” Mia joked, giving Nathan a playful wink before adding,"I'm Mia." Mr. Buckner chose that moment to come by a take up their assignments, pausing to compliment her hair as he did so. Mia blushed a little at that and coughed, trying to refocus on the ice breaker. The teacher informed them that their colors dictated who they would be working with, and then split them up into groups. Her group included Jack, Ember, and Darlene. “So, should we move around so we’re sitting next to the people in our color groups?” Mia asked Darlene and Nathan, before shooting a glance at the girl named Ember. She seemed very upset about having to move away from her boyfriend.
I love Vitamin String Quartet and Paramore so much, I figured it would work well for her. I think it would have been weird to give her a club music theme song, seeing as how she's not cranked up to that level 100% of the time. Glad you liked it!
