Picking up the splinting materials, Kido started practicing a splint on one of Nat's arms. "No, I didn't see. The last time I saw him, he was walking toward the camp, but when I got here, the counselors had already taken care of him, I guess." Tying off the splint, he checked it to make sure it was done right. "There. You can practice on me if you want. Just pick a limb."

Kido was a little shocked by this. If he hadn't been so distracted at the moment, he might have jumped up and started freaking out. "The zombie? I guess I did see him! I almost got eaten, but I got away, and the counselors said they had everything under control..." He smoothed out his dress, trying to keep his thoughts straight. He felt tired all of a sudden.
